Keansburg Amusement Park Review

So relaxing played all the games. Won some lost some had a great day

All in one fun! Free beach, water park and amusement park. You can't go wrong with this place. My 11 year old loves it!!

It was very exciting for my granddaughter! She had a ball

It's an alright place...the food is okay...the rides are okay... this is a place for younger children and tweens.

OMG THIS WAS THE BEST AMUSEMENT PARK EVER. IT HAD EVERYTHING. A WATER PARK, AN ARCADE AREA, AND A BUNCH OF ROLLER COASTER RIDES. IT WAS PERFECT. I WILL BE GOING BACK THERE NEXT TIME I VISIT JERSEY.

Amusement park and Water Park and beach all together made a great combination.

I have been taking my kids to Keansburg since 1985. And now I take my grandson. But I was so disappointed when I took him this past Monday. There was no one at games we wanted to play. We had to look for someone to run it, then wait till they finished running another booth. It was the same way with the rides. One of our traditions is to get the delicious zeppolies before we go home !!! Well that was a disappointment also. I spent $24 on them to find out when we got to the car, they were dark and hard. DEFINITELY NOT fresh. And they were round as meatballs. When trying to return them we were told we cannot. What a disappointment and wasted day. Breaks my heart how ppl don t care anymore.

DO NOT GO HERE!! A complete waste of time and $$. The staff is miserable, the place is run down, food is gross and they only open 1 or 2 rides at a time from being short staffed. Plus they don't even open when they say they will. We got there at 10:30 because the web site says it opens at 11, so we ate lunch, gave out bracelets only to be told nothing will be open till 12. Tried taking kids to the bathroom( we were with a camp group of 70 kids) and they would not even let us do that. So they expected them to wait and hour and half before using the bathrooms while sitting in 90 degree weather with no shade!! They don't even deserve 1 star!!

This is a nice place especially for the kids. It can get crowded but the lines for the rides move quick

Great small waterpark. Parking is only 5$ all day. Be sure to check out their offers on groupon. Food is not bad at all. The usual fast food. Fries, wings, pretzels, chicken tenders. Not expensive at all

This was my favorite place to go as a kid, it was always so much fun. It is a bit more run down now, but still beautiful at night. And it's much cheaper than other boardwalks in NJ.

Super fun place to go for a day trip local a lil high priced but it's on the beach so what can you expect

Very relaxed regulations. People are on top of each other without masks. There aren't that many rides but since the ticket is only for 3 hours, it works. The question is, is it worth it for $32 for 3 hours? The nice thing is that next to it is arcade, rides and go carts, so you can definitely make a day out of it.

Not like it used to be. Really no rides for 8-10year olds. Baby rides run down I d be afraid to put my children on them. Got two very stale pretzels. Parking is a joke you need quarters it doesn t take dollars. I had enough for quarters for 35 minutes. Then we left. Won t be back

Everything else was good but the girl controlling the green dragon ride on Saturday night 8/17 was extremely rude.

The overall presentation is very run down and dirty. Beach in front actually had broken glass everywhere, and Wal-Mart bags floating and in beach.

The park itself was alright, there were quite a few rides. I went with kids ranging in ages 3-9 and all had a pretty good time. However, the park looked old and more than a little dirty.The bathrooms were DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. The staff was literally the worst I had ever encountered in an amusement park EVER. Most of the workers were extremely rude and very nasty, even yelling at young children. The majority of them did not even check to ensure children were strapped into the rides properly, nor did they bother to help little ones into and out of the rides. They also didn't have nearly enough workers for every ride. Many of them weren't checking height requirements-- I saw a child go on a ride that he was literally ten inches too short for. These miserable workers are putting the safetly of children at risk, and that's why I give this park a big fat 0 rating, and I will NEVER go there again.

We liked it. Was very clean. Much bigger than I expected. Good amount to do for younger kids, but not to much for my one year old. Only down side was it was a little bit on the expensive side, but overall still a great day!

Fun for all ages. We loved the ocean that is right behind the park

My son got so sick because of the heat and a wonderful lady at one of the games across from the kids rides jumped into action and helped me get his body temperature down and ensure that he was ok. She was so wonderful and helpful when I was feeling a little scared. I did not catch her name but I am very greatful.

This place is amazing and you should go there and have the time of your life

Go on a day where you can get the wristbands 2 for 1. Youll get a bang for your buck. I think its M, W and Th.

Went here for a birthday party I had a blast my daughter had a blast and most importantly the birthday girl had a blast will totally be back again

I really cant even give this place a one star.been coming her for 20 years with my kids now with my grandchildren and it gets worse every year and keep saying We are done trying but this year I am.You have to wait forever for someone to get you on rides because there is one attendant for 5 rides.some rides or booths not even open.We were supposed to get free tickets this year because last year half of the rides were closed and they never contacted us back after many many attempts.you cant even get anyone to answer the phone when you call.NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

Nice place for kids rides. It's a little out of date and a little beat up but still fun. The go karts are great.

Was ok, but parking was cash only and cops were hovering giving tickets for every stupid reason

Keansburg amusement park is close to a water park know as Runaway rapids. I went to both and had a great time the waterslides and rides are all fun though, on a windy day the big towers can get a little frightening over all it's very fun and you can get a band to go to both parks one band for two parks is awesome!

Even in weekend some of the rides are not opearation

The weather is breaking. School is almost out. I know what your pondering. What am I going to do with my family this summer? Here s a suggestion go check out Keansburg Beachway Amusement Park. Trust me you won t be disappointed. If you don t know or haven t heard it s one of the coolest place to be while attempting to beat the heat and keep the little ones entertained. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know they have a few other beach in New Jersey that you might want to go checkout. The difference maker in Keansburg s setup is they have a mini H2O park a amusement park,plus the beach all in one. It s less overcrowded then the other beaches. You pay for the parking and please park head on if you want to avoid a forty dollar ticket for not following the signs. The beach is free! Food is great and you can always bring your own setup if you like.

It's not the same since Hurricane Sandy...she really took the wind from it's sails. But still a nice place to bring the kids for a Good time, good selection of kiddie rides, plus multiple choices for pizza and aleays have to hit up the French Frie stand!

It's a dump. Little improvement over the years. Kinda trashy actually. Rides are old. Stands mostly closed. Parking is a issue as resident restricted parking is everywhere.

I can't think of any one spot at the Jersey Shore that has gone further downhill than this place. This used to be the place to go years ago. Now it's just out of date rides, peeling paint, gross food, and seedy clientele who allow their children to run amok.

I love it! It's close. Games are fun. Food is good. And I love to sit and have a drink and people watch.

It wasn't too crowded and the kids enjoyed the short wait in lines. Park adhered to cleaning and sanitizing to keep customers safe. Would vamp up bathroom facilities a bit, not the best

Highly recommend for kids. No entry free, they have ample parking in the back, very affordable. Wait times are not high.

Rides are fun, arcades are expensive but the town feels abandoned

Ok for little kids but park needs update and clean better .
over all the beach is right there so better to enjoy the beach and skip the park.

Very good to go with children, it has different attractions

The website made it seem like a fun place and it probably would be but most of the rides were closed down or did not have an operator. The haunted house was a waste of tickets and time, the only rides that were functioning when I went were the bumper cars and the big boat that swings, those were decent but until I find out that all the rides are repaired or have operators I won't be returning.

Edit: It seems like it would be fun for little children but the rides are so run down putting little kids on them would be a mistake, I thought they just did not have the staff to operate all the rides when some functioning rides did not have operators but the operators just left their posts! Complete garbage, never coming back

SO MUCH FUN! Love this place! And food is fantastic

They are really trying. It's not that big but they sure got allot of rides games and food in there! Not to mention the beach is free and right behind it so it's a good family or date place. Cleaner than I thought it would be very good experience

Love this place been going here for over 35 years. I went as a chils and now bring my children.
