Beautifully situated, menu card very good, bistro card poor breakfast ok Okay service ok rooms appealing

Nice hotel, nice (Christmas) decoration and very friendly staff!

First visit to icy outside temperatures in February 2016. Beautiful outdoor walk made on the domain, was not perfectly maintained at the time, but that may have been temporary. Professional service at reception, spacious rooms, beautiful evening meal, divine breakfast in the morning, we will definitely go back there soon: D

For a 3-star hotel, this place is really quite amazing. The rooms are a very good size and there are many restaurants to choose from (both indoors and outdoors). But the forest and gardens surrounding the property are really the best feature - you can spend the entire day wondering through nature, picnicking or cycling through the various routes. It s close enough to the city center that you can still explore the town, but far enough away that you re in a quiet and beautiful area when you come back. Breakfast was delicious and the bar is unbelievably cool. I would highly recommend this hotel

A great experience, close to Maastricht, yet in a unique location outside, in a leafy park. Beautifully decorated.

As part of our 25-year wedding anniversary, our children invited us to dinner at the Vaeshartelt restaurant. We had a super pleasant evening and had a nice meal but Murphy's law applied to the reservation, all courses incl. The bill.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and luxurious rooms. The red house cat completed the picture. Located in a nice park for walking.

Very bad service at the bar, impolite young people working also zero knowledge - Negroni was literally only campari, and we waited for it more then 30 min. In the room was so much dust on the paintings' frames sink was slimy. We had comfort plus room with nothing in the room. Coffee machines at breakfast was bad, coffee tasted like old socks. Only two good things to say: surroundings lovely and there is very charming ginger cat living in the hotel. Not worth spending your money.

We got married here four years ago and we still visit every now and again. Beautiful place for coffee, lunch or dinner. Amazing surroundings. Hotel is great too.

Chic and at the same time accessible and beautiful castle park with beautiful old trees. Worth the effort. By the way, tasty snacks.

Quietly located even though a train passes nearby. Nice and large park, the rooms are sleek sober modern. Nice breakfast and retaurant, very cozy definitely recommended at 5km from Maastricht center.

Relax in a quiet environment where you can stretch your legs

Very nice location nice modern room made everything new. Mattresses a bit soft, otherwise really very satisfied. The breakfast was rather mediocre. What was there was very good and fresh. However, the choice was very limited.

we were 2 days (with Groupon booked) in December in this hotel. We had booked a deluxe room. Well, deluxe .... we were in the adjoining room, which is not bad. The rooms, however, can at best be described as "simple". More

Entry was good. Room on 3rd floor a bit against, bathroom fairly small and shower jet soft. Breakfast was okay. A very nice place

We are here after we got married in church, we held our party here from noon to night in 2016 really I can't mention a point anything less everything was perfectly arranged exactly as we had agreed in advance

Beautiful location with beautiful gardens. A bit pricey in terms of personal contribution ... castle maintenance, count on 13 euros per couple. Place itself is very beautiful. You can walk beautifully

Nice place, good food with a good drink in beautiful surroundings.

A very nice hotel, especially for 70 a night / pp.
The location is great, a bit outside of Maastricht (15 min / car) and easy to reach by car. You can also get into town very quickly with the in-house taxi service for 15 each way.
Only the 2 separate beds are not so ideal for a romantic hotel, as are the rather thin walls and the weak lighting in the rooms and in the bathroom.
But all in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a nice afternoon with birds of prey, goats, sheep, chickens. And also Santa Claus with horse and sleigh. Snacks and drinks.

Nice cup of coffee. But what really appealed to me was the beautiful garden. Lots of special trees such as mamoth trees (Sequoiadendron giganteum), tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipiferum), various (variegated) maple trees, oaks and old (brown) beeches, div. large pine trees, in short, worth a visit for a tree lover!

Beautiful, well-kept hotel, rustic appearance. It used to be briefly owned by King Willem II. Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Dinner in the 'ballroom' was super!

We had wonderful pampering days at Vaeshartelt. Enjoyed the hospitality, the delicious food, the house hangover and the park. We would love to come again.

Very nice and quiet location and good kitchen. Friendly service.

Nice spacious room and bathroom. A very nice location just outside of Maastricht. Perhaps a shuttle bus to Maastricht would be an option. Good breakfast and delicious food in the brasserie. All the staff were very friendly and personable! We enjoyed the stay in Vaeshartelt in a beautiful Christmas atmosphere.

Have been here more often and think this is a very nice hotel. Neat, clean, good food and everything neat and well arranged. Super staff. Very friendly!

Can't say it's good or bad, my experience is not good anyway, we bought a coupon through groupon, booked on 28/05 ok until the corona stops it, and then we have the data has changed to 11/08 now my wife is at risk patient, we went to go cycling, with the corona and the very hot weather, we tried to postpone this booking to September (hoping for less infections and less hot weather).
We get a no from the hotel, earn money quickly because they have already been paid.
I think this is below all arrow, a pity a lesson and certainly the hotel is no longer on our list!

Comfortable, quiet area and a large parking lot. Easily accessible by the position not far from the A2. Friendly help at reception and well-equipped meeting rooms.

TOFF was disappointing. Is much more to do with a lower / no entrance fee and certainly no parking fees

Christmas dinner, just like the Easter brunch, was arranged fantastically. Compliments for the service and kitchen!
