We feel that Valley Parking is higher than necessary, but the staff's attention and response are excellent.

Paid for a suite but only received 2 rooms. Rooms didn't have telephones or room service menus
Love the JW and its ambience. Everything about this hotel brand is about class and style. As a Marriott member, nothing pleases me more than the care a company goes through to accommodate the customers
Always a fabulous and favorite place to stay in NOLA
Amazing property, well appointed rooms. Executive lounge nice and large. Staff very accommodating.
Only attended the bar. Great drinks wonderful apps.
Gorgeous rooms and amenities! The view was just incredible!!
I loved the lobby. The room was clean and decorated nicely. I wish the room was bigger.
Excellent high quality location located steps away from the French Quarter. Nice rooms. Good service. Would stay again
The beds were very nice as well as the rooms. Room keycard is required for the elevator past the 8th floor to keep unwanted guests out.
Thoroughly impressed. Stayed for a business convention and the food and service from all of the staff was incredible. Rooms were very nice. Loved the updated bathrooms. Excellent location. Couldn't imagine a better experience.
(I did not love the hard beds, or feather pillows that go flat right away, but that's personal preference so I'll quietly mention it here).
The hotel is lovely. The staff was friendly. It's within 5 min or less walk to like everything. The rooms have a "HGTV renovated" feel. I enjoyed it. I will say the pricing for parking seemed expensive. Now that is coming from someone who doesn't usually have to pay for overnight parking, so maybe I just have nothing to compare it to. That's the only reason I'd give a 4 instead of 5 stars.
Very nice hotel. Located at the heart of downtown within walking distance of many amazing places.
Everything you expect from Marriott #JWMarriotTreatment
It was a great experience staying at JW! Everyone was so nice! Sean helped me check in and he made me feel warmly welcomed as he said it was the southern hospitality. I would recommend it.
Great bar for a quick drink. Versatile spaces for events.
Great upscale hotel for enjoying the French Quarter.
Excellent location for Mardi Gras loved the dj booth outside the hotel. Was surprised that there wasn't a microwave in the room and the Wi-Fi was very expensive
It is always great arriving at a Marriott! I feel at home!
As a titanium elite member I stay at many JW MARRIOTTS. their need to work on their front desk manners and their food in the club lounge. The gym was well equipped. Overall a very nice hotel
Was there visiting a guest of the hotel. Was very clean and very quiet.
BEAUTIFUL hotel!!! The bed are too comfortable ! Awesome staff! Everyone has been extremely nice and helpfull! Night manager, MALCOLM, is the BEST! He was very friendly and HELPFUL!! Glad you have him and other staff. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff were helpful and the rooms were nice. The air conditioning was barely on for the event I attended on the 8th floor though! It was uncomfortably humid.
The place is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and helpful. The pool, fitness room and all amenities attached were closed for renovation. I wish they would have mentioned that when we booked the room. And even though we were on floor 18 we could hear drilling and hammering throughout the day. Since we didn't spend much time in the room it wasn't too intrusive. The bar area was very nice and better than average food
Great staff. Left chocolates in my room. Every one I spoke to was helpful and friendly. I've stayed in hotels where people almost always have to call a co-worker to help them answer my questions or are rude and rush you.
Beautiful property. Noticeably more upscale. Great bar with ample seating and a library vibe.
Not the newest or shiniest JW Marriott but the staff was very friendly and professional. Great location if you want to be near the French Quarter.
Pretty nice hotel, location is nice, room was a bit small, but otherwise nice. Service was good!
Thank you so much and can't wait to revisit...we love it there...love you guys and enjoy the weekend
Located right next to the French quarter, with great staff and rooms, I really enjoyed my stay. My only complaint would be the late check in time of 4pm seems odd and was unexpected.
We had a wonderful time, and the house keepers, and hotel bell boys simply amazing..
Yesssss, my girlfriend's and I would definitely go back, for it all.
Thank you all for your hospitality.
Nice hotel. Great location. Don t expect your room to be ready at check in though. I would plan on getting to the hotel at least an hour after your check in time.
Great hotel nicely placed for visiting a number if areas in New Orleans.
This hotel is beautiful. We had a relaxing two day work trip to New Orleans, and loved our stay here. They take luxury to the next level. We had beautiful views from the 29th floor.
The grab and go breakfast (due to pandemic) was just as good as the restaurant experience we usually get. The hotel staff knows what they re doing and they understand the elite member benefits without us having to ask. The check in lady was so welcoming even with us arriving at 11pm (late flight). We normally get the second tier staff at that hour, but she was top notch, and got us set up with everything we needed.
Wanted to spend a 5 day vacation with my husband in a nice hotel. Paid for a corner suite. Was woken up to drilling and construction everyday and on the weekends, which they promised would not happen and went on until 7:00pm every night. Called the manager twice but he never returned our calls. Finally talked to someone who knocked $100 off our room and sent us some wine. Incredibly disappointing experience.
Never miss an opportunity to visit with George at the lounge bar!
Nice place to stay but had to walk 2 blocks to get a Pepsi . They need to put in vending machines
Great location in the middle of all the action. Valet parking is a bit expensive. The restaurant Fogo de Chao is a unique place.
Staff goes above and beyond to help you. Room service and restaurant prices are very reasonable unlike other hotels that rake you over coals to eat in house.
The hotel is located right on canal. The parking garage is easy to access and the valets are great. I'm greatly looking forward to the new Sazerac house opening soon.
Ate at the brazilian steak restaurant there. Very good
Attended a conference at the Marriott. Everything was conveniently laid out and the events took place according to schedule.
The staff were very friendly and my room was very clean and comfortably. I will love to stay there again next time I visit NOLA.
Clean rooms and nice staff. Our AC didn't work so they moved us to a new room with ease. We really liked the executive lounge.
Very clean and centrally located. The parking was really expensive it $50 a day.
Awesome stay. Didn t want to leave. Perhaps some rooms here are, as some here have said, in need of updating, but not mine. Was perfectly modern, well appointed, downright posh, and every bit what I expect from a JWM.
Very nice hotel right near the French Quarter. Hotel's elevators are being upgraded and take a while to get up and down.
Nice hotel, good location. Only negative is that the elevators are poorly programmed.
Great views of canal street and the French. For as large as this hotel is, it's very quiet downstairs and very relaxing. The rooms were larger than expected and comfortable. In the morning the lobby gets a little popular because everybody is catching rides different places and the business folks are coming to town. The bar and restaurant downstairs were very nice and we got good service. I highly recommend JW Marriott.
Our favorite place to watch Muses on the Thursday night before Mardi Gras. You cannot beat the view or the drinks. Our only wish would be for the bar to stay open a bit later at night. We've never stayed there, but the staff and service in the lobby are always very friendly and helpful.
Decent place. Concierge was great! Bathroom is nice size but not a lot of room to unpack toiletries. Bell staff did not seem overly happy to assist us. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff friendly.
Beautiful, super close to the river walk. Within walking distance to everything!
Sorry. Never went to this hotel. I used to work at the Sheraton Hotel.
Phenomenal experience. Clean rooms, great view and location, and professional staff.
Very upscale. Prompt service. Friendly staff. The bell boy was amazing
nice place to stay. right in the middle of the french quarter. has a nice bar.
Staying here for a book convention. Great helpful staff. Allowed us to check in at 7:30 A.M. since we had just drove in from Oklahoma instead of making us wait until 3.
Great hotel, staff, location close enough, but not too close to Bourbon St. and Harrahs
