Very nice hotel great rooms good breakfast lots of choice

Beautiful location. Staff very different from friendly to untidy. Food in Brasserie is limited in choice. During stay also had noise from party in other room.
Mattresses too soft. Good for 1 time.

We went here for lunch. I think it's expensive for what you get back. The bread was dry, but the soup was tasty.

The place has character, the food is very good, the rooms are comfortable and it is a charming place. Only 4 km from Maastricht is as if you were in another remote place in the middle of the field. Charming

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. Friendly customer service. They were very accommodating when we (and our dog) arrived 5 mins before the kitchen closed, food and decor was stunning. Rooms were basic but clean.

Charming location and it's probably the only thing to remember, but absolutely nothing in French, no explanation, no TV channel, no information on the restaurant, the sanitary separated from the bed by a too thin partition, everything is heard, lunch very good but do not look out the window overlooking the courtyard because the dogs are admitted (and it is a good) they do their needs in this courtyard, .sinon, question noise from the outside, nothing s' hear what is not the case from within.Question service, for the table very well, for the rooms, the maintenance well put in order except that the towels remain unchanged, is a pity, we expected (much) better for our weekend

Beautifully refurbished country estate in a fantastic rural location.

Beautiful ambiance. There was an event (at the garden) that caused a lot of noise nuisance. This is not possible. Own TV with closed windows inaudible. Restaurant is too limited. The card is too simple. Room excellent and the estate fabulously beautiful. Breakfast normal. I'll go back again I think

What a beautiful place this is! A very relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff, wonderfully dined and enjoyed the butterfly garden, the hives, the sheep, the pond and what else there is to discover.

I have been coming to Vaeshartelt for many years and think this is a lovely hotel with beautiful spacious and clean rooms .. the hotel has recently undergone a number of positive changes such as more seating in the now 2 restaurants and bistro, a completely new and stylishly decorated bar where the A lovely terrace with a wonderful view of the rural garden. Perhaps more importantly, the hospitality remains unchanged. At the moment, under the guidance of a new chef, we are working hard to serve the guests good and tasty dishes.
The friendly staff will ensure an unforgettable stay.

We love Maastricht, so we booked a comfort room here in this dream property. The small bathroom was new and clean, as well as the room - but quite small, but a dream of the location. The breakfast was okay, could be done with more ambience. The coffee was not ours, we could alternatively drink tea, was therefore ok. There are enough parking spaces available. What has us blown away is the beautiful grounds. Too bad to stop here just to enjoy a trip to Maastricht.

We book an overnight stay with dinner every Christmas or New Year's Eve. Very nice because everything is nicely dressed up in a Christmas atmosphere. Living nativity scene with cozy tent where you can drink delicious mulled wine and hot chocolate. This year's Christmas dinner, however, is very poorly organized. Lovely outside in beautiful surroundings. There is a lot to do walking, barefoot path, butterfly garden and lounging on beanbags with beautiful views. A chic place but also child-friendly. It is also possible to order a picnic here with which you can choose your own picnic spot on the site. There is also a building that you can rent for parties, birthdays, BBQ etc. We will definitely go again !!!

Beautiful country retreat with a wonderful hotel and friendly staff

Super hotel in a beautiful setting! After having parked the car in the (free) parking place, we were kindly received at the reception for checking in. The hotel room looked clean and tidy. Room had a shower, good double bed and had a view of the garden. The center of Maastricht can be easily reached both by car and by train. Certainly a suitable location to relax and enjoy a nice walk and / or shopping in the city of Maastricht.

Well cared for and accessible free of charge, also good parking, and also a nice, walking area, many places of interest.

Incredibly great service, no problem for people with disabilities, free parking, a beautiful place for families with children, beautiful large expanses of grass in view, many attractions.ps. safely monitored, and 5 stars in particular for professional staff.

Mooie locatie, kamers niet bijzonder. Dicht bij het centrum van Maastricht (1 treinhalte) maar toch buiten de drukte van de stad.

Was in this Hotel 3 weeks ago with my friend.
We book by online and arrive there evening after 8pm n asking if hotel restaurant still open for dinner n it's still. The room was so clean, big, with LED TV in big flat screen with many program and clean big toilet n for shower. So after bring all our staff in the room n we go for dinner. I took lobster suppe as starter as I really remember that cos the taste was really so delicious, fantastic and my friend took another with salmon and he love it so much too. And the main course of mine n also my friend also was really delicious. And the next morning we have buffet breakfast with complete food n drinks and all was really super.
Very recommended for all who want to have some vacation or even for business in Maastricht. Hope can back there again one day. Really loved this Hotel so much..

The stay was really only ok. Long waiting times for ordering coffee, breakfast is common. Had much better in Holland. The staff was always friendly. The rooms are small and functional, nothing special either. The mattresses are horror. As usual, a crack in the visitor's bed and the mattress much too soft. A sink in the room, which is very unusual. The small bathroom is only separated by a sliding door. The property is very large overall and looks great too. As the renovation is in progress, the breakfast area and passage to the rooms are somewhat confusing. It is sure to be worked on. However, this does not change what seems most important to us, namely the price-performance ratio for the room and the breakfast. It may be appropriate for Maastricht. And unfortunately it didn't convince.

Nice location, unfortunately service on the terrace poor. More than an hour waited or had coffee, they came to bring cake when we went to pay. The coffee was not counted. Anyway for such a location below par.

Beautiful surroundings. Good food. Piece of abroad in your own country.

Booked with our kids through Kras. At the back an email to the location itself asking if we could get the 2 rooms next to or opposite each other so that our daughters could share a room together. This was no problem at all and arranged on arrival. Staying there was great, great location, we also had beautiful weather.
When we got home, a hug appeared to have been left behind. After a call they went to search and called back within fifteen minutes that cuddly toy had been found. A little later an email followed in which they indicated when the cuddly toy was sent by post. All in all very happy and praise to the staff.
Rooms fine, beds fine, shower a bit rickety and the glass wall was loose, making it clatter in all directions. Breakfast buffet was good, fresh. If I can still whine, I would like to have more choice for sandwiches and / or a cracker, rusk.

I think Vaesartelt is a very nice place to walk. Especially in the beautiful butterfly garden. You can sit on a bench and I enjoyed some sketches. Nature gives peace and it is a particularly beautiful place.

THE OPERATION WAS CHAOTIC, DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY DID, LONGER WAITING FOR DRINK AND THE DISHES BEFORE THEM. AN OBER (DENIS VERHEEN FURNITURE MAKER) WAS GREAT WORK AS THE ONLY KEIHARD.WE GOT EVERYTHING FOR FREE. BUT SO JAMMER THAT THIS BEAUTIFUL LOCATION IS SO RUNNING.SUKSES

Super cozy Christmas atmosphere only the golden strings in the breakfast room, were hanging too low so that I and others had to stoop. The rooms super neat and clean. The corridor to the rooms too dark (4th floor) light at bottom as missed on 3rd floor. But still very dark due to black walls. Nativity scene with animals and outside terrace was very surprising and Christmas atmosphere.

Nice place with 14.5 m bus difficult to impossible parking. Driven damage yourself !!!
Green waste bins in the green therefore pay close attention to driving backwards.
