We came here for New Year's Eve. The kids were swimming because it was 75C. JW has this boat ride from inside the hotel to transport you around the grounds. Kids liked that and the mini golf included in your resort fee. The NYE party in the lobby is the main event on this occasion. Live music. Lots of people. Noisy if you are trying to sleep before midnight. Great place to celebrate.

The endless list of amenities and things to see and do on this location were breathtaking. A must see and visit if you're ever in Palm Springs. The gorgeous design from top to bottom are very inspiring.

Spectacular setting with huge water feature. Motor launches that can take you to your room from from the 5 or 6 story indoor water lobby .
Very large complex with lots to do, golf, mini golf, gigantic waterway, watch salmon being smoked outside at the water's edge. Neat collection of beautiful very colorful tropical birds help set the mood.

Wonderful family-friendly location. Unique special occasion getaway.

Older Marriott. Was famous for its flamingos outside - practically none left. Beautiful outside and inside of the lobby, with many shops, although majority belong to Marriott, I think. 3 private stores closed down several years ago. This Marriott, like other locations employ people from overseas / " internship" of sort /, while paying them minimum wages. Many from India. Marriott constantly rotating them. Obviously cheap labor. After memorial weekend and 4th of July pool is so contaminated with feces, E coli, they usually close down for several days to clean it. But you can spot celebrities time to time - older ones.

Upon arrival I think everyone can agree that the outside of the resort was really well done. The lobby was Grand with the expensive windows and the high high ceilings. Check-in was a breeze with minimal delays and we were allowed to check in early. From the valet all the way to the front desk personnel or very courteous and friendly. My only comment was that the rooms themselves needed an update although the bathrooms we're pretty nice. I think if they can change the data grooms that would complement the exterior of the Resort. Pool Area was nice and inviting. All in all I would stay here again.

A great getaway condo complex aligned with Marriott Properties. Immaculate and well maintained. Tons of swimming pools and jacuzzis! Close to hiking and biking trails. Very nice place for a Los Angeles getaway.

JW Marriott Resort is now OPEN and ready for business after a 5 month closure. The pool is open so come out and work on your tan! They have Fisherman's Landing available for lunch and dinner with lots of patio seating. Oasis Bar and Grill and Starbucks are also open as is The Palms golf course. The parrots have their own room now so go visit them! Gondolas and Mikado are still closed and the spa is undergoing a big renovation. Update as of Feb. 5th, 2021, the spa has re-opened for treatments by appointment!

The rooms are okay, they definitely need to update the rooms... 1970s ugly carpet and honestly the room looks no different than a randol motel off the freeway. That said, the view from my room is incredible! And the bathroom is very nice! This place shouldn't charge more than 200 per night as that's all it is worth, in my opinion. For one room plus valet for ONE night the bill is 621.00.

The food is expensive, but that's too be expected.

I stayed in a Griffin suite for three nights during weekdays with my family. The property was beautiful and spacious, and we enjoyed the resort.

There are several shops, restaurants, large pools, and activities on site. As I stayed here with my young son, these amenities were good enough to keep my son exploring and not bored during the stay. It is tough to go outside with young children every time they get bored, especially for hot seasons in Palm Springs, in addition to the COVID situation. So we were satisfied with the resort environments.

About their cleanness, the hotel was mostly clean. But one of the pools beside the main pool was a bit dirty since I saw many floats such as dead insects and oils. But the main center pool was clean, so we played there.

Regarding safety, every staff wore masks properly, and I had not seen a guest not wearing a mask during the stay. The social distance was well kept.

The Griffin suite was spacious and modern and seemed to be well maintained. But there was a small problem in detail. For example, the toilet door and the shower booth door interfered with each other and did not close completely. But overall, it was satisfactory.

Loved the updated room. Unfortunately the renovations are causing a bit of a bug problem. A few women in our party experienced this. But they were very gracious and accommodating in trying to fix the problem.

What a beautiful property! We got very lucky with the room. We got an upgrade ( we are elite members) , breakfast upgrade as well. We always stay at Marriott, but this property is exceptional. Had dinner at one of many restaurants, which was great. Place is full for holidays and s bit busier then I would like, but still enjoyable. The music was very loud by the pool till 11, so if you want peace, ask for the room on the other side

I Absolutely loved this hotel and it made this vacation one of my top five favorites. It has such a beautiful setting with the boats and lake, great restaurants , different types of entertainment, animals on property, golf and pools!

The lobby and resort grounds are terrific! I stayed in a standard double room that seems very dated. A little disappointed in the room as this is a JW Marriott. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Spa was clean and relaxing.

My company held our North American National Sales Summit here twice. The food and service was impeccable and many of my colleagues have returned with their families because of the superb property and amenities.
