Basically grew up here.
Over the years this amusement park has constantly evolved, from rides, activities and decor.

Of course they still have the staples like, haunted house, go karts (for kids and adults), Beanas Mexican restaurant, skee ball and the classic spinning rides. This is a great place to go for date night, random night with friends or bringing the little ones, big enough for a local spot and affordable.

I had fun but was mad I ordered food for 11.20 I gave them 21.25 dollars they only gave me 9.25 at that point I was mad then I found out that you get 2 tiny pieces of bacon for one buck. There was this ride that was fun but it pushes you back it hurts and made me dizzy. The water park was perfect but the main thing is that they didn't pool I had fun

Affordable and convenient, atleast for my family we live in town. For anyone coming from out of town. Your gonna Love it. Between going to the water park during the early part of the day having a change of clothes then going to the amusement park right across the street letting the kids go on rides or you enjoy yourselves a drink and hot dogs there's nothing like that type of convenience when you come into a small town that's what you can expect and I'm sure that that's what you're looking for so give it a shot and take your family to Keansburg Amusement Park I'm sure you're going to love it

I've been coming to this boardwalk my whole life. I've never been dissatisfied as a guest attending the park unless I got myself nauseous on their spinning rides. If you're looking for a more relaxed day with less people, I suggest going on a weekday and taking advantage of the shorter rides. The weekdays have the boardwalk closing earlier- around 10:00PM, so its best to plan accordingly. They have several eating options: three large menu restaurants, two pizzerias, a burrito place, a hot dog eatery, a hamburger stand, and two bars. There's also plenty of ice cream, lemonade, and boardwalk snacks stands available. The boardwalk is also home to two arcades and a long list of game stalls for all ages to enjoy. If you're only going for one day as a test run, I suggest buying the wrist bands for all day rides. If you live in the area, come back often, or simply don't go on an extreme amount of rides when you visit, I recommend buying the ticket books. IMPORTANT: If you're going for more than a few hours, or are uninterested in paying for metered parking and the hassle of running back and forth to your car, park in the parking lot by the batting cages past all the rides. Its usually either $5 or $7 depending on the day for all day parking which comes with a coupon book that saves you on tickets, food, arcade, and stall games. I used to work here at the games and had so many happy customers thankful that I told them about those coupons. Can probably save you a few hundred dollars if you use them all. Great place for kids, a bit harder for older people to navigate. Plenty of seating, but not a lot of shade during the day. Wear lots of sunscreen. Also has an entrance right up onto the beach where you can hang out by the bay or take a walk up a gorgeous fishing pier, very romantic.

Always a great place to go with family. Between the boardwalk and the water park right across the street you cant gi wrong enjoying the day here. For years, or better yet, ever since I was a kid I've been going here. Even had my first job here when I was 14. At the batting cages. It's an excellent experience to be had by one or by all. If you have the change to go here, do. And be sure to enjoy a hot dog at the famous Heidelberg hot dog restaurant. Then there are the famous French fries and of course Zepoles. Now that one heck of a day to be ted. Enjoy and be sure to park in Sam's parking lot. That's 5 dollars for the day.

We were there on June 3rd. It s 61 degrees and there was 10 cars in the lot and we accidentally did back in parking. Got a 40$ ticket when the place was loosing money that day. The keansburgh police should be paying attention to the drug problem in their town and not be so concerned on people parking. We spent a couple hundred dollars and will never return do to their towns ungratefullness. Way to go keansburgh pd. Happy to know your priorities are in the right place.

Im from NY so the park was not worth the drive. The parks were small. The water rides were pretty good. However, the life guards were RUDE. They threw the tubes at people and little kids. They yelled at my 10 year old sister for not getting out the pool fast enough. I have been to many amusement parks such as, six flags, dorney park, splish splash ect., and the employes were soo nice. The experience was not that great at Keansburg Amusement Park...

Was super crowded which you would expect but very little social distancing and not a lot of people wearing masks. People were being waited on for food without having a mask on. The food service did though and so did all the ride and game operators. We didn't stay. Will go back on a weekday when not as crowed

I would have maybe left another star, had my guest not received such a BS parking ticket just for parking back first in her parking spot. So embarrassing, neither of us, nor people we tell will EVER return here. I've never heard anything so ridiculous, such a CASH GRAB. Make sure you pull in head first into your parking spot or you too will get a $40 ticket, ONTOP of paying $2 an hour for your parking spot to begin with. I don't know why parking back first is such an offense, that sounds completely made up just to suck more money out of you. I paid to park there, I should be able to back in if I want, filthy weasels. You have to try your luck with the rides too, sometimes the ride you want may not be open because the teenager operating it decided to maybe just LEAVE THEIR POST! No order there. The beach is filthy with garbage, the food is crusty, $32 for 1 sheet of tickets - for mediocre rides that are 4-6 tix pp, they're practically gone before you even blink - for rides that only last 15-30 SECONDS, and the majority of people that go there are straight up trash. As if the meth clinic teamed up with the projects and then decided to take a fied trip there or something. I don't expect anything less of Keansburg though, truly an embarrassment of NJ. Won't be coming back here ever again.

Nice

Terrible! This place has gone completely downhill. The dragon ride is now only meant for the smallest kids, so no one over the age of 9 can enjoy it! Half the rides were closed and with no notice.
we only went on about 4. So not worth it, especially for the price. Would rather stick to the county fairs in my area than drive 25 minutes for this. DONT GO!

Great old school amusement park. Great rides for little kids. The arcade is old school but fun. Right by the beach. We took our 14 month there and he loved it. Its also across from the water park.

Years ago, the rides here were available to everyone, young or old, big or small, but now, your height depends on what rides you can go on. So now I don t really like that rule. If a child is tall and wants to go on the little kid rides, they won t allow them because of how tall they are. They must go on the big kid rides. Overall, the place is nice and has great rides.

When i first found this beach, i was in love. Fishing pier, you could do some light grilling on beach, the sand was beautiful and the cake topper was that you could see the statue of liberty from the beach! Throw in a parking area and I'm sold!

There is also a mini board walk with just enough rides and games for the tweenies and under. For the older ones, literally across a small street is an outdoor water park.
And hold on parents and single couples, there are a few eateries/bars also on boardwalk for your pleasure.

All in all I loved it. Sadly, just went the weekend of memorial day, and the beach is horrible! So much trash and debris that i had to put my flip flops back on to walk on sand! It's a disgusting shame that people will not clean up behind themselves upon leaving! You are just as responsible for keeping the beach clean as the actual owners.

And speaking of owners, the fees you are charging for parking, what are you doing with it? Because the beach is not clean, the wooden ramp that was built to accomodate wheelchairs, strollers, coolers, etc., ia not being maintained.

I literally fell head first on the ramp because the front of my flip flop got caught on one of many nails, I seen sticking up. I couldnt catch my balance in enough time so all i could do was brace myself for the fall. I wasn't embarrassed, just shocked. I actually laughed after deciding to just lay there for a few seconds. Three young ladies (reminding me of my 19yr old) were coming down the ramp and saw me fall. One had a stroller and retrieved my phone for me. Another one offered to help me up after asking if I were ok.

I would like to thank them again for their assistance and not laughing at me. Well, at least not in my face, LOL. My older kids certainly would have after asking if i were ok...hell, i laughed too. Just a scraped knee, but otherwise God had me!

I hope someone who works this area reads this, or if someone that knows someone, that knows someone...LOL. Please tell them to provide trash cans on or near the beach and warn folks about cleaning up behind themselves. If not, then ban food and grilling altogether.

This beach is used and shared by wildlife as well as humans. Lets work together to keep it safe for all!

The search is easy but the time that they have up on the site is misleading. I visited and decided to google for info and the time said (7am to 8am). Secondly by the time remaining unedited it allows people to believe that the pro is closed. This is why traffic to this place is not full. The water on the beach is so dirty you can t even see through it!! Plus there is fish floating around while your trying to enjoy a swim. You don t know what might bite you or sting you while your swimming. Iv even seen garbage floating on top of the water. Not a good thing for kids to enjoy.

The only complaint about this place would be that they need more personnel to operate rides. Having to wait in line for an operator that is responsible for 2 rides at once is very inconvenient.
