I give it four stars for the fishing pier and the free beach.

The beach though is little dirty.

Every once in a while instead of a fish swimming by, a plastic bag might swim by.

Don't eat it.

Keansburg is greater than the sum of its parts, but...its still just Keabsburgh.

Drove 2 hours to go to the amusement part, it states that is open late to 11pm I get there and everything but just like two rides are open and I get told they close at 9pm mind you I got there 8pm. Not cool at all

My First time there..The food vendors had no gloves on no one..I saw a young man scratch his head then went straight to handling food..another one girl wipes her hands on her clothes when coming from the back..I ate nothing while I was there and will never go back.

I brought my kids by over the holiday weekend. We had a great time, but the food establishments were a bit slow with bringing food out. Rides seemed a bit outdated, but nothing you wouldn't see at a carnival or one of the church fairs. All and all, great day with the kids.

I like Keansburg because there are a variety of things to do. You can go to the beach area, you can go to the amusement park section and play games in the arcade or ride on rides. The food is ok. It's your typical amusement park food, nothing to brag about. I just recently went for the 4th. The show this year was nothing compared to the previous ones I went to. It took forever to start and it ended very soon. Also when going on the 4th to the beach section, beware of people setting off their own fireworks because that happened when I recently went and my family and I had to move so we wouldn't get burned by fireworks.

I would give it 5 if the rules were unforced more. But it's a bunch of young kids running the place. They are nice. But they are basically on summer break. We go every year. The kids love it. Ages1-16.

Nice little amusement park tucked away at the top of the Jersey shore. They have a small water park open during the season and are on the beach front no boardwalk. Great for little kids. Older but well maintained. You can enter without having to pay. The area just surrounding the area is a bit seedy. You have to watch where you park and don't stray from the amusement area. Lots of stands and games of chance. There are had go carts there as well. Just watch you six.

OK for a local water park. Lifeguards in the kiddie area need to pay a lot more attention and send kids down slides one at a time so they don't slam into each other at the bottom of the slide.

Come with cash - lockers, Dippin Dots only takes cash. There's an ATM right outside the gate but of course it was out of service, had to walk over to the arcade.

Google says park opened at 10am. Arrived at 10:30am and park was closed except for a few employees setting up. We paid for parking and have been waiting for over a half hour. Coming early to beat the sun didn t work out for us. Don t waste your time

This was a bad experience. Not worth the drive nor money. The only fun thing about this place is there water tower/ entertainment area. Fun for kids and adults. Other than that all the other rides were outdated and cruddy. Park is small. There is one place to get food inside the park. Lines are terribly long! 2 and 3 hour sessions in water park only! And my 11 yr old got hurt on 3 of the water slides. If your local it may be convenient to go. If not , save ur time for elsewhere.

This is a great place for younger kids. The rides are reasonably priced but a little on the old side. The lines are short most of the attendants are nice enough. Great place to kill an hour or two. Has been slightly updated in the past few years. Older kids might enjoy the go carts, batting cages, and bumper cars, decent arcade, and the hand full of bigger rides. Point Pleasant or Seaside is a better bet for serious riders.

A nice place to go for when you want to relax and enjoy the sunset. The beach is not overly full or noisy and you can get something to eat in the park as well. I enjoy just sitting on the sand and enjoying the view.

Love

Everything thing was great about here until we went to the bathrooms. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. The floors are covered in dirty water, hair and small pieces of food. And as of July 21, 2020 (7-21-20), the showers don't work.

My family has been going to Keansburg Amusement Park since the children were small (now 21 year old twins). The price is right, it's clean, there's plenty of fun things to do and it's the right size for a family with small children - even older ones too!

We especially love the arcades - Bev & Wally's is the best. They have great prizes at reasonable ticket redemption. It's only the first week of June and I've already won a vacuum and a toaster!

There aren't a lot of healthy food choices, so if you are worried about that, pack a lunch. There are however, lots of great snacks and boardwalk food at reasonable prices.

Its a lot of fun at a reasonable price.

Fun!

BOARDWALK TOP GUN ATTRACTION GAMES ARE NOT GOOD WORKERS!! They will over work kids and don t pay by the book. The kids would work 11 hours a day and only have 1 day off. Do not work for Outside games. Only apply for rides, food or or etc not outside games. I m only rating 5 stars so I m giving you hints not to work for Top gun attractions.

Today was my first time at Keansburg and I'm so glad i DID NOT listen to the bad reviews on this website! I took my mother,my son(7)and cousin(13) and we had an amazing time! They have a special wristband discount at buy one get one free on this day(Thursday) along with Mondays and Wednesdays. We were able to spend time at the amusement park as well as the water park. The staff was very patient and kind, the food prices weren't too bad I suggest walking around to get a feel of the prices. The kids had a blast and so did my mother and i, there were plenty of rides and there is also a beach near-by. (We didn't visit the beach ) The drive was about an hour away but it was worth it! The parking was $5(weekday) and very close to the park. Take your family, mine had a great time.
