Keansburg Amusement Park Reviews

I would love to give this place a 5 star rating but I just cannot. This town surrounding Keansburg has always been ghetto as hell. You think they would clean up the streets; instead of just rebuilding the water park. They need to make the ride selection bigger as well. Its been the same rides for 20+ years. We all know whoever has been coming here since they were a kid, arcades dont have the flair they used to have. Its more about how many kids we can get smoking cigarettes on the boardwalk (or streetwalk) and obnoxious racist kids talking about people as they walk by. I would love to change this review in due time but I can tell you that the future of Keansburg is pretty friggen grim.

This park is affordable and FUN for all ages. The beach owned by the amusement park is extremely clean and they have staff maintain and clean it every single morning. There are GREAT deals every single day of the week- especially their Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday deal. Buy one bracelet get one free. $53.95 for two people for BOTH the amusement park and the water park. The food is reasonably priced with a variety of options. I would recommend parking in the ALL day lot- $5 dollars on weekdays and $8 on weekends otherwise you risk getting ticketed by the town for metered parking. You also receive a coupon sheet with savings when you park in the lot. The park has definitely improved in the last couple years- with newly renovated games, batting cages, and fishing pier. I recommend checking their Facebook page for daily updates and reminders deals/specials/events. One of the best places for a day trip in new jersey.

First time back in over 15 yrs, It's unfortunate most of it was out of business but still a lot of fun at low cost. My wife and I enjoyed it

Had so much fun. Pizza buy the store was the best we took 3 pies home with us.

It s start to be chilly around the time of year and a lot of attractions are being operated by a handful of staff because school has started back up. But still can have fun in the arcade and get some decent food. Summer time though you have way more fun!! And Beach Action!!

Was there this week, terrible Long lines and high pricing for the gaming - and the cyclone was closed.

This has always been my "go to" with the kids if I'm looking for a little quick day trip. I've been going since I was a child. I give three stars because of the convenience however they could use a little updating and they're a bit pricey.

Not much there anymore,,, I use to go there when I was a kid. It's still early yet in the season but They say there's not much more

First of all you are paying 36 dollars to run around this park for 3hrs max. When we went it may have been short staffed because only half the rides were open and they alternate the rides opening. So when one closed the other opened. It was pretty clean and followed covid protocol. The place was packed at only 50 percent capacity and the ride lines went quick.

We went on a Mon not too crowed you dont have to wait too long to get pn the rides great place to spend a hot summer day with the kids and not expensive

A good amount of rides. Nice fun spot. it's relatively affordable. Most of the staff is a bit cranky.

Good clean waterpark. They no longer do buy 2 get one free. Just wish they had slides where a parent can go together with their toddler. $10 cash locker plus another$10 deposit that you get back once you return key.

A lot of toddler rides, but not enough staff. You have to chase them down, and ask them to open the ride. Bring cash. Only place for credit card is the ticket booth. Also, watch your little ones at the water park. There are a lot of kids who dont know how to wait. They will shove, push their way, crashing into each other. The dry rides dont open at 10 am, as listed on their website. Cafe not open on time. They opened after 12. Severely understaffed. Had a run in with a mom who was more pissed that I blocked her child from going down the slide when my son was still on the slide. Her young child did not know how to wait, and I prevented her from crashing into my son at the bottom of the slide. Lots of strange parents who dont understand the concept of waiting, thus their kids do the same. Be cautious, if you have little ones.

i like this place but except why do you need to buy tickets just to go on a ride like seriously?

Great kiddie rides. Staff was a combination of super friendly(YAY!) and indifferent (Boo!) We like Friendly. Wasn't busy due to weather so no lines. Take Cash for food and games. Overall great value for day out.

Amusement park has many kiddie rides, a few thrill rides. Think of it as a smaller version of Six Flags.
Water park has 5 big water rides, lazy river, bucket and fountains. A good place to spend a hot Summer day. Discounts are available on their website. Check height and other restrictions before heading there.

The only amusement I found here was watching the people.

I used to go there a long time ago and I feel it's still the same. I'm not one to talk since I haven't been to the amusement park in over 2 years but it definitely is a great place to go with the family. I must warn you though, it's not really nice there in the school season. (september - may because of the low amount of people). When I was last there I did see a few problems with the park as the paint was thinning and not enough places were open but I heard they renovated it so it might be better than it was at that time.

Good kid entertainment cheap overpriced food all the arcades are now ripoffs overpriced cheesy little prizes if you are lucky to win most people don't Bev and Wally's hey Juan's crate arcade the icon of Keansburg Amusement Park Has Fallen to the levels of cheap other than the rides for kids the rest of the park is going down the toilet even though eyes are getting expensive forget about the arcades you're throwing away your money

Great bargain and a great experience. Most families have wildwood or seaside on the brain in the summer but if you know how to behave yourself when you're in a town that is not your own keansburg is the exact kind of low key getaway you're looking for. Both boardwalk and Waterpark are a blast albeit a little different this year because of the Ronia. Be safe folks where your mask respect the locals.....they bite...
