Food is great service is terrible with 18% service charges
Gotta be one of the best views in Miami, so beautiful, 9th story, views in all directions. Service, fantastic. Did the brunch prix fix, great deal, stayed for 3 hours. Apps okay (avocado toast and shrimp ceviche). Branzino solid, quiche okay. Desserts killed it (chocolate and lemon). Must go
Great atmosphere, great food and chic. A must when visiting Miami
Nice location on a rooftop overlooking Miami Beach. Food was ok. Nothing I couldn't get at a dozen other places. High priced. Made it difficult to enjoy because of the group of smokers puffing in my face. Thought smoking was not allowed in a restaurant. Wait staff couldn't be bothered to deal with it. Had to cut the night short.
Expensive, nice view, minimalist food, hot girls , terrible parking
Don t know what to say.... the only positiv thing about this Restaurant is the view, when you can get a table outside. I reserved a table for outside and when we came they said they don t guarantee outside tables and don t reserve them. They seated us inside, where the atmosphere was cold. After discussion they offered us a table outside which was reserved from someone else. I don t understood why others particularly can reserve a table outside and me not.
They took long to take my order, however the presentation was good but not the taste. For this price you can eat somewhere else. The food was not good at all for this price. I paid just for food 400$ for 4 persons and it was horrible. The taste was bad and the waiters never asked me how I liked the food and never asked me for drinks. At the end I went out thirsty and very unsatisfied. Better go somewhere else.
Consistently outstanding! Impresses all clients and friends. Food, customer service and the view all combine = exceptional,
Mediocre and overpriced food. Some clients insist to go to Juvia, so I've been here several times. The view it's definitely great and the ambience isn't bad, it's nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to watch Miami money spenders. This place has it. What it doesn't have is food worth spending a pretty penny on. My recommendation, go for a drink and take off.
Took out of town guests to Juvia and during dinner a giant cockaroach jumped off the table behind us on to ours. I heard "look out" and there it was -a GIANT COCKAROACH about to jump ..Manager's response - "its Florida and it has been raining" . what???? Juvia is super expensive and charges a $50 cancelation fee if you cant make your reservation. But the manager thinks roaches are ok??? If you can see 1 roach, probably means there are 1,000 ..SO disgusting and embarrassing. Bad enough to get ripped off with over-priced food and drinks, but to have a cockaroach jump at you in the middle of dinner is gross and inexcusable. Certainly shows the place is a fraud and dirty, at that .
Food under delivered, especially for the price. Drinks were good, ambiance was good, food was average. We were told that the 18% service charge doesn't make it into the hands of the servers, so we ended up tipping an additional 20% on top, which made for an expensive average meal. So now we're wondering if we were misled by our server or if the restaurant is one of many accused of this practice. Neither is a particularly good case. UPDATE: the restaurant called to apologize and refunded the additional tip. Much appreciated.
Wonderful. Food excellent, service idem, scenery wonderful
The view is exceptional. You have to go there to eat in the evening it is an obligation when you are on Miami beach !!!!
Ugh. This resto is much look a SoBe model -- gorgeous on the outside yet lacking on the inside.
Yes, Juvia is precisely what I wish my home looked like -- California modern cool with sweeping city views. The ambience alone is 5 stars.
But then there's the food. Eesh. Sadly, my Lettuce Wedge salad was dry, the short rib was burnt to a crisp and the chicken was also overcooked. And this breaks my heart because MY GOD IS THIS PLACE GORGEOUS.
The upside? Order up the mango gelato with a hint of rum served in shot glasses. Quaff enough to get a buzz and forget dinner all together.
Awesome views, very good food but so-so service and, for the love of God, $72 for a bottle of wine (cheapest on the list) that retails for less than $20?
Really enjoyed dining here. Friendly and warm atmosphere. The food is delicious and filling. I want to specifically mention the service as well. We came here with my grandparents and the staff was very attentive and accommodating to them.
Fantastic terrace on the ninth floor of a building on Lincoln Road. To visit absolutely in the evening to enjoy a view of Miami at night. You can dine or just have a drink. Prices are a little higher than normal.
Amazing service, great atmosphere with an magnificent view!
I don t mind paying for a good food and service but my experience at this place was not very good at all. Too pricy and the food was ok for me. The only thing I enjoyed the most was the view.
The food was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. The service was attentive and excellent. I will go back there the next time I m in South Beach.
Amazing views of Miami Beach combined with great food, fresh ingredient and creative dishes. Make Reservations to avoid long waiting.
Good treatment and food I recommend it goes from maeravilla
Over priced food-but you pay for the beautiful view of South Beach.
Great service, delicious food, and spunky cocktails! Try the rubber ducky cocktails. I felt with this cocktail my inner child was released:). It went really with Rubber duckies swimming in the found at the center of the whole outdoor restaurant. Lighting for pictures was not the best. The food was just mouthwatering delicious!
Went for the view and drinks. The music was classic house lounge and flowed with the vibe.
View is great at this place! That is where it stops, food is mediocre at best and over priced. The staff is incredibly rude all the way around. Charged $10 for a bottle of spring water, brought us five of them without asking. Advice would be to go to the bar have a drink, and enjoy the view.
The view is amazing, it's located by the Alton road at the rooftop and it has parking. It's quite pricey, but unique dining experience. They also serve brunch on weekends.
Pros: the view and the service are great.
Cons: way overpriced. My wife halibut was so salty, we returned it. Small plates, not so fresh food. In the same manner, the wine list is not that great and prices are ridiculous.
Food: Amazing, get ready to try some new flavors and mixes.
Music: 10/10, the resident DJs are absolute beasts in the best sense of the word, they know what are they doing and you will find yourself moving the head side to side while you eat.
Service: Another 10/10, everyone is as polite as friendly and they will not deviate their attention from you. Also, the security staff, to vary, are super friendly.
Location: What can I say? Lincoln Road, nothing to add.
View: This is one of the selling points of Juvia, the view is just amazing, you can score a very romantic date in here.
Tips: If you liked the music ask the DJ for a CD, he is always in stock with those.
Worst service ever the server gustavo.r was unprofessional and rude the food doesn't worth the money .you can eat better at Versailles restaurant better food and service the only thing that restaurant JUVIA have is the views that's it all the rest service and food terrible AVOID that place go to locura marina way better
Service and views are great but the food is mediocre at best.
Horrible customer service. We were treated terribly. We couldn t even get a table just because we didn t want to eat. They sent us to the bar top with no chairs. Cheap view , overpriced and terrible customer service.
The newest must-go dinning spot in Miami. The views from the penthouse of the trippy 1111 building are stunning, while the Asian-French-Latin fusion fare is creative and delicious. Hopefully the iron out the few kinks in service, because this place has all the makings of being truly special.
One of the best Dinner experiences I had so far. The rooftop view of south beach at night is amazing. The DJ played nice chill EDM music. The ambience is romantic and perfect for a date. For appetizers, we had Wagyu Beef Gyoza which was the best appetizer I ve. The meat was tender and flavorful. I had the Korean Marinated Ribs as the main course which was delicious, but could of been more. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were amazing. For Dessert we had Tres Leches with some gold flakes, which was also delicious and very cool to see and eat gold flakes. Overall I look forward to coming here again and enjoy a fine dinner experience
Cool vibe here. Good food, creative mixologist cocktails, unsurpassed views of Miami Beach! Super-pricey but definitely pop-in for a visit and a drink!
Food is really good, the view and the ambiance are amazing and compensate the price. Tip: book and be ready for delays. They never sit you immediately pushing for consumptions at the bar for at least 30min
Cocktails are very well set, the tuna tartare was fine. More quiet and chic than ocean drive restaurants.
Amazing views of south beach! Very trendy and romantic, for drinks or dinner
You clearly pay (dearly) for the views and little else. We went for Sat brunch which is a cool $50 per person before mandatory tip of 18% and tax of 9%. So it's buffet style and a mid-range Marriott would be proud of it. Go for a drink, take your pictures and leave.
Beautiful place with nice views over Miami Beach. Prizy but worth it
Excellent views and food right on South Beach, its going to cost a pretty penny but totally worth the experience and vibes that you get from being on a roof top restaurant/bar.
View is fantastic but overpriced and staff is overwhelming.
My group dined here this past Sunday and it was the best experience we had in South Beach. The atmosphere was wonderful; full bar and restaurant with lots of beautiful people and energy. The service was EXCELLENT and the food was spectacular. I mostly ate seafood (oysters, ceviche, salmon and praws) which was clean and delicious. My husband said his meal may have been the best he's ever had. *Tip, ask the waiter if they are serving anything that's not on the menu. He was given a dish that is only made 3 times a night because the lack of quantity. What more could you ask for in an overall dining experience?
Very good location and panoramic view of Miami Beach. Very correct food.
Gourmet food and one of the best views of South Beach. (The town, not the beach itself.)
Great food and ambiance but very over priced.
80$ for a 20$ bottle of wine is one thing but the upcharge on a bottle of water to 10$ is a bit much.
2 people with one bottle of wine shared appetizer, one main each (lower on menu) and desert. 320$
A great view of Lincoln Road, a very fresh environment, first-class care lives up to this necessary place. The food formidable!
It is a good restaurant with a wonderful view, with very good food and attention. It is very expensive.
The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that it has a nice view. Other than that the service is incredibly poor. The bartenders are rude and dismissive. The food is mediocre and I think that is too kind. Both food and drinks are overpriced. So in short if you feel like spending a lot of money while eating mediocre food and being served (or in this case not being served) by ruder servers then by all means go to Juvia. If not then please visit one of the other great restaurants that Miami has to offer.
If I could give them a 0 I would. The waiters treated me and my friends rudely. I ordered a salad and it took 40 minutes until I got served, while other customers were served immediately. The waiters and who I m guessing was the manager where constantly looking at us and pressuring us to leave. I was in the middle of eating my salad when the waiter gave us the check without even asking us or letting us finish the food. I wouldn t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. There are so many cool, beautiful roof tops in Miami with good customer service, do yourselfs a favor and DO NOT GO HERE.
The place is really beautiful with its view over the city and so is the food. Our dishes were truly refined and balanced to perfection. They have French, Asian and Peruvian influences, with renowned french chef Laurent Cantinaux as well as Chef Sunny Oh from Nobu. Cocktails and wine were great and so was the service during our diner. However the staff at the entrance gives attitude, condescending and not arranging. Service got nice only once we (finally) got our table for diner. The place is also very pricy. When you spend that much on a diner you're expecting to be much better welcomed. So, be patient and make sure you're sitting down when the bill comes!
Very nice view of south beach, beautiful terrace for drinks, excellent food.
Amazing view overlooking South Beach. The night seen is breath taking. The spicy tuna crispy rice app was not that great. However, the Pan Seared Duck and the Korean Marinated Short Rib were impeccable! The staff are friendly. A must visit - even just for the view.
Wonderful view over Miami. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Priced higher
Exceeded expectations! Before reserving a table for their set brunch menu I was very apprehensive reading over the reviews about lack of service and quality of food. We arrived at 11:30am on Saturday for brunch and were greeted by two very friendly hostesses who sat us at our table with a stunning view! The server immediately came over, greeted us, and we made our selections with some recommendations of the server. We opted for bottomless mimosas. I also opted for the salad as an appetizer, salmon eggs Benedict for breakfast (which was very delicious) and finished with dessert. All of the food was fresh, delicious, and filling. At no time did we feel rushed to leave. We actually had to ask for the check which I appreciated as I didn't feel like we were being thrown out after we ate even though we did leave after we finished dessert. The bottomless mimosas also kept coming and we didn't have to ask for more as the refills were plentiful. We are planning our next trip back already! The pricing was expensive but justified for the food, service, and atmosphere.
Amazing place! My husband and I were treated amazingly by Sara at the front and our server Lara. They accommodated us from an outside table with an amazing view but too windy for my taste to one inside with an equally beautiful view. I know theres reviews listing prices as high or whatever but honestly it isn t. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. Not to mention the service! Definitely coming here more often! Major congrats on your staffing!
We ate here twice while in Miami this past week - once for Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas, and the other time on Wednesday for their Sunset Dinner. Both times were an outstanding experience.
It s a very trendy rooftop with fun drinks, attentive staff and amazing food! We had Darko as our server both times and he was very friendly and very on-point with when we came by. He kept a mimosa in front of us at all times on Sunday for bottomless bubbles (we didn t even have to order another which was nice). Big thanks to Darko!!
The food here actually blew us away. The chefs here are top notch and if you are ever in doubt, get the octopus appetizer!! It was SO. GOOD. T
The drinks are really fun, too. I got the Duckin Bag (which is a pear drink, literally in a pouch like a Capri sun, with a rubber duck in it), and the Glamour (raspberry drink and is HUGE and really elaborately topped - look at the photo - who puts a flower in ice and tops a drink with it?! So cool).
It s super trendy and insta-worthy with a DJ playing great music, great decor and a big pool with huge rubber ducks in it that light up at night. Plus, the VIEW! Such a great place - the food, drinks, environment and service make this place a must-go while in Miami Beach.
Although pricey the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the waitresses and more than happy to comply with any request. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, including the view was phenominal. Easily $60/person though.
An incredible place, very high-end and refined tastes, a little expensive reserved for special occasions, but an incredible option for the city for a wonderful dinner and accompanied by the best food
Great rooftop in Miami. Awesome cocktails, good food. A bit costly...
Amazing views, amazing interior and atmosphere. The prices are high. Food is very good. Music is great. Overall, a great place if you re fine with spending $70-100+$ per person.
A couple hints: the biggest oysters are meh and ceviche with fruit was also disappointing.
It is a French chef who is behind the stove. Beyond the beautiful context that offers Rooftop (ideal for taking great pictures and thus feed his account instagram), we spent a couple couples delicious in every sense of the word: breathtaking views of Miami by night, innovative cocktails , lamb and risotto are to die for, with generous proportions. What happiness!
All excellent, I only suggest more portion EE protein to the dishes
Food, drinks, everything was really bad. It's low class even though pretty expensive. Bouncers think they're running a strip club. We got seated at a great table with a view but drinks were bad, crowd was mixed. We ended up leaving after drinks and appetizers. Nice view though.
Awesome views. Party place. Food just okay. Very crowded.
The service is very good. The food and coffee were good as well. Their are no substitution at all even if you can't eat something. Mixed drinks were ok but not to the level of service that the restaurant provides.
The views are amazing. This is worth checking out and I will go back.
