Nice Xmas decorations, sunset. Got in just in time to get a parking spot. Lobby bar full though, hard to find a seat if you want a drink. Boats running. Not staying at hotel, just told by local its a place to see. Strolled shops. Got a cute Xmas ornament for someone 50% off. Yay!

A very very nice venue for events. Catering was great, they've really stepped up their game since the first time I'd come here years ago. Ballrooms arw pretty standard. All the staff was super nice ans accomodating. Hotel rooms were nice last time I'd stayed about 4 years ago, so no guarantees on that! Great experience.

Short trip from the freeway and close to all the downtown areas for eats. Nice appointments in the rooms and clean. This is one of my favorite locations in the Palm Springs area and as close to the Las Vegas style resorts you will find in the lower desert minus the gambling. It's all here. Spa, Night Club, Restaurants, Bar, Pools, and Starbucks. Beautiful lobby to hang out in the evening for drinks.

We have stayed at our fair share of Marriott hotels, this was a disappoinment. The staff and people are all great. However the rooms are really bad and outdated. For the same cost I would stay at a more updated place next time. Sad because we love the Marriott, but this was a huge disappointment.

Great place for a getaway. Beautiful Mountain views from most of the property. 2 nice golf courses. Wide selection of restaurants, shops and bars. We were here for a convention and the food and service was top notch. Large convention spaces with numerous break out rooms nearby. Multiple pools and walking trails.

Enjoyed the stay. The hotel rooms are looking a bit older. Check your bill when you leave as I was charged another night even though it was pretty paid. Called them a few times and they said they would call me back. Finally got into contact with accounts who said refund will be 4 days. And yet no refund. Difficult to deal with even though it's an expensive hotel. Would never stay JW Marriott again with my experience at this hotel. No apology or anything either for wasting my time. Easier to just apply for dispute with my credit card in the end rather than calling them again.

Very nice hotel, beautiful grounds. Service in the restaurant was fantastic, but less so at pool and housekeeping. Scheduled for room renovation in upcoming months, which will help with rooms (not that they're bad currently). Was there for a conference and facilities were spacious and well staffed. Multiple pools - which is a necessity since the main pool becomes spring break like with large crowds drinking heavily while wading in the pool. Other pools maintain peace and quiet nicely for families.

Overall, the hotel is very old. It shows what luxurious hotel style used to be. A great lobby with very outdated guest rooms. I've stayed here for a week, and found blood stain on pillow cases on first 2 rooms...might be special cases..

This place is AMAZING not just because it is a beautiful resort but the service is beyond words. From the moment you pull in, every one is so professional and it just works so seamlessly from valet to check in, to reservations..etc. They do everything so well, there is literally nothing to stress about, I look forward to coming to this place every year.

This place has the worst service. Set up the lobby bar three different days for three different times and service was awful. The staff is foreign and they don't understand how to smile and be friendly.

So my wife and i were excited to stay at our first JW. We drove from Seattle. We were greeted by bellman and he took us to our room...oh boy this is where it begins....first room had bugs and a plethora of hair in bathroom. So on to room 2. The bed was not made trash everywhere....we were like really......room three.. two daddy long legs hanging around and thick cobwebs and hair in bathroom. Finally hotel manager came to me and asked me if i wantrd to stay at Ritz carlton up the street..i said no i just want to find a clean room and go to bed... so 1half hr later room four we covered every inch of the holtel walking room to room...Got to final room checked bathroom good..no spiders good no hair good pulled back covers no hair got to the pillow and behind the pillows there were food crumbs.....we were done. So i tell you to tell uou this. No matter what hotel you go to do your do diligence and check everything....house keeping will do the minimal if any at all. So we took the invite to the Ritz Carlton and i checked everything and to liking everything was great....

Great hotel/resort. Was here for a conference for a week. We hardly left the hotel because everything was available there, they have some little shops, plenty of food options, plus a convienence store. Find Manny at the Lobby Bar, he was exceptional!

Even though the property is a little dated it has so many great things to offer from the breakfast at Rockwell, the awesome birds in the huge lobby a relaxing pool and updated gym. Great get away for any age, even bring the kids.

Stay away! Guest beware! Very disappointed in this hotels staff. The hotel itself is beautiful but watch your belongings as I had mine taken! I stayed at the JW for a golf tournament. Fort starters, the hotel was over booked. It took almost an hour and half to check in. And when we had gotten to our room, it was on the opposite side of the rest of the group and on the bottom floor in the back of the hotel. The lake smelled and the balcony was filthy. It was a horrible experience needless to say. On top of all this the golf department lost my clubs for 3 hours and gave me attitude as if it were my fault THEY miss placed them! I was pissed. Further more, once we a group or 22 were on the course at our appropriate time, the starter had messed up and over booked the course and we sat in 100+ weather for over an hour. It was miserable!!! Finally to top it all off, I left an expensive custom outfitted iPad on the desk in my room in my haste to get out of the hotel the next morning. Upon realizing this I drove 35 miles back through traffic to recover it and the room had been cleaned and no iPad turned in yet. I called for a week and was very difficult to get someone to help me recover the device. I had my company track it and someone in the Palm Springs area had used it and removed the signal application. Sad that they have employees that have no heart or character!I I was forced to pay over $868 + tax to reconfigure a new device for my business and it took almost 7 months to reconfigure a new device for my business and finally get back on tract. It was the most costly and disappointing I will never stay or Golf here again. Indian wells is much better course down the street as well as the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells or even the Embassy Suites is a better hotel and better located. I am in the hotel industry and well known and this is the last hotel I would ever recommend in this area! Hope this saves someone a nightmare experience!

The hotel decoration should consider whether the decoration cooperation company is qualified, hope to reply the unfortunate work weekend spent in the hotel on September 1, other government departments should participate in the supervision and management

Mediocre room; nothing all that impressive. The pool area is a major turn off. It looks like it's spring break for the 30+ crowd. Lots of beer cans and people walking around with red solo cups. I knew something was off when there were security guards by the entrance checking peoples bags for contraband. Is this a hotel or a rock concert?

Went to Costas nightclub for a Bachelor Party. Reserved table service for the night. We showed up an hour late, and the vip service was still accommodating and great all night. Server was attentive, our drinks were always filled. This is a great party destination.

The hotel is large and old-fashioned, but the overall feeling of old and old cannot be removed. But also like a luxury hotel the staff are friendly and well managed surroundings. In particular, the hotel has've got good kids can go on a boat in the lake.

This place is by far the worst of the worst. They dominate a huge piece of land that gets watered 3 times a day, curb grass, street watering, out of control . The parking structure is filthy. Grime dirt grease gum and the exhaust filled air follows you in the elevator. You feel like you need a shower after walking thru the covered parking area. The sprinkler water floods the cement parking areas, despite the many landscaping people cruising around in golf carts at all hours not doing much apparently. Not just a one time thing this is consistent everyday Marriott. My car got hit with a golf ball and they will absolutely not take responsibility. They asked if I found the golfer who's ball hit, they had me send pictures ! and after sending they said they don't have anything to do with golf balls hitting cars. The buildings are so tricky to get around-earthquake --dead ducks, fire --Good Luck getting out. Just my observation of the 50+ visits I was forced to endure.

Great hotel with three heated pools to 82 degrees. Remodeled just before COVID. Very few people and most of the shops are closed. Beds were really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the mold growing in the shower and the patch together remodel they did. See the pictures. The mini golf is open and free, pools, pool bar and some restaurants are open. They are also running a good deal for golfing. However the price of over $300 a night with all the closed and limited amenities is too much.

Beautiful hotel. We were staying in the villas (which are neighboring to the Marriott) I cannot say anything about the rooms, however it was a beautiful lobby, a great fitness area and the spa was beautiful. The pools looked lovely, but we did not visit them, only looked while we were walking to spa.
