Great location and the food is amazing I enjoyed my stay
I am in town for a 3 day conference and I just paid the difference for an earlier flight to leave. The evening of day one my A/C did not cool off at all. An engineer came the next day and fixed it. Day 2 the A/C will not adjust to the room temperature so it was freezing! Day 3 I had to choose between it being freezing or scorching so I gave up and paid the difference to fly home earlier! I will be checking out of my $303.00 per night icebox/freezer at 4am and wait it out at the airport. I am scheduled to return to New Orleans in June and I can honestly say right now JW Marriott is not my first choice!
Beautiful hotel. Clean rooms. Close to anywhere you need to go in the French Quarter.
Very conveniently located at Canal street. It takes 10mins walk to Riverwalk and 5mins to the French Quarters. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. The amenities are good. The staffs are cordial.
The lobby is beautiful and service is swift and courteous from the valet to the door to check-in. The negative part is that the bed is lumpy and room isn't very updated, and the biggest downside is the room was noisy. I could hear everything happening in the hallway. Not the best value for the money.
Beautiful rooms and great views. Staff is great, friendly and accommodating.
Mobile check-in is awesome, and the hotel staff was prompt and courteous from the front desk to the bellman to the room service attendant- they were ALL incredible!
Only came here to use the pool/fitness area since our hotel down the street didn't have these amenities. Beautiful hotel, salt water pool and friendly staff. Wish we were staying here instead!
They have the AC that runs so your skin is freezing but you are sweating. Only one elevator was running and their seemed to be always a fresh puddle of urine in it. Don't park in the front by what looks to be the front entrance, go around back. Valet very slow, calling ahead like they ask you to did nothing. They said they never received it. Executive lounge should not be on the main floor where anyone can sneak in, devalues the people that paid extra or earned that privilege
Great location, very good room, good service. I've stayed at a bunch of the hotels along canal, this is one of the best
Nice with a new interior. Staff was very helpful on check in.
Well-appointed rooms felt great to come home to while in New Orleans
Beautiful hotel discretely located in downtown New Orleans
Nice hotel, great views from upper floors of the French quarter. Friendly and helpful staff. Management very responsive to issues. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Issues with external noise, hotel does provide ear plugs. Executive Lounge has a decent breakfast, it also has games and a pool table.
In walking distance of most of the sites in downtown New Orleans.
I was visiting a group of friends that went to New Orleans at the same. I didn't stay the night, but what I did see was nice and clean.
The place isn't bad to stay! The door greeters are friendly and make you feel right at home.
Great rooms and service even when you are stranded because of a hurricane.
Great location, bar, workout room and outdoor pool.
Good location with friendly staff, but the housekeeping staff, and bathrooms belong in a Super 8 in Scranton.
As an Ambassador Elite I was upgraded to the Bi-Level 2 bedroom suite on the 30/31th floor. Thank you for the great service. Amazing hotel!
Nice hotel. Not worth the price. Valet is outrageous, but then again, all of the parking is outrageous in the surrounding area.
Great place to stay, right on the edge of the French Quarter. Within walking distance to everything "French Quarter". I like it because it is close, so you can enjoy the great music, restaurants and sights and then go back to the hotel.
Great location; very close to the French Quarter. Friendly service and comfortable accommodations.
Great view of the city, clean rooms and friendly people. It's downtown so of course everything is expensive. Breakfast was $25 and parking was wasn't an additional fee. Not a cheap place at all but still nice. Slept great and was refreshed.
Absolutely horrible customer service. We booked and then cancelled within a couple days. I was billed for my stay and tried to get with Customer Service and the General Manager 10+ times with no response.
Actually getting a bad taste in my mouth just thinking about JW Marriotts. Other hotels with the same quality and better service
Very nice and clean hotel. The interior design is very well thought-out, with sufficient storage for long stays. Access to your Netflix, Hulu, YouTube accounts on the provided TV is nice to have when winding down from the day. Overall makes for a comfortable stay.
-1 star for long wait times with the elevators.
Hotel was beautiful, the staff were great and the rooms were clean! However after returning to our room late, we realized our ac wasn't working and the front desk sent someone up immediately. Unfortunately he wasn't able to fix it. But someone came up and brought us keys to a new room which was a very nice upgrade! They also gave us a voucher for breakfast in the restaurant which we did't get to use, but a couple days later I look at my bank statement and see that they refunded our room service!! Excellent customer service JW Marriott!
Stayed here for almost a week last December, during my annual birthday trip to New Orleans. The staff was excellent, friendly and also very "local." I could tell I was in New Orleans, unlike other JW Marriott properties I've stayed at, where it feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The location is perfect if you want to explore the French Quarter. Amazing views from our 30th floor room. Would absolutely stay here again, if I could afford it.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was top-notch. Highly recommend very close to a lot of things happening in New Orleans
Great service, internet TV, comfortable bed, and excellent location. The staff was considerate and courteous at all times. Check in and out was quick and painless. The view of the French Quarter was amazing. My only complaint was my sandwich in the boxed lunch came with mayo, rather than having it on the side. But despite that, this was a long my best hotel stays ever.
Really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to any friends and family. The housing was nice, the staff was accommodating and the location was in range of many to see places
Had a lovely time in New Orleans. Our hotel was fantastic!
Very close to everything. Clean rooms. Nice restaurants and staff
Love loved loved the decor ambiance the valet parking and the nice breakfasts and evening snacks. Within walking distance to many places. Overall GREAT experience. All Marriotts are not the same. This was at the top
Nice place to stay. Just a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. Attentive staff.
Next time I m back in NOLA I m staying here again. Good job guys!
Vacationed here for our honeymoon. Hotel did nothing special.... no roomservice or robes.... rooms were small but good view.
Corner suite . The nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Very classy! Staff very friendly and helpful!
Very nice room with two queen beds. Free breakfast in the morning was amazing. The location was also great and I would recommend the hotel to any visitors.
Impeccable. The service, the considerations, the uniqueness, and the comfort could not be improved. Everything just seems perfect.
New carpet needed in rooms. My carpet was shredded by bathroom door and worn throughout the room.
It seems like a nice place; the front desk was friendly
Great location; across from French Quarters. Room is clean and tidy. Concierge lounge is a bit small.
Newly remodeled, comfy beds and pillows, great customer service! Perfect location for walking to all the sites; French Quarter, Bourbon Street, French Market, and viewing the Parades. We enjoyed our stay!
The employees are very polite and helpful, the room is cozy and the views are awesome, if you have a high up room.
Just what you expect from a JW Marriott hotel. Nice rooms and friendly staff. I was here for a professional conference. We had a Continental breakfast every morning and lunch one day. All of the food was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Everything worked. Great location across Canal Street from the French Quarter. Easy walk to the Quarter.
Adam the manager was incredibly accommodating to me and my guest. The rules the restaurant staff were all top notch.
Great service, clean rooms, great work out facilities except the pool was a little gross.
Always a wonderfully place. Top notch and due to some construction the price was amazing. No noise from the work being done and not anticipate kind of inconvenience. Wonderfully stay.
The main level of the hotel is nice in a decent location not far from the Quarter and Bourbon Street. The room was nice, but a bit dated. The door wouldn't latch properly unless leaned on quite a bit. A refresh of the rooms would go a long way, especially at a JW.
Lovely atmosphere and very courteous service. Fantastic place!
Great, efficient hotel. Recently refurbished rooms. Neat feature in that you can login to your Netflix / Hulu account on the room TV. Close to the French Quarter / Bourbon Street.
Stayed at the J W Marriott recently and met Sean Prior upon our arrived. He is amazing and very hardworking. I am in the HR field and can recognize talent. He makes the face of this hotel look really good. Very good experience. Use him as the gold standard.
Very nice room, beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant. But breakfast is not included.
