Beautiful place! Been before, now in Christmas spirit . Very tastefully decorated. Room fine, breakfast delicious. And this time by train, Noord station is within walking distance. Enjoyed! We will come again.

Great hotel, but given the price, I would have expected something more. For example, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, you cannot make coffee or tea in your room and a mini bar is missing. Breakfast could be taken in the Secret Garden (beautiful terrace) and was well cared for: great work despite the measures around Covid!

Hotel is top in terms of location and facilities. However, the mention of "super fast WiFi" in the room descriptions is missing. Due to the large number of users, according to the girls at the information desk. A known problem, but if you can only offer a network when you cannot or hardly offer internet, then you should not mention that with so much bravery. The charged tourist tax (6 pppn) actually turned out to be a composite form of municipal tourist tax and a contribution to heritage ... Nowhere read anything that money is being collected for this purpose. A hidden tax that is levied in the denominator of the city of Maastricht, because the real tourist tax is just over 4! You may be cheating on farmers, but it is a shame that you also do so with well-meaning tourists in such a peasant way.

Charming hotel surrounded by natural space where you can stroll beautiful interior terraces and good service ... you can just go to eat or have a drink and walk from the hotel theme rooms could not comment since I did not stay in the ... but if it is like everything else I've seen, it sure has to be fine !!

A beautiful hotel, beautifully situated just outside of Maastricht and a large and beautiful park all around! But the hotel room (comfort room) was very austere. 1 Hard chair, where you couldn't sit for longer than half an hour, watch TV and read while sitting in bed. No tea or coffee facilities and too few bath towels in the bathroom. Neat and clean, but uncomfortable and briefly decorated !!! Not recommended for the room. Hotel was fine.

Nice hotel with great park, rich breakfast, close to the center, and P + R Nord, where you can park for free and for 2 per person back and forth to the center of Maastricht by bus.

Lovely staff. All equally cheerful and friendly. Everything is well organized with the COVID. Hotel is very nicely decorated and clean. Service and food were great! Environment is wonderful for walking. Definitely recommended to go to and want to come back.

Great hotel, clean, tidy, friendly service, all fine. Once in the hotel room alone nothing reminds you of a castle. The rooms are in an (ugly) extension adjacent to the castle. I had other expectations when I saw the pictures of the castle. Tip: Order for 5 euro per room breakfast, very complete and tasty!

Nice, room unfortunately very, very simple in the new building has nothing in common with the rest. Breakfast good. Parking available for free. Possibility to come to Maastricht by public transport to the city. Because in the city park almost impossible.

This hotel was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, great decor amazing room (we got the suite), great food and beautiful forest to stroll through! Already booked a night in February to come back :)

Christmas Day with family celebrated @chateau vaeshartel.
I myself am a chef and unfortunately the menu was not really top ..... I myself had done better and tastier / prepared / presented,
I also missed a host who shows you how and where everything is that is more logistically better for guests.
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way.
I always say mistakes can teach you and are human .... I am not someone who will not go I give it another chance
Can also put a whole laundry list here on how it can be improved, but they can do that themselves when they read these reviews.

Great meeting place! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great and very modern! The bathroom could have been a bit bigger ...
I can only say great about the food!
There were some problems with our conference room, but the reception was quickly and professionally cleared up.
The environment of the hotel was excellent! I would have loved to have seen the gardens in summer.

Very good hotel! Not far from Maastricht, but completely out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The scale of the hotel building is small, but it has a very large garden, as well as sheep, cows and bees, as well as a small forest area. It is really a very laid-back and beautiful environment, it is suitable for relaxing one or two nights. The room is also very new, the network speed is fast, the socket is more, and the bed is very comfortable. Especially the reception staff was very kind and made people feel at home, we had a very good night. The price is also surprisingly low. This hotel is definitely one of the best CPs I have ever lived in more than 300 restaurants around the world. It is recommended and will be the first choice next time.

Nice setting, nice rooms great food. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait more than half an hour despite agreeing on a specific time. Also one of the soap dispensers was empty

Magnificent establishment. Friendly and attentive staff. Very correct room. Top hygiene. Good internal corona management (meals, breakfast, check in, etc.). Spacious parking lot. Only "negative" point, only one French-speaking channel.

A very nice location with a nice big garden. The food is tasty and not expensive for what you would expect.

We are staying two nights. Menu last night, what can you ask for under 30 pp?
Well, that is exactly what you get.
Mind you we took the most expensive white wine on the menu and it was ab fab.
Today we got a very good service in the bar, unfortunately when we tried to get a second round we were told the terrace was closed, so no second round. We will get it elsewhere.

All in all I am either getting a grumpy old men, or they need to sharpen up a bit to survive this madness.

Beautiful castle, great breakfast, great rooms and all in a beautiful country garden.

My father had booked this stay, but was unfortunately unable to attend for personal reasons. He therefore gave the stay to me and my boyfriend, super nice such a weekend in Maastricht!
The biggest downer came when we tried to rebook the room weeks before the stay. Despite the fact that we indicated this very early, no flexibility was shown at all, booked was booked. So now we have to pass up this weekend and pay for nothing, very unfortunate ...

Modern rooms, but very small, without air conditioning and only 1 window that can be opened.
Just too hot with this warm summer.
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
Shame about the plastic chairs in the breakfast room.

The setting is very pleasant with a castle in a large park, and the restaurant is very welcoming, of good quality with attentive waiters. Breakfast is on the other hand a little more basic, and the rooms are those of a three-star, decent but rather basic with beds
double which are juxtapositions of 2 single beds

The customer service is excellent. Everyone is always friendly. Everything is always clean. The property is on a fantastic lanscape. I feel like a king in the castle.
