Excellent service staff and with the executive lounge on the 5th floor, it is very roomy and the decor is very nice and modern. The rooms are still fairly small but the bed and pillows are very comfortable! Definitely worthy of repeat stays if you want to be close to central part is the Hong Kong island.

A beautiful hotel with great service. A good choice of restaurants. A nice executive lounge. A great gym and sauna room. Convenient accessibility to metro service makes transportation easier and efficient.

Extremely clean! Staff was welcoming and accommodating - they planned well for the construction, and the lounge had great food & drink options. Also convenient for access to the MTR. The private car service was also great for trips around town and to/ from the airport.

Spacious room. Spectacular view of the water and surrounding buildings. Friendly service. Clean rooms, speakers in washroom. Elevator connected directly to a nice mall with theatre for movies.

I was on hold for 15 minutes just trying to get the cost of a suite. The room reservations line could not understand the word "suite" but also could not transfer me and instead they told me to call the same number again. Surprisingly difficult to stay here.

Long time Marriott customer. Travel 100% for work. Marriott platimum for several years. Lifetime gold, soon to be lifetime platinum. the hotel is beautiful inside and out. Classic/traditional look to the hotel - which is fine - but most importantly, it is a very clean and well kept hotel.

I stayed here for over 10 days with my wife and two kids (4 & 1) vacationing. We stayed in a corner room with two queens and a crib on the 28th floor. Room was not huge, but it wasn't tiny either. (NYC hotel rooms are tiny). There's enough walking space for two kids to jump rope. For us, because of the location, it was good to regroup, sleep, rest, shower.

Almost every room has a corner window so you always had a wide angle view of the harbor or skyline.

For a traveling family, this was perfect because of its location - MTR Admiralty station is right below - one stop from central / star ferry to Kowloon. Took us 30 minutes to get to Disney's Lantau island stop.

There's also a bus that gets you to ocean park. There is a supermarket downstairs that caters to 'American / western' travelers. Across Queensway is a mall with your local shops - including a Crystal Jade ;)

The pacific place mall creates a good barrier between the over crowded areas and the hotel. But in general, admiralty is not as busy as causeway bay station or central. Human traffic at those two stations can be overwhelming for a family with two small children.

The staff is very hospitable - we had the typical greet at the front entrance but the entire week we were there, employees always made an effort to open the doors for us, press the elevator buttons, ask us if everything is alright. I don't think there was ever an instance when a staff employee didn't speak / greet us.

Every morning we went upstairs to the 33rd floor lounge for breakfast. (I think their new lounge was still under renovation). A large western selection with an omelet station, different types of sausage, eggs, bacon, beans, variety of smoked salmon, fresh fruits, yogurt, nuts etc. (your typical Marriott lounge fair) but they also mixed in some dim sum, congee, noodles and lightly fried rice.
The nice think about the lounge was it was not sloppy like some Marriott lounges - the appearance and setup of the food was meticulously put together. Each table always had a setting and the lounge had many corners to sit in without feeling like you were in a cafeteria.
The lounge is made up of two floors with a view of the harbor.

We only spent one day at the pool. Good size pool - there was about 10 other families with kids and it didn't feel too crowded. If you wanted to do laps - that would be a problem.

My family enjoyed their time at the hotel. We'll definitely stay here the next time we visit Hong Kong.

Does it get much better? Luxury hotel in the heart of Hong Kong. Wonderful staff and comfortable, large rooms. The first night of my stay, the staff brought a fruit platter with turn down service. Lots of thought to details. With access to the Pacific Place mall, it's a great jumping point to anything you want to see/do in Hong Kong.

Really great all around. The staff are all excellent and the food offered at the lounge is better than the food I ordered from room service (not the best way to go). Overall a great experience. In a very convenient location and very clean. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! I only got to stay there one night and the room I was in was not very big, but the floor plan was really interesting and the view was beautiful. I hope I get another chance to stay here soon. The mall entrance at the bottom is confusing but cool.

For a JW Marriott, it was OK. Interior is nice. Location is ok. It's connected directly to a shopping mall.
The staff all do not speak English which is a problem as its a American owned hotel.
Missed the shuttle bus several times to HK station because the guys who open the door could not understand what we were asking.
Ordered room service. Took too long

It's a bit old, but it's recommended when you're looking for tidy management, great views, and good transport. I personally score 5 points, but for those who refer to me, the overall rating is 4 (including 4.3 ~ 4,5 if I can give it).
One thing that's bad about you is that you're treated like white, though. I heard the white explanation in front of me and asked for the same request, but the individual had to take care of it. Asians are wrong from that idea that they don't understand English properly. Should I go down to three?

Ok

Love it

The service provided is not in line with a 5 star hotel. We tried to cancel a reservation (8 nights) about 5 minutes after it was made, and were told we can not cancel. Ok, so far that's understandable.

Secondly, our flight was cancelled due to a typhoon, and we arrived 1 day later (in the early morning next day). Do you think the hotel would have made an effort and agreed to reimburse the cost of the 1st night?

I have not seen this level of penny pinching and lack of flexibility from any hotel, let alone a 5 star hotel, and this says a lot about how they value their customers. We can not recommend Marriott Queensway, there are better options elsewhere.
