Beautiful location, good restaurant. Beautiful gardens

Have spent hours on tarras got the pie and 4 of the six people got their drink right away, the other two have to wait 45 minutes and have to go get it themselves.

Our stay on 28/29 May was what made the accommodation good but dinner in the evening was a mockery. Actually, I am still angry because we have taken a long time about the food, the waiting time of the starter has already lasted three quarters of an hour. We have indicated that this was taking too long for Mr. she to say that it will no longer happen.
Waited another hour for the main course then we waited 45 minutes for dessert but it did not come when we said that we are leaving and no more dessert. We had a dinner receipt for which we paid in advance and we never do Lake! We reported it to the reception and got the notification, we pass it on.

Beautiful surroundings and spacious hotel.
We went there for the end of year celebrations but I advise you to go there rather in the hot season to be able to enjoy a walk in the magnificent surrounding greenery.
Everything was perfect except for the bed which was a bit hard but I think there are different convertible tops in the rooms so don't hesitate to increase the budget a bit to enjoy this place with optimal comfort.
Special me tion have restaurant which is just unmissable and at breakfast which is worth the detour.
The staff are friendly and available which is always pleasant when enjoying a relaxed weekend.
Recommended, you will not regret it :)

Nice hotel, pleasant setting, beautiful park ideal for rest. The rooms are too small and the bedside lamp did not work. The shower gel in the bathroom was empty. Few international channels on television. The 2 boxs of the beds were tied by a plastic bag at the feet of them the breakfast does not present an immense choice either. No bar in the room or pen to write on the desk. Carpet floor.

Within cycling distance of 5 km from Maastricht. Cycle routes available at the counter without costs. Nice room with a good bed. Extensive breakfast also for people who eat low carbohydrate

Nice hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens and forest. Friendly staff. Comfort rooms basic but neat and nicely decorated. Good mattresses and pillows. Drinks in the bar at normal prices. Food in the restaurant is very tasty and the plates are beautifully decorated. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. You can go to Maastricht by bus (15 minutes walk to bus stop) for 2 day return.

Beautiful hotel incl garden. Rooms are very basic (comfort). We were disappointed given the entourage. Easy to Maastricht via P&R (approx. 1 km)

Top location! #Kasteel #Vaeshartelt has been rebuilt, I am very curious how it turned out.
So reason enough to spend a nice weekend at #Maastricht again! :-)

Our stay in Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt was quite enjoyable for a two-night stay. We arrived on a Friday and went to explore Maastricht on Saturday. We had no problem with sleeping accommodations, for food, or hygiene within the hotel and restaurant.The staff was nice and the breakfast had a rich variety of everything. It wasn't free, of course, but that is usually the case. Dogs, excluding service dogs, are not allowed. The bar has its own secluded kitchen that serves less fancy food (for people who want to have a cozy stay). The hotel is best reached by car, although the train station is within walking distance. There is a cat roaming the premises which is a delight for me (not so much for people with strong allergies). One negative point is that the hotel rooms do not have a refrigerator (with the note that the rooms are for sleeping). If you hold a conference or retreat in the hotel, as it is advertised, the tired employee surely wants a cold water on his room waiting for him.

Spend the night in a beautifully situated castle! With a beautiful garden where you can choose your place to sit. Even with children in jet here!

Very good care of the hotel, clean toilets and rooms. Good breakfast and good employees. Located about 6 kilometers from Maastricht today and is therefore easy to walk. Would recommend more people to come here if they were going to Maastricht for a few days. A real top location!

As always a wonderful stay with good service in an artistic hotel with a beautiful garden with gypsy wagons, sheep, a beekeepers' association and llamas. A unique experience and easy to combine with a visit to Maastricht, Neercanne and St Pietersberg.

Excellent hotell, stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. The rooms are a good size, warm and quiet. The grounds are good for a walk around and there are a few sculptures that too. There is a resturant and a bar there so you can get food and drinks late into the evening. There is a park and ride bus terminal a short walk away through a wooded section, this bus route takes you into the centre of Maastricht and takes about 5-10 mins and only costs 2 return. There was also a nice ginger cat at reception to welcome us

Delightful hotel with clean rooms. Good breakfast. There is a restaurant, but we did not use it. Enough restaurants in Maastricht. No kettle in the rooms and we think that's a luxury.

Great hotel. Super nice staff. Room big enough and very clean. And the breakfast is terrific.

A beautiful ambience with great park. It is expected to live in historic rooms but then very disappointed when it is in black painted corridors in the basement. A new building where you tried as many rooms in the hall to get. Sink in the entrance of the room walls black, unfortunately no closet, but a chair. Breakfast was OK for 10 euros. In 5 minutes you reach a P + R parking lot where you can go by bus for a euro in the city by bus great thing about the parking fees in Maastricht. Apart from the nan has been accused of smoking in the room although only stub has disposed of there in the trash it was for 55 euros over your deal a cheap hotel. Sorry we will not be back.

Great ambience in this castle hotel.
The staff are very hard working and friendly at the reception. The parking space is included in the price. Great channel selection in the very spacious room. A second chair and bedside table would be desirable. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and we were allowed to sit outside. Great hygiene concept.

This is the place where I met my wife 45 years ago. Then it was a run-down. Now it is a prime location where we prefer to spend a weekend once a year. A wonderful welcoming atmosphere!

Very atmospheric and not too far from the train to the center of Maastricht

We have chosen Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt as an overnight stay for a family outing in Limburg. It is close to Maastricht and Belgium and Germany are also easily accessible from here. It is a mix of classic and modern. The rooms are spacious and modern with lots of storage space and everything has a luxurious look. The bed is large and has good quality bedding (which is often different). The park with pond is beautifully landscaped and invites you to take a lovely walk.

You can dine excellently and much use is made of local products, whether or not from their own garden. The wine list also offers Limburg wine as house wine and it is definitely recommended. The breakfast buffet also has a wide choice and has something for everyone

Well-kept rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Within walking distance of the station where you can easily take the bus to the center. It is a pity that there is no fridge in the room, no air conditioning and no sifting in the windows, so there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

Ordered a large Blue D'Auvergne Salad with lettuce hearts, arugula,
caramelized pecans and plum chutney with extra three buns and butter (because that wasn't included )

Got a plate of arugula with a bit of Bleu, walnuts?!?, A Cherry tomato, 3 pieces of cucumber and some balsamic cream. No bread ... Is this a big salad?!? "I think so" said the waitress. After long ignored by the young man who brought the salad finally got his attention and asked if the bread was still coming. The salad was already half finished. He came back and threw a plate with two pieces of baguette on the table, turned around and immediately disappeared.

Had a nice cup of coffee. Lovely staff. We liked the chairs on the patio. But its not comfortable. Unfortunately.

A great hotel. We were there for the second time. Great and modern rooms and a breathtaking outdoor area. The staff is nice and accommodating. The hotel hangover "Friendly Pet" is very friendly and an integral part of the hotel scenery. We will certainly come back a third time.

Great balance between modern and retro. Location in the green. Great for relaxing, very comfortable. Terraces with views of the super park.

Beautiful hotel, lovely people, beautiful garden. Rooms somewhat austere but not expensive either.

Had an all day meeting here with colleagues. The meeting room was really pretty, with coffee and drinks and sweets and the lunch was quite alright as well. Only the dinner was really disappointing for all the vegetarians and vegans. While the omnivores got salmon and salad, steak and mashed potatoes and creme brulee, mousse au chocolat and panna cotta, the rest just had a small salad, cereal salad and small chunks of fruit with mango ice cream. Really wanted to go for some fries afterwards but the shop was closed. I don't know how they came up with that portion size but even the tiniest of us were still hungry :-/ The staff was very friendly though and the location is beautiful.

Been here many times as a lunch guest but also for events including overnight stays. Well equipped, comfortable rooms & teh food & service is excellent.
