Took my 2 yr old nephew here and wish we hadn't wasted our time. Because he is 30" tall there was not one ride he could go one and when we spoke to one of the ticket sellers to find out if there was even one ride he could enjoy we were given attitude. Looking back now I am happy they said he couldn't ride anything, none of the ride workers were paying attention to the riders instead of their phones or any other distraction and none of the rides looked like they had been properly serviced from all the rust, squeals and bangs coming from them.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here with a camp group and I was the counselor. We called in the morning to find out what time we should arrive. The woman on the phone said 11. We got there at 10 Am to eat lunch, they then told us they open at 12.
After lunch we started taking kids to the bathroom in preparation for the rides. We were kicked out of 3/4 bathrooms because they were closed. We asked where were supposed to take them and they told us to wait till 12. It was 10:45 at this point. We complained saying we have 62 kids waiting to use the amusement park who needed to use the bathroom. She then again told us she didn t make the rules and had to wait, unfortunately we had to sneak them into the bathroom in order for our kids not to pee their pants.
In order to accommodate us, they told us we could use the haunted house in the meantime until the park opened. We took our kids to the haunted house in the 90 degree weather we waited for 25 min, our kids were sweating. No worker showed up, until another worker came over to tell us the haunted house doesn t open until 1. Again frustrated, our kids went to the arcade spent almost all their money they had out of pure boredom. Finally at 12 one ride opened. I repeat one ride. That one ride ran for 45 min. So they went on the same ride over and over again. Then the same worker closed that ride and opened the next. Clearly low on staff, and a disrespectful staff at that. We had 3 kids who threw up from dehydration and they wouldn t give them a cup of water unless we paid 50c each. We fought it but our kids needed water so we paid.
I personally went to get a hot dog and fries for lunch. I believe I paid $9 all together, the hot dog was disgusting, it definitely had some type of mold attacheted it was sitting on the grill and the bun was stale I cut the hot dog on the end to try a piece and it was horrible I threw it out and went right back up and stated I wanted a refund. She then said we do not give refunds on food items. I said this is clearly not edible and wanted a refund. As I complained more and more, A man came over yelling and said here s a $1. I said I paid $4 for this and he said well I can t give you a full refund for something you ate. I said I didn t eat it they threw it out. As we went back and forth they called a manger and she said she would not give me a refund and asked me to leave the park. Obviously I said no because I am the camp counselor and let it go.
Rides were either not working, or not running, due to a shortage of staff. At the end of the day, we needed to count the kids and get them on the bus. It was 90 degrees and we did not want our kids in the sun so we attempted to put them inside, in the shade as we had already had three kids be a victim of the heat. They kicked us out and said it was reserved for paying customer and needed to leave. I stated we would only be there 2 minutes in order to count them and get straight on the bus she said again she doesn t make the rules and we needed to wait. By far the rudest and most inconsiderate amusement park we have ever been to. We will not be coming back and I would never come here on my free time. Practically the biggest waste of money and rudest staff we ve ever had to deal with.

Wish this place would go away. The owners have been a vaccine against progress. Playland, not a place to live and thrive. Just tour the neighborhood. When the boardwalk was owned by family businesses it was great but the Gillhaus greed has sickend me,

I always like going here. Food is good. Activities for the grandchildren (rides & water park), and the beach. They did a great cleanup. No seaweed all over the place and no litter. The only thing is those horse flies...but what you going to do. Other than that....I enjoyed the calm of the water.

I usually come here, my kids enjoy this small water park. I was told the park is not crowded during the week, so I came here on a Tuesday morning. The park is fuller than I am comfortable with due to Covid. The park should limit their attendance by doing online sales of tickets.

I have been going to Keansburg amusement park since I was a little girl. They have changed for the worst since then. When I was a child most of the games only cost $0.25. Now if you go most games are between 3 and $5. The beach is not to clean either. The water is brown but that's not the problem, the problem is all of the broken shells in the sand makes it impossible to walk on the beach without shoes and the sand is so soft that flip flops would be twice as hard to walk through you'd be better off wearing a sneaker. They do have a bathroom where are you can rinse off your feet in the sink and also a shower head which is a nice amenity. If you go into the game room you could easily spend 40 or $50 in 15 minutes and walk out with a 25-cent keychain. Also the rides are extremely expensive. If you have three children with you it will cost you upwards of 9 to $12 to put them all on one ride that will last three to five minutes. They have coupon books you can buy but you really don't save much you're lucky if you get one extra ride out of them and if you don't use all of your tickets you might end up taking them home and never get any use out of them which would be the same as just flushing them down the toilet. They do have one $0.25 game on the boardwalk that I seen last summer when I went down there and I was able to win a giant pack Sour Patch Kids valued at about $6 and it cost me about $6 to win it so I broke even. There is a large restaurant with a bar that has live music at night and on the weekends as well and they have been around forever. That is the restaurant my family would eat dinner at every time we went and it's pretty expensive. Years ago you didn't have to pay for parking now you do and it's not cheap. If I'm not mistaken it was 6 to $8 for two hours of parking. Keansburg is not what it used to be and as long as they keep raising their prices it will continue to push people away

Had a nice time except that not all the rides have some one to run them. I go at least 5 times a season and the kids are always disappointed because no one is available to run all the rides

Go here every year with my family. We love it! If you're looking for thrill and crazy coasters go to six flags but KEANSBURG is an awesome smaller park for families with kids maybe even teens. I love it! Only wish they had a pool to chill in but its still awesome!

Went with 1,2, and 15 year old and really enjoyed it. No long lines at the waterpark on a very hot day. We got rained out so they gave us free passes to come back and we are returning today!

I use to come here in the 60's 70's and 80's,my grandmother lived on seabreeze way and every summer we would visit and stay for a few days and my brother and sister and myself would go to the boardwalk and swim at the belvadere pool,we always had a good time we had a lot of fun. Then in the 90's I would talk my family there and my 5 kids love it, now I'm 63 and my kids are grown up and my wife and I have 4 grandchildren and I haven't been there in15 years I'm thinking about going back to keansburg and having some fun with my wife this summer, we both love and miss the waffles and icecream, and a few cold beers it's such a fun place,I hope it is as nice as it was the last time we were there......Tony Congema, long Island,N.Y.

Think of Coney Island in the 20s. A quaint, inexpensive retro amusement park on a beach with distant views of NYC. Raw, beautiful, OG...a special place for allot of folks.

Its a nice size & fun for the kiddies. The beach was clean & everyone properly social distance between one another. The park isn't huge but it's a lot of fun and plenty food all around.

Hello everyone, I know the park is closed due to the Covid19. But I was fishing with my husband and teenage son , I woke up at 5 am and arrive just on time to the sunrise. Kayakers and fishermen were coming early too. It s beautiful the bay. Needs to be clean more often and people need to take the trash out.

A+

My son loves this place, we visit at least 2 times each summer. It is inexpensive. They have adult rides as well as rides for toddlers. 2 arcades, several amusement games and a few places to eat. There is also a public beach behind it to add to the fun. There is also a waterpark across the street.

This small town on the shore of New Jersey has a great amusement park. There are some great delicious sausage and pepper sandwich shops on the boardwalk. There are a lot of bars. The beaches are free. Try the bar pies. Yummy. Fun place to visit.

i was thrilled to use the go karts because my son is a car fanatic... but.. I think its too xpensive for just 5 min which didn't enjoy cuz everytime sum1s car turned they stopped the whole thing which took time off so it was too fast for 8 dollars.. and food is xpensive too. but other than that they had few good rides and the water park wasn't that bad and I like that the beach area is in the back but.... the water was soo filthy on the left side of the fishing pier the right side wasn't as dirty..

My family and I visited the park earlier today. What a rip off. Paid over $150 for tickets for a family of four on a Sunday and the majority of the rides are kiddie rides. GREAT for small children between the ages of 2 to 7, not above that. We have been planning this trip for about three weeks now. So disappointed. Definitely not cheap. For the five or six rides that were for older kids, people were not even there to start to the rides. We went at about 1:00 p.m. and the park opens at 10. There was no reason for people not to be there to maintain the rides. Do not waste your time, go to a different amusement park. I recommend Trimpers Rides.
