Great Location!!! Need to improve the privacy between rooms.

Fairly centrally located. Easy to get to the party scene but does require a little bit of a walk.

Excellent hotel in a great location. This hotel is just blocks away from the famous Bourbon St and had easy access to taxis to get all over the city. The rooms were in great condition and the service was top notch.

Very nice. But the pool is less attractive than the Marriott across the way. All amenities are well maintained.

Hotel is located in a prime location, is clean, has ample amenities and was a major upgrade from the royal crescent which we stayed at in the first half of our trip. Very modern rooms, the air feels much cleaner and staff is very accommodating.

Grat location and very clean hotel. The process to get your name on a list for breakfast was confusing for Bonvoy members. Multiple Platinum customers were turned away because their name wasn't on the list which caused some pretty visible frustration from guests on two occasions during the same morning.

This was an amazing hotel in terms of the location at the base of the French Quarter, the room upgrade was beyond incredible (I seriously shouldn't be given such nice things) and really nice hotel staff. The only downside I have to say is that while the room it was in was nice, I found the executive club at this property to be lacking. The breakfast was rather limited, and I was a bit thrown off by the paid drinks inside. I've never seen this at any other Marriott property I've ever stayed at.

Very nice upscale place to stay when visiting the French quarter.

Rooms were fine, clean and cleaned nicely. HVAC system in our room though would clunk every 10-15 min or so. That was annoying.

For the price, the only good thing I can mention is the location. Right next to burbon street. They don't provide free WiFi and the walls were fairly thin. I keep being awoken early morning by people who had meetings. They do offer noise canceling device but who wants to wear those while they sleep? Overall the stay was okay but the cost did not coincide with what I would expect.

I had shoes sitting by the door that were stolen while housekeeping cleaned my room, and I nicely put a request to look into it the next day with name, address, number, and email and was never followed up with by any means of communication.

I am disappointed with my visit to this hotel. Interior walls seem to be paper thin because you can hear when your neighbors in the closet or shower. The biggest gripe I have is one of my electronics being stolen from my room. I contacted security in which nothing was done. Our group spend over 5k with this hotel for a big family reunion renting the banquet room while also paying for the catering.

This location was unimpressive to be honest. I noticed the room has stains on the furniture from what looks like food or sauce, the ceiling had a ton of marks from leaking water and the floor was dirty. The pool is small and the area around the pool is not really pleasant.

It felt like they had the a/c on in the hallways when it was 40 degrees out.

The people and service were great. Comolimentary water bottles, very clean. Nice tv and ammenities. Mini fridge, coffee, etc. Did not use the hotel to full extent but it was very nice

This would have been 5 stars if the ac had worked better. Other than it only getting room to 75 the stay was perfect

This is a beautiful hotel! The room was spacious and clean. They have Nespresso in the room! All staff were exceptionally friendly and the food for our conference was amazing! Would definitely return!

The rooms are nice and clean. Also you're right on Canal which puts you right in the French quarter.

Great location! Staff friendly and helpful. Concierge lounge was amazing for breakfast and lite dinners in the evening! Walked to everthing from here! Corner suite high floor room had excellent views. Very spacious and comfortable king bed.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, fabulous location and access to multiple attractions

With the exception of a concierge who was superb at multi-tasking and making people feel welcome (she was truly superb) . . . almost everything about my weekend stay was simply Average.
I can't say anything was bad, and I won't encourage others to avoid this hotel, but for me it was a "one and done", and I would not recommend. Far too many other Marriott (and non-Marriott) properties nearby that are equal or better. Did not in any way live up to the JW brand expectations i had/have.

This place is centrally located and very clean. I would stay here again.

Overcharged me. We had secured a group rate of $199/per night and I was charged $249/night.
I asked them to fix it and they said they had done it but then I look at my credit card statement and , there it was, $249/night.

Called them and was forced to leave a voicemail. No response yet.

Fogo de Chao is a great restaurant attached to the hotel

This hotel was super nice!! The bed so comfortable an the room was very clean. Will stay here again in the future.

Pricey! Crowded, New Orleans is so crowded. It's right on the main drag so the crowding is pretty tough. What a beautiful place though. I just love old settings. Jeff say enough positive stuff about The Big Easy.

Shawand Smalls helped give my family a perfect wedding day! She took care of our purses and coats, and was careful to make sure no strangers found their way in our special "immediate family only" royalty room during the reception, which helped relieve a lot of stress.

She was very kind, dedicated to serving us, making sure we had drinks (including bringing us drinks on the dance floor- she really went the extra mile!!) making sure we had water, anything we needed. Very attentive to us. Enough for me to want to sit down and actually write this review :) And the hotel had a framed photo with chamagne and glasses left for the bride and groom. I couldnt have asked for a happier experience for my sister. Thank you JW Marriot and Shawand!

Loved my weekend stay here. The lobby and rooms were nice and clean. Not too crowded, it was nice to have fogo de chao easily accessible from the hotel. The only gripe was that the downstairs bar closed too early. The location of the hotel is centrally located walking distance to Harrah's and bourbon street.

Out Outrajus for the cost of parking bellhop was very unfriendly rooms were clean

Very pricey and not all that great...... no cold water, no refrigerator/microwave, $35 parking per day, costly internet; I would think this would be included at the price paid for the room. Was a nice hotel but not for the price you have to pay. Good location

Great hotel. Right on the strip, easy walking access to everything.

There are no words for how elegant and upscale this place is! We were there for a black tie wedding. The rooms, the views, the service, the food, etc; **everything** was the royal touch. I talked to T e r r i e, and I really like her. There is also a barista that I really liked, but unfortunately, I can't remember her name because it sounded French. Also the server was so much fun at the wedding reception. The bride could not have picked a better place for this wedding. Everything was a completely regal experience for me--I actually felt like I didn't deserve SUCH special treatment. I will remember this place forever.

Great hotel but disapointing service. Requested a room change and that never happened

The pro's are the rooms are in great condition. Location is close to Bourbon street, and the evening snacks were good as well. They did lose my tax exempt form and had to fill out another one. Parkung was alittle high but giess that was expected.

Con's are as a good member I get access to the lounge. Breakfast was not that great. Compared to the Marruot across the street with the same gold status they had a much much better breakfast and dinner layout. In addition they had fresh grind coffee at the lounge. Luckily they gave me access to both Lounges.

I think next time I'll stay at the Marriott and not at JW Marriot.

This is a great hotel with a wonderful location. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are really nice.

Undergoing renovations when I was there July 2018. Hot water and noise issues. Overall ok. Not up to the Marriott standards I'm accoustomed to.

The hotel was beautiful as well as the room until I was poked by an exposed nail in the sliding bathroom door.....Also all the amenities weren't available at the time of our stay.....The pool and the fitness center were under construction and had to go to another hotel to get those amenities....I was not compensated for any of my inconveniences. I was very disappointed.

A very well located hotel on the edge of the French quarter. As usual all hotel staff was friendly and professional. We had an exceptionally attentive housekeeper. The on site full service resteraunt had great food, disappointing service. Rooms were freshly and smartly refurbished. Ice machine did not work on our floor, a relatively minor inconvenience. A convenient walkable location. Had a great visit.

Handled conference well. Some difficulty with crowd flow.

more quieter than the Marriott marquis which was what I was exactly looking for. This was my 2nd time in the city and I ecommend to eveyone to change hotel locations to catch a glimpse of another side of the city. lobby is small and location is near the finance district, overall I had a good experience.
