Honestly, it wasn't my vacation so I can't say too much about the place. The room was clean and spacious. Service was nice and they had netflix :D the hotel exterior and interior was also really nice but it's kind of a lack of privacy because people in the lobby can see where your room is if they are looking so..dont know what to say about that. Overall, I didnt have any issues during my stay

Our room was not ready until 7:00 pm, TV in room was not powering on.. 5 calls later some just arrived to fix it. Restaurants are over-priced and poor service. Honestly... there have to be better places than this for the price. I won t be back.

I love this place. It is a great facility! I'm an SPG member and use my points a few times per summer to get away from LA for the weekend. The pool area is massive, fun, and my tiny dude loves it. The service is great and they are quick. The indoor bar is great and the onsite club is pretty fun at night if you don't want to leave. I highly recommend this place. We've made a few great memories here. If you don't want to eat on site (there are some great options), then you can go down the road to Mortons for dinner (walking distance).

The premises are awesome, with several pools and both a fun and a chill pool area, an articifial pond/river, vast amounts of green space, well-kept gardens, real life flamingos, etc. etc.! The interior of the rooms were less impressive; we were four people staying as part of a Coachella package, and considering the price (twice what I've previously paid for five star rooms), accommodation was a let down. Standard size room with not even king size beds (two to share between four), not a lot of space for four suitcases, 100 ml of complimentary water for four people staying four days, no breakfast included, some days room wasn't cleaned, etc. Perhaps it was a hectic long weekend for the hotel with lots of bookings because of the festival but we did feel they could have delivered better, also the poolside grill where we ate several times but felt the food tasted bland.

I had the best haircut by Patrick Marcheson. I have never received so many compliments on my curly hair. It finally looks healthy and with lots of volume. The serenity, hospitality and beautiful salon made it even better.

I love love this resort. Is spacious, clean, professionals are everywhere. The staff cares about the Guests, are informed, and responsive. There is a gentleness and charm about the resort. The only change would be to bring back the adult pool and lower prices on food and beverages for the young people. Drinks are pricy. A lot of people vacationing are still on budgets. Love it

Overall a very nice place to stay. Rooms are extremely far from lobby and from elevators. Ask for detailed instructions on how to get to your room. The front desk assumes you know theres only 1 elevator in the entire resort. Front desk gave kids a flamingo stuffed animal, which was nice.

Family pool was good and also had a movie at night. Parking also very far from building and no shade available.

"5 STAR" is the best and only way to describe this charming resort in the SoCal desert.. Amenities for every traveler. Golf , swimming , boat rides, spa treatment, luxury dining and much much more! JW Marriott.... Nothing compares to Marriotts 'luxury' when it comes to vacationing.

The resort is in excellent condition and has many amenities. The staff is very efficient. I had a minor maintenance item and it was fixed immediately. There is a selection of restaurants and many activities on premise.

Came here for a morning round of golf on their Palms course. Beautifully maintained course and the greens rolled true but were very slow. Pace of play was just fine, especially for a resort course. I'll definitely be back for some Social rounds with buddies.

Stayed here over a holiday weekend and were not disappointed--this place is pretty cool!

First, the rooms. We got "upgraded" to a newly-renovated room which was quite nice. Of note, I don't think we really got an "upgrade" so much as there's an entire floor closed off for renovations so they didn't have anywhere to put us, but really that's neither here nor there. The newly-updated rooms are really cool--furnishings actually look like they're from this century, which is great, doesn't have that "stuck in the 70s" feel you get a lot in the Palm Springs area. The balcony with pool view was also a nice touch.

The pool situation is great, but CROWDED. There are numerous pools (at least 4 I think) as well as hot tubs (again, at least 4, possibly more), but GET DOWN THERE EARLY IF YOU WANT TO GET CHAIRS. The chair situation is a hot mess--towels on every damn chair, no way to tell if people are ever coming back or what the hell is going on, really, and staff is not helpful at all unless you're reporting a fight or something. So if you're like us and want to post up by the pool all day you better get down there first thing in the morning or reserve a cabana ahead of time, or be prepared to go chairless or sit in the restaurant area near the pool. But one cool feature of the pool areas is that there are specific areas for adults and others for kids, so that if you're not looking to share a pool with a bunch of kids who are assuredly going to pee in the pool, you can do so.

The free boat rides around the pond in the center of the property were a cool feature, but be prepared for people to openly cut the line in front of you, and for staff to allow that and do zero to curb it--it happened to me, so it'll happen to you. My advice is get there at 4PM and get the first boat ride.

I didn't golf at all this time, but the golf facilities looked quite nice, and very sprawling. The mini golf for the kiddos is a nice touch--you don't see that everywhere.

Also of note: every bar on this property charges ABSURD amounts for cocktails--bring your own booze and save some serious cash.

Overall we had a very good but not great experience, but would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We had a lovely afternoon visiting this beautiful and family friendly resort with friends. We ate a delicious lunch at their seafood restaurant, Fisherman's Landing Bar and Grill. Great ambiance, amazing food. The shrimp scampi, the fish and chips, the cheesecake, and the mousse were among our family's favorites.

We also took a gondola tour of the resort. One enters the gondola from within the main lobby, and then is charted through glass doors to a lagoon that connects various parts of the resort. We learned the water is dyed with a natural dye to create its vibrant hue, and also that there are several species of birds and fish that call the resort their home. We were told that during weddings, the bride often makes a grand entrance arriving by gondola. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the resort and its amenities, as well as considerate of our time, asking if we had reservations or such in case we had a time commitment.

Went to this venue for a wedding and loved the lakeside ambiance. Black swans in the lake, a nice gondola ride from Mikado to the ballroom where the reception was held. Yummy dessert bar with wonderful tiramisu cups and cake pops. It was a nice place to visit and experience. They also will rent Harley motorcycles put for you to ride around town on. That beats a Hertz rental car any day! I didn't stay in any of the rooms but one of the staff member's told us that they are embarking on a 30 million dollar room renovation, so that will up the accommodation s immensely. I would visit again after rennovations are complete.

Really impressive resort, think about Vegas styled grand hotels and this is it, right in the middle of the desert. They have beautiful restaurants around the lagoon and you can also take boat tours.

I LOVE FLAMINGOS!!!! YOU SEE THEM AS SOON AS YOU TURN INTO THE RESORT........
My only regret, was as not booking Thanksgiving Day brunch. I m so disappointed in myself but we have tried other brunches at resorts and they ve been pretty disappointing but this one looked absolutely incredible. It definitely had all my favorites which included crab, shrimp, muscles and bacon.Next time we go back to stay at this place and if it s around Thanksgiving we will definitely do the brunch.
They have a beautiful pool, at this beautiful resort but unfortunately it was cold, way too cold to use the pool, at least for us. And then it also snowed on the mountains just to the east of us. It was a cold Is it in California I actually had to go buy a winter coat (like I needed one more).
There is so much to keep you entertained on this property. They have mini-golf, swimming pools, a gondola boat ride, fitness center, activities, day spa, live music, tennis courts, professional golf course and some great places to eat and drink.
We liked our room we had a balcony but we did not use it because it was too cold to sit outside and enjoy. Our view was great as we looked out on the golf course and we could also see the foothills. The beds were comfy, the shower was great, we had a coffee maker in our room and a refrigerator.

Soooo good, I WOULD go back. I think I have to send this review on to the corporate office!

********** to Jose in Security. I had to call to have them go to my room because I left personal items in the safe. My fanny pack which didn t have anything in it but I love it, My national parks pass, a small box of jewelry(Not expensive jewelry), and important papers....He and his team found them, and he personally mailed all of it back to me. Thanks for your honesty, taking time to track it down, attention to detail and especially thanks for getting back to me.

Stayed at the villas for 3 weeks. Very nice stay.
Everything was pleasant and fun except pool attendant at the main pool at the hotel was very rude
I used the pool last friday and was in the process of putting my towels by the cabana area when he rudely blocked me
The pool was almost empty and j was not planning to use the cabana
Anyways it was the rude communication that bothered me

Otherwise the experience in general was good

First time. Beautiful. Aesthetically everything was amazing. The rooms are very nice and clean. Nicely decorated especially the bathroom. Very large tub for 2 and shower. Great pool and jacuzzi. There was a separate charge for certain amenities, that was kind of lame.
