Wonderful place to go for a family outing, relax and enjoy the beautifully landscaped ground.

Very nice park-like place to stay if you are doing Maastricht at the weekend. You can take the slow train to Maastricht CS. If you bring your e-bike this place is great. Save your high parking costs by car in the center.

It is nice to organize something here for events, both as a visitor and as an organization. Contact is friendly and smooth.

This is really a top hotel :)

There is a lot to see both inside and out

The whole hotel is decorated with art and murals

Outside you can pick fresh fruit during a nice walk along sheep and bee greenhouses

The staff is really very friendly, this is more than just a hotel

I can recommend it to everyone to stay here for a night or weekend :)

Nice . Good food. Only there was a couple with a dog that we didn't like. Also not fit in a restaurant. Later the dog was happily removed.

Mediocre service from vacuuming on arrival to flipchart paper that does not fit in holder. Beautifully situated and friendly people.

Side building is relatively low. If you are longer than 2m you cannot walk normally here.

Very nice hotel. Very neat. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Of course the location is great. Really recommended.

Regarding the hospitality industry, friendly but ignorant staff.
In the summer (of the Corona crisis) the tables outside are far too close together, putting the buffet with meat and raw fish outside in the sun is not a good idea.
I also don't like putting the pastry with whipped cream in the sun.
The staff put a part back inside, but the sun had already had its effect.
Despite the fact that I spoke to the staff about the problems, this was ignored (hence this review)
The pastry was covered with insects, this too is easy to prevent.
At the same time, the whole thing, from the gate to the table, lacks the road signs so that everyone looks for where to go.
Tip. all the cutlery and crockery I received was not clean, something can certainly be done about it.

Great place to stay and restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff and compliments to Sonny from the restaurant!

Everything was fine. Room and breakfast great. About the restaurant I can not say anything, since we ate in the city. But the restaurant was well attended in the evening.

Very nice hotel! 2 days (business) overnight. Had dinner in the bar / bistro, plenty of choice. Breakfast plenty of choice.

A beautiful estate, with fine, clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Great to spend time on the estate

Very nice location, both outside and inside. Everything in tip-top order. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. We had a delicious meal in the Ballroom, but the other eateries also looked good. Nice that there are different dinner concepts, something for everyone. The rooms are fine, with an en-suite bathroom. We would love to come back!

Words can t describe this place! An amazing property!!! Also it very dog friendly! They had a bed and a small present (treats, a ball and poop bag), which was the sweetest thing!

The food was well cared for, and the taste good. Where we were it was cold! The plastic seats also cold

Beautiful place. Beautiful buildings, magnificent terrace. The service was not very fast, but friendly :) That under control is 5 stars.

Of course we all look to the photos before we book somewhere. And yes I can tell you it looks like this in real life what a great beautiful hotel.
Thank you Vaeshartelt for the good care and thank you that it was also a wonderful stay during Corona. The staff were top notch. the food was delicious. The menu was small at the moment but really think this has to do with corona. The room was cozy, modern but sufficient for living. Maybe missing a minibar and a real double bed (without a seam) but other than that it was great. Thanks and until next time.

Beautiful rooms for dining, nice staff. And food was good, with plenty of vegetarian options.
Furthermore, a beautiful park around the chateau with cute llamas in the front garden.

However, there is a big setback; you book the room on the site that is offered with the price of 55 euros. Then we paid 105 in advance, here was another 13 euros for heritage (which I think was already in that 105) and then also another 25 euros for the dog. That's a total of 143 for a small room that looks more like a hotel along the highway than a hotel room in a chateau.
Still a pity. For such a hefty price.

The park is awesome, the hotel is nice too, but the rooms are not that great. Bed quite small, TV really tiny and poor to see from the bed and the bathroom more reminiscent of a wet room (maybe that's because We got handicapped just room without the need for it-so if you wanted to shower on the toilet sitting)

Even in corona time, this is a beautiful location. There are all kinds of options for something to drink and / or eat. On the grass or on the terrace (when they are open again. Nice location for cycling or walking.

Lovingly decorated hotel with modern, very clean rooms in Romanesque park. Great prepared breakfast buffet.

Italian market. Were what few operators. Difference between payment systems must be eliminated next year.

Nice building with a fantastic garden. Sober room at the end of the corridor with moderate WiFi. No air conditioning, but many sockets, very good. Booked a package deal through Zoweg. Included 3 course dinner. And here it goes completely wrong !! No choice, except a 3 or 4-course menu. With 4 courses, 3 per person is added. At the checkout this turns out to be 13 for two people in one go. Advertising does not help !!!! Sorry we misinterpreted it, but we did pay. A "complicated" story follows with the price of the dinner arrangement NOT being the same as on the menu. Their mistake, but we have to pay. So NO service !!

Christmas Day to eat with 5 people just like last Christmas.
last year a great brunch with everything on and on. really excellent. so this year again. But what an anti climax. Quality good but tasteless and minimal choice. This without having to fault the staff, that is perfect. But this is the last time. Too bad but this was not worth the price.

A beautiful palace turned into a hotel but keeping it's unique personality.

Fantastic Historical place. Good beds, clean, delicious full breakfast and good kitchen. Good base for Maastricht. P&R place at 5 minutes drive and for 2 euros with the bus into Maastricht. Lovely quiet inspiration place as a counterpart to a city.

The room was very nice, even the art on the wall wasn't standard, but something special. The area around Vaeshartelt is quite lovely and wonderful to take a stroll in. The only downside was eating in the brasserie. The food was nice but it More

Super nice hotel rather pricey and a shame about the old-fashioned rooms

A great and very interesting hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard. The architecture is very interesting and a mix between history and modernity.
The garden, outdoor and park area is well-kept and invites you to linger. I kept a star in reserve because I spent two days there in February 2020, so I couldn't assess the gardens optimally and the hotel was still undergoing renovation work.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very extensive.
I will be happy to book again at a later date to get a complete picture.

Been here for a quarterly meeting of work, was very pleased. Great location, the food was delicious and the meeting rooms also looked very good.

Had a high tea with a group of 19 people. Despite the limited staff, it was well organized and we were treated customer friendly. Allergies were taken into account, even if it was last-minute, and other wishes weren't bothered. During the high tea you could just walk and explore the landscape. It is fun for couples with children and families. There are also places for children to play and scramble, get all the energy out after eating and drinking.

Hidden gem, north of Maastricht, interesting history and simply a stunning stop. Check the secret garden and hitoric rooms, and fake windows

Great location within cycling distance of Maastricht center. The gatehouse was clean and fully equipped. Recommended!

I have never been to the hotel myself.
But you can make beautiful walks here.
Hotel is located in a quiet area with nature.
From this place you have a good connection to Maastricht.
10 drive and you are in the center.

Nice meeting location in a very chic castle. The meeting room was very clean and everything needed was present (drinks, cookies, beamer etc). The lunch was very tasty as well.

Poor service, the table was set antisocial, we had to wait an hour before the food arrived. Vam three times in advance to make a reservation and then you arrive and then they know nothing. Horrible
