I Went in to buy a 16yr old RAV4 that was advertised for my son. The sales person quoted me a ridiculously high price that didn't make sense. No integrity. They lost what could have been a good future relationship as my wife would be needing a car soon. I don't recommend this dealership.

After having my Chrystler 200 breakdown on me, on mulitple occasions, I decided to buy a new car. I decided to get a Toyota because of their reliability, safety features, and longevity. The service team at Johnstons Toyota was phenomenal, especially Brian Ruperti. He went above and beyond, and I couldn't be any happier with the detailed service and personal attention I received throughout the whole process. Thank You! Johnstons Toyota for my 2018 RAV4 and Thank You! Brian for the wonderful service.

I've been a fan of Johnston's Toyota since 2005 and recently made the decision to lease again. This time a 2020 Camry. With the expertise of Danny Aurora and CJ Cabral, I am more than happy with the Camry. It comes with Sirius Radio which is fabulous and all service is now prepaid so I don't have to worry.

I turned in my 2018 leader Camry and leased another one. With their new lease customer program, everything was easy and payments are manageable.

As mentioned, I've enjoyed Toyota cars since 2005 and this dealership is wonderful. People are friendly, not pushy. Salespeople listen to your needs and keep you in budget. There is no pressure and when you sit in your new car for the first time, they are so helpful with the instrument panel.

I definitely recommend Johnston's Toyota. I enjoyed working with CJ Cabral in sales, very informative person. Enjoyed working with Danny in Leasing. Very helpful and knowledgable. Both men had lots of patience and I am grateful to them.

I bought a new 2017 4Runner from Johnstons in May 2017. It was my first time buying a car by myself. I worked with Greg and Lynn. Both of them were extremely professional and helpful. Neither of them hounded me with emails or phone calls. I did not feel cheated and I think I got a decent price. Probably could have haggled a few $100 but to me it wasn't worth it. Both Lynn and Greg were very accommodating. The only negative thing I have to say is about the management. I've been a USAA member for over 15 years and went through their buying service to by the car. Johnstons did not honor the form of payment USAA uses with their buying service dealerships. In fact one of the managers was extremely rude to the USAA rep and I almost didn't buy from Johnstons because of it. I understand the policy and why the owner and management do not except the form but if they want to receive USAA member business I would encourage them to revisit this disparity in their policy. With that said, the people I interacted with directly were extremely helpful. Even after the sale Greg went above and beyond to help me get things I forgot in my trade in. Highly recommend working with Lynn and Greg!

My sales associate Brian Ruperti is extremely knowledgeable , treats you with respect and shows you all options available for your situation . Always a pleasure doing business with Johnstons Toyota. I have been doing business with Johnstons Toyota for over six years and will always continue to do so because of their friendly customer service.

Take care of your customers! This is not how you do business!

For starters, This dealership doesn t even deserve 1 star, but I didn t have a choice. I bought a 2021 Toyota Tundra on Jan 8th with 2 miles. Picked up the truck and it had 16 miles on Jan 11th. On the day I picked up the truck to take it home it had a bad vibration. I brought it back on Jan 18th to have the vibration fix since it was due to tire balance. On Jan 19th I went to pick up my truck and the truck still had the same vibration problem that it came in with. I ended up leaving the truck once again for them to find the problem. The next day I received a phone call from the Dealership stating that the vibration was due to the factory lift kit that was put on before I bought the truck. Then they want to tell me it was not the lift kit, it was the tires. So, I tell them why put things on the truck and sell it if it s not going to ride smooth. After all this I keep on getting the runaround! It just gets better! On Jan 21st I get a call to let me know that my truck got vandalized. Only My Truck!!! So many other vehicles there and only mine gets broken into. My truck ended up with a shattered window, front 2 seats got stolen and other damages. I go there personally to speak to a manager. I was able to speak with Paul the Sales Manager and he just simply tells me there is nothing they can do about it. Not only that but he wants me to put a claim under my insurance since that s the reason why I pay for car insurance according to Paul. Although it happened in their property they do not want to be responsible for any of the damage nor give me a new truck. All this happened in their parking lot, on THEIR PROPERTY, but yet wants me to put a claim on my insurance. This dealership is not professional at all and their higher ups sure does not know how to treat or talk to their customers on a professional level. Paul, did not have a single answer to any of my questions that were asked. He just rude and not professional at all. He is supposedly under the dealership s owners rank and doesn t know how to handle this kind of situation. All I got from him was a I don t care attitude! Do you guys a favor and DO NOT waste your time or your money at this dealership. I would never recommend this place anyone. Johnstons Toyota in Middletown, NY are the worst! Now they don t want to answer my calls and even the seller Kristen blocked. I will never go back nor buy parts or anything!

Everything was set up and ready to go when got there to pick up my new vehicle. Which was critical for my transition to my new area to move into.

Please do yourself a favor stay away from there service department.
Went there for a minor issue with my car door was told the parts isn't in stock they will call to reschedule appointment (was waiting over 2 hours) never got a phone call back so I called back 5 times to reschedule and I asked them in will need a loaner. When I got there for my appointment I was told the rep never reserved my loaner.

If you would like to spend your time in a waiting room this is the perfect place to go

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. My father bought a certified pre-owned 2020 RAV4. He s only had the vehicle a few weeks, so no issues yet, but his attempts at contacting the salesman after purchase is completely unsuccessful. It s very obvious they re all about the sales, no customer service AT ALL. I ve sat in on his attempts to contact multiple people and it s obvious he s being ghosted. Cmon guys.

The staff involved with getting me into my very first SUV were all superb!
They all knew their individual jobs verbatim which, gave me confidence that I was in the right place for such a purchase.
Andy was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the application process and helping me getting to know my new vehicle. He exhibited, great attentiveness and patience throughout.
Paul was also very courteous and a great overseer of all that I needed enabling me to feel welcomed and important.
Dave knew his stuff completely and again gave me a feeling of ease. His knowledge and friendliness while handling my specific needs did not go unnoticed.
I would highly recommend people due to my amazing experience here today!

Our family has been doing business with Johnstons Toyota for 30 years. The service we have received has never been anything less than exceptional. I've since moved away from Orange County, but I always come back to the area when I'm shopping for a new vehicle. Brian Ruperti was extremely knowledgable, professional, and courteous. He was patient with our questions, and took the time to explain all of the new safety features and how they worked (which I really appreciated). All the paperwork was smooth as silk, despite it being an out of state lease. All in all, could not be happier with the experience!!

He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He was able to answer every question I had. The whole process was easy! I went in for a test drive and drove home in my new vehicle that same day! I would refer anyone to purchase their vehicles from Johnstons.

The sales staff are great. They take care of the customer and do get the best price. It's the finance section that hurts the rating here. The finance staff asks questions that should be done by paper, and runs credit reports without asking for permission. I would only come here if paying cash.

Went in to get an estimate on a trade as a repeat customer, I was given $1,000 less than other competition, I was then offered a negotiated price for the new vehicle. Apparently it was the only price offered, I was not offered the opportunity to bargain, once I said no, the salesman quickly closed his book and the escorted me out. I guess he already made his quota and didn't want my business

This is the best dealership I have ever done business with. I have purchased two minivans here and also have my car serviced here. The dealership is professional, clean and they take care of you in a timely manner.

Blair Schiesser is amazing. He is the one who always takes care of me when I service my car. He is very polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He always keeps me informed as to how long the service call will take. When something unexpected comes up, he lets me know quickly and explains everything thoroughly so that I can make an informed decision.

I have a Toyota dealership much closer to me but the service I receive here is so excellent, that I feel it s worth the 40 minute drive. I wouldn t consider going anywhere else.

With my lease due, I knew I was going to sign with Johnstons Toyota again because of their overall amazing assistance and pure concern of their clients safety and satisfaction. Salesman, Danny Aurora. has always gone above and beyond for my family in making sure we find the perfect vehicle for our interest and needs. On Black Friday I walked in not knowing at all which SUV I was going to lease however, Danny addressed my concerns, weighed my options and I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice in the Rav4. Additionally, with the huge help of Steve J and David V, I was able to walk out that day with my new lease. I will continue to always share my great experience and will never hesitate to recommend Danny and Johnston Toyota!

Awesome service! Special thanks to Lynn Desmond who really helped me to get out of a dragonic contract I had with another dealer. He was able to reduce my APR from 18.5% to 6%! And he got me a new Highlander for a great price. CJ Cabral also did a great job on getting the best option for us. My wife also bought her Camry over there and we are so happy with our new vehicles. I definitely recommend.

We found a car that I loved and after some talking with his manager we got an excellent deal on a car that I knew I would keep for a long time. Pleasant and smooth experience, I was able to pick up my first ever brand new car the next day! Thanks Manny and everyone else that contributed. Oh man. Where do I even start. First of all I want...

Oh man. Where do I even start. First of all I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but man I should of never done that. I took my car in for a recall and they did the bare minimum. They decided not to change all the parts because it wasn t warranted. Whoever made that poor poor life decision screwed me over. I paid almost 500$ to get the top of my engine done with the recall so hey 500$ for a new engine solid!!! Fast forward a year and half later and 40,000 miles. Well my engine is still burning oil andddd a piston barren blew. Weird! 40,000 and a rebuilt engine it should last at least 100,000. This is crazy! I called for them to come pick it up and fix it and they refuse to do so. A piston bearing breaks because it is over worked because it s going through oil. I had this fixed. I had my engine rebuilt and you re telling me it s my fault..... mmm nah I don t think so. Pick up my car and look at it for free and when you realizes it s your fault fix the issue you were supposed to fix a year and half ago but we re too lazy to do so. The sad part it was a recall!!! Toyota pays for it!! All they pay for is labor and oh man asking wayyyyy to much to do a solid job. So they want me to pay to get it towed to them after I already had it towed. Pay for a diagnostic test an hour or two and even if it s their fault it broke pay for it to be repaired. Uhhh nah. Seriously the worst customer service and service department I have ever have the pleasure of dealing with. And honestly don t trust them with anything else if you get work done there triple check. I know this is small but I had them replace plain clips to keep my splash guard up you know something small.... they zip tied it and charged me for the clips I never got. Uh if you re willing to charge and lie about something that small what else are you willing to do. Dang I paid 500$ to get the top half rebuilt did that even happen?! Let s be honest probably not. They are lazy. Incompetent. And not willing to fix their own mistakes. You ve been warned DO NOT GO HERE!

Bought a used truck from them. Brought it in for warranty repair in February for a horn that would work intermittently. They couldn't find the problem. The horn stopped working altogether. Brought it back and now that the warranty expired the problem is found and it will cost $1000.00 to fix. THIEVESII They just lost a loyal customer. I've bought other cars from them. Never again. It's amazing how car dealerships pride themselves on ripping off their customers while that act like your best buddy.
UPDATE! Days after I was told no repair will be done Brian from Johnstons Toyota called and said upon review of the facts, Johnsons would repair the truck at no cost to us. I really appreciate Brian going the extra mile for us. The plus for Johnsons is I will continue to has my two Toyotas serviced with them.

All I had to do is tell the salesperson what I wanted, the rest was done for me. There was no pressure and no nonsense. They did not have the exact truck I wanted in stock. My salesman was Tom Hodge. He didn't try to sell me something else instead, he assured me they would find me the truck I was looking for, and they did. Salesperson was great, finance guy was great, and I got an awesome truck that I'm thrilled with. No doubt I would recommend Johnston's Toyota to anyone in the market for a car or truck.

We recently purchased a certified used 2018 Toyota Camry from Johnstons Toyota and were very happy with with their service and courteous treatment. The salesperson, Bridget Krol, was thoroughly professional and helped us through the entire process. We were especially happy with the way they took care of preparing the car for us to pick up. This is the second car we have purchased from them, and they have serviced our older Sienna as well. I highly recommend them!

I will go back to Johnstons Toyota and I will go back to Mike. I don't think I'll call my husband as much..:)

All of the staff that I interacted with, were very kind, upbeat, and knowledgeable; including the front desk woman, Deb. Very nice lady! Nicholas Ierardi, who I sold me my vehicle, was very helpful, funny, and friendly. Totally made purchasing a breeze. The finance manager, Daniel Rosenblum, helped seal the deal, and was quite hilarious as well. Thank you, Johnston Toyota

Was experiencing a shudder and mild vibration while gently accelerating at around 35/45 mph. I was stumped as to the cause and concerned about my Great Rav4. I then received a letter from Toyota Motors explaining the very issue I was having so now at least I now knew and was also happy to see that Toyota was extending a warranty enhancement to rectify the issue to all involved. I took it to Johnstons Toyota and can only say that their service is absolutely Superb and in a league of their own. Mike Plunkett in service department was very Courteous And informative and took care of everything flawlessly. A very Happy ending indeed. Thanks so much..

I had a pretty good experience with the purchase of my vehicle, but once they had my money they could care less. I had a *minor* issue approximately a week after purchase and they have not yet made it right. A part was ordered (I had to call and verify, no one bothered to call me), and the parts rep indicated that it was indeed in. I was then transferred to service and promptly transferred to five different people who can't seem to verify that a part was ordered for me. I live an hour away and sincerely regret purchasing a vehicle from this dealership if this is the service I have to look forward to.

Appointments are quick. BUT have been having a problem with our brakes since 10000 mile check. We have complained to the dealership and have been brushed off each time. Our Camry vibrates whenever we brake. The car has 19000 miles and we are concerned, but they aren't. Won't use their service department again.

I bought 2 cars in the last few years from Johnstons. The sales department is helpful and not pushy. They should get a bit more training in product knowledge as I found that each time I visited they seemed to know less about the vehicle being looked at than me.The service department is excellent although a bit pricey just like any other official dealer. Overall it's a very good company to deal with and I would definitely consider doing business with them again.

Great experience. I shopped around for a while. This place had the best prices. More importantly (to me at least) everyone I dealt with treated me with respect. No one tried to force me into anything. This was my first time buying a brand new car and they made it extremely simple for me. While I'm sure the entire dealership is great, I have to recommend Matt GIbbs. He was the person I mainly dealt with. He gave me a great deal and I had the keys in my hand with zero hassle.

The sales department was great, very transparent and honest. My wife and I purchased two vehicles, a highlander hybrid and a 4Runner. The problems we faced were post purchase. In my case it was minor unfortunately the front license plate holder was not installed, in a state that requires front and back plates, and I have not had a chance to get them installed (hopefully) by the dealership. However In my wife s case, it is the 7th of December, and her temporary tags for the highlander that she purchased mid October expired on the 10th of November. We have tried contacting the dealership to see if we can get put in touch with their license plate service (my wife is a Texas State resident), but unfortunately we have just been told to wait. At this point despite working different schedules we can only use our 4Runner which while a great vehicle is not as good on gas mileage as the highlander. Best customer service for a dealership friendly staff very professional toyota team whole dealership works as one not as individual departments you may have to wait a week or 2 to get a appointment but the overall experience is worth the wait
