Good service. good food. high class decor, but relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent service. I got a New York strip and it was alright, but the mashed potatoes were excellent. 2 others at my table got the same thing and loved the entire meal. I may just be a little picky. Pretty expensive though.

Delmonico steak was a bone-in ribeye cooked to perfection. Fantastic service and drinks. After visiting on multiple occasions I can say the experience is consistently great. Our large party was given a private room.

Food was good. Service was less than average. Someone in our party was not hungry at that moment and asked to have their food to go and our server said they couldn't do it. They brought the food out and he had to box it up himself. Just didn't see the point of that and she was rude about it when he asked. Very strange as I have never heard of not being able to get the food to go at a restaurant.

Had a meeting I m a middle aged woman from nyc. I order a beer , I asked the bar guy what s the special or happy hour he said oh with a hand throw towards the Patio we were going to have 1/2 of our cocktails but you have to have them Putin the patio. I said it s too hot so I stayed at the bar. I then asked for a scotch uhm boalsburg pa restaurant charges $12 for scotch ok no thanks. Then I decided to order a burger and again asked the bar tender if there other burgers to choose from given I saw a list of burgers the last time I was there with a date. There was a turkey burger for sure and a Mexican burger and bison and on and on. But the bartender just thre the specials menu at me ( which he hadn t showed me before I ordered). And it didn t have the turkey burger on it either????!??????? Dipshit what didnTHAT prove? Oh it proved you had specials and you didn t bother to share them to me a middle aged woman. Then when my burger came out .., I had ordered rare with blue cheese ..., it was cold crumbles of blue cheese absolutely no attempt to melt to balls of blue chees. Not very nice to try to eat !!!! Every single burger with blue cheese I ve ever ordered had melted the cheese. So I asked the bartender if my crumbles could be melted . He said you can throw in the microwave . Then I got my check and he upcharged me for cheese. But you should have seen the food coming out for his buddies at the bar huge filets like 14 ounces then the custom cocktails were all the sudden for the bar area now???? Oh yeah you bare face lied to me again . The cocktail special was for the entire restaurant. I m well

Best delmonico steak of my life. I don't know how they do it but the garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic as well. Has to rank as one of my all time best meals.

This restaurant is very expensive for a somewhat average fine dining experience. I have traveled a lot and enjoyed much better quality of food at a much more reasonable price. We have chose Kelly's for dinner maybe once or twice a year because of the outdoor seating (one of the very few in the State College area). Every time we think, "yeah that was alright but just too pricey." We would not choose Kelly's for a special occasion because the quality of the meal is always a bit disappointing.
The service over the years has improved so that is good news. Not much else would make me inclined to recommend this restaurant to visitors to State College.

It is a long tradition to go here before all Penn State games we attend. Love the food and atmosphere.

I love that they kept the old steer statue atop The structure from the I days when it was previously known as the Boalsburg Steakhouse. The steer is a local landmark.

The Food here has been great the vast majority of the times I've been here. Only 1 time out of many visits did I get food that disappointed me and it was because the salmon was aged a tad too long. I was surprised that at the prices being paid that it was served with about a quarter inch of brown one the filet. That only happened once and I suspect the head cheddar was not present for it. Mind you the salmon still tasted good, just a bit on the fishy and not fresh side that you might expect for a high-end seafood restaurant. Given how far inland we are, I suppose I shouldn't judge this too harshly, hence the 5/5 rating.

Ordered the delmonico steak ... $ 37.00 was not impressed at all !!! Crab dip appetizer was OK. Sat at the bar 45 minutes waiting for the table that was vacant when we arrived !!! Needless to say, we won't be returning there !!!

Bought a dodge ram from them back in march, thing runs like a beast.

Went in walked past a sign that read please seat yourself . We did , a very rude waiter told us. the restaurant was only doing reservations to leave .

I haven't been here for awhile because I don't live locally,but the food and service was excellent as were the mojito's. I had the lemongrass scallops and she had the garlic parm stuffed chicken. Worth every penny. Our desert was exceptional. We will definitely drive the distance and return here.

I have been here several times and make it a point to enjoy my dinner here every time I am in state college. Every meal has been expertly seasoned and prepared. Tonight I enjoyed the Atlantic Char, delectable salmonesque with extra crispy skin. Everyone I refer here is also very happy. I love the wild caught seafood and grass fed beef, it cannot be matched.

We went in with the wrong expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised with the food that we got. The service was phenomenal and the staff was incredible!

Im going to start with the food, it was fantastic and perfectly cooked. However, I don't even care about that. I was eating alone and they happened to notice I am in the military. When I was expecting to get the check, I didn't. The waitress, who was also nothing but kind and helpful, told me that it was on them. They paid for my meal. I love the fact that there are still people like this in the world we live in. It was my first time going there when I just happened to drive by and thought I would stop in, but it most certainly won't be my last. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I would rate it 6 stars if I could because they were just above and beyond in their kindness. Thank you.

The service and food are both terrific. We just wish it was vloser to home so we could visit it often.

Have had great food! Let me recommend the halibut cheeks. Awesome!!! The prime rib sandwich is also a must. I have to commend them for there outdoor seating. The fabulous tents they put up. Very happy with the food and the service!!! I d give them 10 stars.

Great service and food. The chop chop salad is excellent and also the Lemongrass scallops.

Great steak and seafood place. Enjoyed lunch here with my daughter in law and grandchildren. Had the crabcake sandwich and spinach salad. Both were exceptional. Good service, very clean restaurant. Prompt and attentive. Fairly priced.

Seems to be a rare local gem (eaten there once only, but will come again). It is really hard to find good food in the area. Looks like possibly, one of the top places (at least top five) to go.

Steak overcooked and food not hot. Disappointing for a very expensive meal.

Just called in to place a "to-go" order of at least $100.00 and was told "we are not doing to go orders because we have a big party" haha. I will never understand a business that turns business away. What a joke. My company has spent tens of thousands of dollars at this establishment, and now I understand why they no longer do.

I am Extremely dissatisfied with the manager Ryan at this establishment and I feel sorry for the business owner of this restaurant. When i addressed an issue he clearly stated that he didn't care that he was losing this business money and treated our entire group with extreme disrespect. As a fellow business owner I could never imagine treating a customer with this much animosity. Covid 19 will not be the end of your business; your manager Ryan will be responsible for your downfall instead.
On a bright side the waitress Brooke was absolutely phenomal. We could not have hoped for better service after our horrible experience with Ryan.

Good food but way over priced . I spent 100 dollars on lunch for me and my wife.

Decent food but not as good as it once was. Nothing particular to complain about except the food has gotten more mundane and tastes more like a generic steakhouse. Service is still excellent and its one of the best in town.

Best steak running decades on end. The meat is quality and the ingredients are mostly fresh. Some food is frozen but that's the way of all food service restaurants. The owners are family oriented and enjoy drinks here and there. The best part of working for Kelly is free food and drinks for those who are of legal age. The worst part of working for Kelly is his egotistical personality and short shifts. Sorry Mr. Sean but your narcissist ways make this reviewer reluctant to give you five stars...in retrospect Kelly is four star worthy and this review is minus one star wordy.

Good variety of food selections and everything is done very well with tastes and flavors complimenting each other. They must let their chefs experiment as they are some new plates I've never seen before and normally have new updated menus when I visit (about once a year). Drinks are okay, prices are a little high but they can demand it.

Perhaps it is because so many people talked this place up, but I was a little disappointed with my one experience here. Our table must have been over a heating unit because the table and chairs vibrated the entire dinner. It was enough to make the silverware vibrate on the table. The steak was OK, but for the price I would have expected something better. It was basically the type of steak that you would expect from an Applebees or someplace like that. The men's room was not particularly clean, and there were a lot of places on the wall that had been patched, but not painted, so it looked pretty run-down. The server was not particularly attentive either

If I was in the area again, I might try it again to see if we just hit it on a bad night, but probably not until I had tried out a few other steak restaurants in the area first.

Th food was great both times we went. The device is a different story. We barely had water in our glasses throughout the meal and had to ask twice about drink refills and bread.

Early bird special is great. Sunday through Thursday.

Do a huge disservice to steaks and that "Cow" thats atop their restaurant!! Wayyyy overpriced with too many uppity up people in their for me. I miss the "Steakhouse" days!! Be your own judge tho. Wink DTM

Came here for a 50 person rehearsal dinner in the backroom. Yes, the the service was a little slow (understandable), but the quality of the food was impeccable!! The food was delicious(Parmesan encrusted sole)!!! I was shocked!! It left me wanting more! I definitely recommend it!

We had the prawns and the scallops - both cooked perfectly. I started with a the blue cheese salad, which was also delicious. Great service, great food!

Thebest steak house in town. Puts Texas roadhouse to shame.
