Beautiful! Clean, comfortable resort with courteous staff. Valet parking is the way to go if you are extremely tired. It is a large place so expect to walk. In room dining was pleasant.

Great place for a conference and golf. Grounds are impeccably manacured
Outstanding attention to detail. Beautiful property. World class from employee encountered.
Amazing day with the family. Floating on the lazy river and Marshmallows St night.
3rd time staying here on vacation and it was great as always. Prickly Pear margs and pina coladas on the lazy river enough said.
This hotel/resort is absolutely fantastic!!! Beautiful grounds highlighting the serene desert mountains. Golf course is outstanding. The gym is huge and well equipped for a hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious with fantastic views of the desert. I would definately come back again and again.
of the best that there is in Arizona .... it is an excellent hotel to spend a spectacular vacation .. I love this hotel because it has beautiful views and you have the best ... very super recommended !!!
Beautiful resort, frendly staff, pool and lazy river one of the best we have been, definitely be back, love it
The room and bed were magnificent! I have stayed in many Marriotts over the years, but this one is my favorite. The decor is warm and inviting in both the room and the bathroom. The balcony with sliding glass door was a treat. As always, the staff was wonderful.
It was a beautiful venue, and hosted a nice, fundraising event for 200 to 300 people with plenty of room for vendors right outside of the ballroom where the event was held.
Great facilities and awesome service! I ve been to this hotel 3 times for a week long conference/training event and the hotel s open areas are amazing!
I was not a guest. I was just delivering a package to a guest. I'm rating my experience with short term parking and customer service from the front desk. It an unnecessary amount of time to get the front desk to accept the package and look up the guest information to deliver it to the room. When I pulled into the dropoff area at the main lobby entrance, the valet asked me to leave my keys so he could pull my car forward, if needed. When I got back to my car, they had me boxed in. There was not enough room between cars in front of and behind my car for me to leave. It ended up making me late on my other deliveries. I'm sure the experience for guests is different because they are not in a hurry to leave, but it was a terrible experience for a delivery driver like me.
I love this hotel/resort. Super clean stuff is super nice and helpful and everything is just beautiful. Everyone is accommodating and courteous grounds are beautiful excellent gym and recreation.
Terrible. Management came up me my friends who were literally doing nothing but taking pictures by a fountain and accused them of throwing golf balls, while I was eating dinner with my family. Then they kicked them off the property. They were complete jerks to them and it totally ruined my stay. Never staying here again and if you have friends in the area and you want to spend sometime with them while you re in the area DONT stay here!
Beautiful property. I do wish there were less screaming children running around the pool area but it is a family resort.
This is a nice resort with a myriad of offerings. The pool area is sprawling, with numerous levels, decks, and places to lounge. The spa area is a great secret, too. They offer fitness classes each day, but they aren't widely advertised, so class sizes are small and sometimes you are the only one! They also have a bistro over at the spa with fresh, healthy foods and smoothies/juices. And be sure to check out all the other great dining spots, too.
Beautiful facility and wonderful staff. Matt the manager was very kind and accommodating. We love visiting the JW Desert Ridge.
Beautiful giant, resort! quiet lush rooms with spacious bathroom, shops and Starbucks within..
This is one Marriott signature resort and hotel destination. This great for a mini vacation or just a short gateway. There is Golf and lazy River and other activities for kids. The Stone grill have some excellent selection of food and a good breakfast on the Menu.
As platinum member of Marriotts rewards program with over a thousand life time nights spent in Marriiotts all over the world this is a regular staycation for the family. This property has a lot of amenities and is very family friendly and very well maintained. They just don't seem very organized. It took 4 trips to the front desk to get room keys that worked. VERY BUZZARRE this seems like such a simple task that they perform on a regular basis. The staff was extremely appoljetic and offered a discount on one of our activities to make up for it.
Stunning Hotel.
Staff are extremely helpful.
We caught this resort on a quiet Thanksgiving weekend. Weather was perfect, and golf very good. NHL hockey was awesome, and several types of football also an option.
Really really nice resort hotel, way over the top for me but its a heck of an all inclusive!
I attended a brunch party in a private room at the Stone grill restaurant. The brunch buffet was delicious and the room was beautiful. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Will definitely be back
Great spacious rooms. Corteous staff. Large conferences.
Beautiful grounds, very clean. Great pool/water attractions
The food was pricey but totally worth. The room was mediocre at best but everything else made up for it. Would definitely go back
Very fancy hotel but the conference areas' and the rooms' decoration is a bit outdated.
Nice resort for conferences meetings etc. rooms could use a slight update along with banquet food to make it a real 5 star. Still, you won t be disappointed here at all.
Perfect spot to have your event. Clean. Food is great too
It's a gorgeous property and I will say the staff are attentive and it's apparent they're trying to maintain an upscale environment. Alexis in the Griffin Club is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is very well equipped. The linens and beds are very comfortable. There's lots of other little 5-star touches like your name displayed on the TV when you walk in.
We arrived late and should not have paid to upgrade into the GC however as our limited time did not allow us to take full advantage of its facilities. It's very nice and I was excited to check it out but looking back I should've passed.
Our room had a balcony overlooking the lawn and pool area however a stinging insect nest was obviously nearby (wing two level four) and we couldn't enjoy it at all which was disappointing. I requested luggage assistance and 20 minutes later with no sign of anyone I lugged everything out myself to the parking area.
Overall my verdict is stay for two days at least in order to fully explore the grounds. We arrived later than we anticipated and it was over in a flash without us being able to really experience anything and while definitely a gorgeous property overall some aspects did not leave me feeling "wow'd" like I was expecting.
Had a wonderful room with a view of what they call the "Isle of Capri", along with part of one of the golf courses and some mountains in the background. The staff here is remarkable, have been helpful and courteous, ensuring all our needs were attended to. Restaurant and bar options are plentiful and are of top notch quality. Would love to stay here again in the future.
The management and the security here are despicable. On the1st night of an 8 day stay, 2 of our bags were stolen from our room. A hotel video is proof that all of our bags were on a luggage cart that was taken to our room. After tipping the bellman, we went downstairs for some dinner with our children. When we returned, two of bags were missing. A police report was filed, and security told us that there would be an investigation. We waiting patiently, confident that proof that the luggage had been delivered to the room, would result in some compensation for loss of our camera, chargers, iPad for us, smaller iPads for our children, etc. Meanwhile, we did not receive an apology, an offer of dinner, or any other compensation for the theft that occurred. Instead, the hotel waited until we checked out to let us know that they would not accept responsibility for our losses. Think before you stay at this property. What happened to us, could happen to you!
Amazing hotel, with awesome views and amenities, including the spectacular pool area with a lazy river.
This place is very upscale. The staff go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and welcomed. We were there for a week and they took the time to learn our tendencies and our names. The golf was great. We got the opportunity to play on both courses. I would most definitely recommend this place!
I am taking pickleball lessons. The instructors are so nice and patient. They do a great job.
Beautiful resort. Friendly people. Confusing to navigate around
Roys was outrageously expensive for just mediocre food.
It was the best time ever! The staff and everything was perfect!
Beautiful atmosphere. Comfort style and great customer care
Very elegant place with beautiful courtyards throughout the resort
We stayed here while visiting from North Dakota! The rooms are very spacious. All the staff was extremely friendly and so helpful.
Do not let them put you in a room off the main lobby. It's so loud till about midnight Room was facing the roof of the lobby on the other end. They do not take care of thier members with status...
Stayed for a conference. Very nice hotel, good selection of food, bars, restaurants on premises and close to High Street and a big mall.
Would stay here again for any reason!
3 bedroom suite. Relaxed at pool and had drinks at lobby bar.
Excellent resort with great service and nice rooms...amenities like restaurants and entertainment where awesome...coming back again
Fantastic location with a lot to do around. You can spend your whole day at the resort and enjoy the lazy river, restaurants, or football on your bigscreen tv. Or you can go out on the town.
This place was simply amazing. The staff were all wonderful, greeting you everywhere. The beds were amazing and the toiletries were high end. The restaurants were delicious as well. But my favorite part was the Griffin Lounge. Alison and Beth and everyone else were so impressive. They remembered our names for the entire trip ( 7 days) and greeted us by name. Wonderful perks and amenities in the lounge. The Spa area was incredible and I spent 6 days at the private pool. Well worth it. I loved this place!
We had a great time having drinks by the pool and floating along the lazy river. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were nice we would definitely stay again!
Good for meetings staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean.
Was here for a conference. The conference center is large and well equiped. At no time did it feel over-crowded or confined.
The staff walking around were also very friendly and helpful
Great service, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was cooked perfectly , great flavors!
Friendly staff. Beautiful accommodations. Love the pools!
Beautiful facility, rooms are spacious and clean. Great place for a conference. The gardens surrounding resort are a unique and special retreat.
Beautiful resort, convenient to shopping. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!
We had a great stay. Most employees were bend over backwards nice. After We checked in and got to our room, we called down and asked for a larger room and they upgraded us for free to an exrcutive suite which was incredible. We will definitely stay here again, we loved the pools, and the restaurants. Super highly recommended!
The room was great and the grounds were beautiful, but the service there left much to be desired.
The room was requested hypoallergenic (No feather pillows). This wasn't done and pushed back check-in by about an hour.
After check-in, we find that they just tossed the feather pillows into the closet, in lieu of removing them from the room. We ended up setting them in the hall and letting house keeping retrieve them.
I'm not sure if this upset house keeping, but the next day they decided to place mildew bedding on the bed. House keeping came again and stated that nothing was wrong until we asked them to lean down and smell the bed... After standing up with a look of disgust, she apologized and quickly had the bed turned down and remade.
The third day house keeping decided to show up at 4:30pm as my spouse was in the shower getting ready for dinner. I explained that we'll be gone soon and she replied "my shift is almost over, so I won't be back"... no one came back...
Beyond this, there were several billing issues and although the manager corrected them and we comped a night, I wouldn't feel right suggesting any friends visit.
Service and rooms are more reminescent of a 3-4 star hotel. Rooms are dated.
AWESOME
Simply AWESOME
Very nice resort, great for events or staying outside metro srea
Nice place. Some of the staff was a little less than pleasant when helping. Lovely grounds. Don't understand why they spend so much time and wasting so many precious resources growing things like grass and birch trees in places where they aren't natural. Yes, I understand on the golf course, but otherwise...not so sure. The rooms were not as nice as they should have been for the price.
The staff at this marriot are exceptional!
The bartender from last night, the man at the pool bar, and the staff at the restaurant were all very gracious and nice to the kids as well.
The hotel is very nice! The rooms are cleans.
Wow exceptional service.
This is an excellent Marriott property. Beautiful grounds and pool area.
