A lot of stuff was closed, but still worth going in.
Had a great time but I wish there was more interactive things to do. Educational but not very stimulating
Absolutely amazing experience. Loved it. However the lines are way too long. Especially considering the holiday time it was a crowded experience.
I was skeptical about to visiting this place I thought It ll be boring and just big machines but honestly I fall in love with the tour, they follow the protocols for COVID-19 and one thing your ticket work for 1 year it means you can save it and come back next year !! My favorite part the permanent exposition of the Atlantic !! Do not
Miss the 3D movie they very touching and you can see on a first hand how they launch to the space !!
The park was great but dont buy the ticket on this Google site its 3rd party reseller and the tickets are not valid at the gate. Reseller reached out to me and apologize they said that i will be getting a refund. Thanks
A real amusement park on space and nasa. The bus tour allows you to discover the launch platforms and Apollo, the museum on the shuttle is alive with the one in illustration.
Great day out withgood safety measure. Use the guide immediately and plan for each scheduled event so you can utilize time efficiently. Will be going again in 2021 as the tour to the launch site was unavailable, and some new areas were being built. At the time of this review they were given out free complimentary tickets for all of 2021 excluding blackout dates for this reasondue to covid restrictions. Great deal and great place to visit.
Better time these days than you get at Disney world! Great learning experience and a great time for kids to get involved in learning about the space program and its future. I just hope Joe Biden and Kamala Harris don't mess with NASA the way Barack Obama did. This agency is very important to the Future of the United States if there is to be one!
Quite pricey, but it s managed to hit the nail on the head when it comes to marrying fun and educational
I will say this is not a place to take kids under 10 unless they have a real interest in space or space crafts. It is a great experience for those that do enjoy space awesome displays and its NASA I had a blast but can't say the same for my kids even though I try to inform them they are just still too young to understand and grasp the marvel of whats there.
With the addition of new funds from the private sector you can see them at work.
No doubt nice place to go there. Few sections you will be experienced simulation of rocket launch. If you have less time you must visit Bus tour, Apollo and Atlantis.
Very cool. Couldn't do the bus tour because of covid but still very cool.
I cannot find a superlative powerful enough to express how wonderful a visit to Kennedy Space Center is.
This was our 2nd trip, visiting from Missouri. You will be so proud, and certainly not disappointed!
What can I say? It s Kennedy Space Center!
I ll just give a COVID19 update as of June 2020. The visitor center is open but several exhibits are closed. They are also not doing bus tours of the launch facilities.
The upside is that they are only charging half-price admission. They also gave us a ticket to return in 2021 when the space center is hopefully fully open.
There is still plenty to see and do. We got there shortly after it opened at 10 am and didn t leave until shortly before closing at 4pm.
Masks are required for the time being.
So awesome to see our Nation's history but buses out to Saturn V were very poorly run. People standing in line but the buses drove past as wait was almost an hour.
t this time your ticket is also valid to go back 2021. Not crowded and just so much to learn
So much fun! You can't do everything in one day. Visited here with my 14 year space buff. Absolutely amazing.
A must for any Florida visitor is certainly the Kennedy Space Center. There is a lot on offer and everything is great. The terrain is gigantic and the bus tour is definitely a must.
Especially the theme houses "Atlantis", "Apollo" or "Hall of Fame" are true highlights with many surprises and beautifully prepared historical stories.
It is worth it in any case!
Oh so much fun and so much to do. We will be back! The Alantis shuttle was amazing!
Most hands on experiences are closed so really not worth the money as of right now.
Loved the Space Center! Tons of movies to see, Rocket Garden is awesome. Did the Lunch with an Astronaut experience and met Steve Smith who was wonderful. Really inspirational trip!
Must see for all those interested in space science. Even those not interested will find it expressive
It's awesome n very educational I can't wait to go back to this year it's like a dream come true I love that place and so will everyone else that goes
Inspiring as heck. Amazing to see the Apollo. BUT for $57 per adult...way overpriced for a museum experience.
Exciting presentation of the history of the Space Shuttle! The Atlantis is the star. too worth the visit! I'm going back
Very rich day, we did a super hike and the kids love rockets. Good place to passrla as a family.
Amazing, both for the opportunity to see a launch (even if the rocket in which we were interested did not go to space today), and for the many bits of space history, especially including, in the case of Kennedy, the Atlantis space shuttle museum and its attendant exhibits, in particular the memorials to the lost shuttles (Colombia and Challenger) and crews. And we didn't even see the entire exhibit.
A great place to visit, for sure, but I was really disappointed by a couple of things... I was really looking forward to taking my kids on the bus tour, but it was closed due to Covid. I just think that's an excuse for just not wanting to give the tours though... There were so many avoidable exposure issues in all other areas that I just don't believe them when they say it's because of Covid. The other issue was the price... SO MANY areas were closed "due to Covid" yet they still charged full price! If I can only do half of what you usually offer, I expect to pay half as well. Yes, they offered a "free ticket" for anytime next year... But let's be honest, how many people will really be able to take them up on that offer? I don't have plans to return to Florida in 2021, so that isn't helpful at all. Would definitely wait until they are fully operational before you decide to sink that much money into a day.
Very exciting and some interactive sights. We plan to go again.
Very enjoyable - spent a full day there. There is enough to do for 2 days at a more leisurely pace.
We were driving past on our way home from vacation and thought it might be interesting to stop in. We had our dog with us. When we got to the toll booth for the parking lot, where you pay $10 to park, we asked the lady at the booth if we could take our dog in. She said there was a free kennel. We paid the $10 to park and we took our dog to the kennel we had to wait 10 minutes or so to have somebody come to the kennel and then the lady started tripping out about us being far away from her with our dog. Our dog was very calm and peaceful, no barking, no growling. She kept asking us to step further away and then at one point she said we were too far away and if we didn't come back she wasn't going to open the door. when we finally got in and got our dog tucked away she had paperwork for us and she required us to have paperwork from our veterinarian which we did not have with us on vacation.
By this point we were invested the $10 for parking plus about 25 minutes of our time but we were told we absolutely could not leave our dog without paperwork from our veterinarian. I then took me about another 15 minutes to get my money back for parking and then we left. The whole thing was ridiculous. The way the kennel is set up, the dog does not interact with any other dogs or any humans. The dog was wearing his shots tag, but there was no interest in checking that.
Great place! It exceeded my expectations and learn so much. You can see lots of spacecraft, have lunch with astronauts. Employees are great at answering questions and the driving tours are amazing. Look for the old eagle nest!
We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was well organized, thought through when it came to placement. Prices and food weren't that bad considering its a major tourist attraction. Worth the price and to hear about the amazing history there!
It's a great learning environment, but charges WAY to much for entry. $50 per adult AND child is a lot for me. Mammoth caves and Atlanta children's museum are less than half of that.
Getting to see a space shuttle and launch pads is an amazing experience.
What is there not to love about this? I have been gone for 20 years and visited this place during the coronavirus. It has been a long time since my last visit. The Astronaut Hall of Fame, Shuttle Atlantis display and especially the tribute to the Challenger and Columbia Memorial are unbelievably awesome and amazing. Great day to be an avid space buff. I can't wait for this place to be back at FULL THROTTLE UP
Awesome place! But you need two days and don't bring small children.
Very historical place. The visit to the Atlantis shuttle rocks. A must see. Half of the attractions are closed and it makes the price of the entrance expensive for half the attractions open. Good historical place.
If you go to Orlando and you like science or even a little bit of history, you cannot miss this place. I've missed it the first time that I've been to Orlando but I'm glad I had the opportunity to come back. This place is just amazing. Even better than any amusement park (and cheaper as well).
When you get there, go straight for the bus tour. You will have time later to see the attractions closer to the entrance.
It's a must if you are in the area. Totally worth it.
On our way to Disney world we had an extra day and decided to spend it at Kennedy and Cape Canaveral. We enjoyed it every bit as much as Disney. Plan on spending most of a day to see it all.
Supper interesting stuff, although not as nerdy as some museums and it has a very (overly) curated feel to it. We also had some really long waits in lines. It is way more crowded than it was two decades ago! It is impressive to see the Saturn V, but not sure it was worth the wait to get on to the bus. I would definitely try to hit the space center on an off day.
Underwhelmed by visitor complex. Didn't do any tours. Maybe those are better, but the complex itself is weak. Huntsville has a much better complex. Don't waste your money. And certainly don't go here to see a launch unless you have paid for launch viewing tickets. There is NO VIEW from the visitor's complex. Weak.
Love this place...there's bus going around the area for free...there's a theater. Food courts. Museum.
We had a good time at KSC. Two thirds of the tour was cancelled thanks to the shutdown. Still got to see a lot of exhibits, and the Space Shop was awesome. Recommend visiting when shutdown is not in effect.
Wow, the spacecraft on display here are breathtaking!!!! The KSC explore tour was so worth the extra dollars as you get to stop at the launch pads and VAB. Our tour guide was a wealth of great information.
It was amazing to see a real space shuttle and rockets etc. Worth visiting when in the Florida area.
It's a must visit location if you are in the area. Make sure to arrive early if you hope to see a launch.
Great place to visit. So much to see I wish we had more time.
Would give .5 more if possible. Well done, but less than expected. Explorer Tour was good, still waiting for a falcon 9 booster on public display.
Lots of history learning, what an experience simulation ride into space
Park not to miss at 1am from Orlando! Whether you are a fan of space exploration or not, the various attractions and the bus ride at the foot of the launching ramps will tell you the American story of the conquest of space!
Pretty awesome, NASA is incredible...they just need more employees & volunteers to direct ppl. Not cheap.
It was a great experience to see the actual rockets on display. The bus ride tour was a good way to start the visit to get an appreciation for the see size of the complex and to drive by the huge VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building), launch pads and crawlers that are used to transport the rockets to launch site.
A must visit for anyone mildly aware of human space flight. Great spot to learn about the US space program and get a glimpse of what s to come. In selected days you can also watch rocket launches. Check out the bus tours taking you inside the actual compound. Three stars.
Just wow! An absolute must-see with kids of all ages. The shows are great, we especially loved the Atlantis part and the rocket launch simulation. Food prices are very ok. Don t miss the bus tours as it will get you to the exhibition for the apollo missions and on the way you ll spot and be explained the different rocket launch pads and the infrastructure of the area. You ll learn a lot.
Visitor complex is made up of multiple buildings. Not everything is included in the general admission. They had some technical issues when we arrived at the hall of fame, so we had to spend time going back to that building to get the full experience. If you expect to see everything, plan on spending more than one day here. Otherwise, you can be satisfied just choosing things you absolutely must see and plan accordingly. Some shows only run once, so if you are on the ~2 hour bus tour, you may miss things. Our children had a great time and the adults thought it was overall okay. It's a little expensive for what you get and seemed less science and more theme park stylish. Some of the video parts were repetitive as we moved through the park.
We came during the week so there was little to no wait for everything. I could see being dissatisfied if the place was packed as you wouldn't be able to do as much.
We had a great time, changed a lot since i was there last.
The Atlantis exhibit is moving. If you grew up during the shuttle era, no words can capture the excitement/emotion of this exhibit. There are a few videos to watch leading up to the reveal that I feel will only speak to the older generation. They should tie the Atlantis and Mars exhibits together somehow. The Atlantis exhibit offers little to inspire future generations... I took it upon myself to inspire the little ones with me, since I'm fortunate enough to work in the industry. But, The SLS/mars/future stuff, I felt was lacking.... We need to get our youngster engage!
A leap into space and into the greatest adventure outside our planet!
Incredible experience. The bus tour must be done, the line is quite long (approx. 1.5 hours). At the end of the tour, they end up in Atlantis, which is also worth a visit. Lunch at the first bus stop is much better than what is available at the entrance.
What a great place to go. They put so much work into you having a good experience and to see all the history is so amazing.
