It is a department store where you can purchase clean and practical items.
The curtain fabric is elaborate, which is a characteristic that other department stores do not have. According to a person familiar with London, it is a popular department store for British people.

The staff really aren't very interested in helping and the tables in the Benugo cafe are covered in dirty marks. This place is going down hill.

Disappointed that none of the cosmetic concessions had any information on what they are doing to reduce plastic packaging. Staff seemed completely disinterested and I had gone in with quite a list of products I was looking for

This is an excellent store full of everything you can imagine, I love how you can view whole bedrooms or bathroom models and try different products to see which one you like or fit the most on what you are looking. The prices are a bit high but you can find quality products so I really recommend this store, there's is a restaurant inside in case you get hungry and bathrooms are also available.

The best department store in Oxford Street, between Oxford Circus and Bond Street. Here you can find anything you need from men's, women's to babywear to homeware, electricals, TVs, computers to haberdashery, cards and gifts. With there motto "Never knowingly undersold" you will always find a good price. After shopping you can relax in their cafe. Throughout the year they hold many events from wedding shows, to sewing workshops and baby cafes.

Went to buy a blueray dvd player was out of store within 30 mins having received first class advice n products available - great when u only have a hour for lunch

It is an expensive place, but with very good service and high quality. You get everything: clothes, perfumes, creams, toys, clothes, technology. All kinds of brands. It is located on a major street close to great shopping.

Best department store. Such a great work ethic with staff sharing in profits. A complaint about a staff member must be a rare thing. Great things for sale and absolute quality in all. Quality and care. I went to look at handbasins. Great choice.

Their name means nothing anymore. Now, buyer beware!
Their returns policy is designed to make you think it s generous when actually it s just enough days to go over the maximum allowed under consumer legislation. Why does it matter? For bigger value items, they tell you to wait and then you lose your right to a refund under legislation. Then it s up to their discretion. And guess what, their customer service is a joke.

You'll find whatever you looking for with double prices.

Surprisingly good prices for such a classy store. Never miss visiting when in London.

Great traditional British department store offers very good service.

In the range of English shopping centers Lewis has its own defined space. First of all, it is not snobbish like Selfrigids and this already makes it more pleasant. Then it has good products, a wide selection and the prices are not exaggerated. Quiet dining spaces. In short, it is worth the visit.

Absolutely fantastic shop. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A joy to shop there.

Went in to purchase the OnePlus 7, since they are the only store that sell them apart from EE. I understand that it was 30 mins to closing time, but there were no staff to be found. Was waiting around for about 20 mins no one to help and asked a member, he put his hands up and told me to wait and he left. Very poor customer service. I asked two other members and they told me to wait, I just needed stock, didn't even want to ask anything. One person finally said if I know what I want I can go to the till and they'll give it to me. So I did. The only nice person was the lady at the cashier. That's it. Other than that, not even a decent experience, it's a shame because I spent a lot of money as well.

This store is amazing, it has everything you need. The size of this shop is outstanding, it has more than 5 levels which is amazing. What I love the most the is the free WiFi! I can use my internet while I am bored.

Huge mid priced department store with several cafes and restaurants for food while you shop. Has a bit of a last century service feel but service is good and prices are competitive. Generally good selection of everything with a small sample of higher end products.

Went to returant Rossopomodorous had Polloc Chicken what a disappointment. Food poor.we will never go again.Not a John Lewis standard.Back to The Place to Eat.

Expansive flagship store from the UK's ethical retail group. Always exceedingly busy, this establishment is, however the place to go for some upmarket window shopping or ideas generation if you can't actually afford to buy anything. Quality, after all, comes with a price.

I came for a kitchen appointment. I was very pleased that the team were able to fit me in early due to a change in my schedule.

Same as other John Lewis shops, nothing special good stock levels and products, pleasant and helpful staff. Nice for an in and out shop run. The Oxford Street store is relatively quiet during the afternoon rush hours which is nice.

Been let down by John Lewis BIG time!

I have bought a semi integrated dishwasher over a month ago via phone, been told by the stuff that they had it in stock and it would be delivered soon.. a week later, had a call from John Lewis saying they made a mistake and they had just ordered the dishwasher and they would call to arrange the delivery as soon as the machine arrives,, a week later, a call to arrange a delivery and fitting, the earliest available day would be 2 weeks later, with a silly all day slot, which was yesterday.
I am a self employed professional so I didn't book any work waiting for this stupid dishwasher, I had lodgers nagging for over a month, paid extra to the cleaner for the messy dishes, anyway,, a lot of hassle and frustration besides losing a lot of money and then to be told yesterday that they left the store with the wrong item and now having to re-arrange another delivery in about 2 weeks... WTF I am so furious and disappointed by the John Lewis team for wasting over a month of my life, causing so much stress and now I am so upset that I don't want that bloody dishwasher anymore, I could have bought cheaper elsewhere with delivery and installed in the same week of purchase, I am about to go on holiday with no dishwasher and extremely angry about the let down....

And 7 weeks on, the problem has not been sorted, Got the dishwasher last Friday but they could not install saying it was a problem with the floor which I rushed over the weekend to get it sorted so they could com on Monday between 6pm and 9pm to install... Of course I got a call saying they would not be able to come as they were finishing another job with the same problem as mine but somehow they were there sorting this other clients floor and I was told they could not done mine as it was John Lewis policy..

End of story, I wasted 7 weeks of my life dealing with John Lewis, lost loads of money, fall out with my best friend as we both own the house and it was his suggestion to buy the machine from John Lewis and still no bloody dishwasher installed... I am physically and mentally exhausted! The worse purchase experience of my 37 years of life!!!

Unlike Selfridges, this is a department store normal people can shop at and buy stuff. Great selection of everything. Also not nearly as crazy crowded and less of a Byzantine store layout.

Great service and I always buy my electronics there since they offer a further years guarantee, except for TVs where everyone offers 5 year guarantees now, so JL need to raise there game for TVs.

Staff were superb and despite the crowds the store felt pleasant as always.

Evening after 7pm. John Lewis cafe had closed in store at Oxford Street so went to Bheuno cafe in store. It was my second visit to Bheunos..Both times there was a notice to say card machine broken down, cash only. Considering price, coffee very poor, cake dry, also overpriced for the quality..After two sips of coffee I asked for a drop of hot milk to make coffee more pleasant. Told they had now closed so milk was unavailable.

It's a very good department store, staff is so helpful. Good shop experience.

John Lewis on Oxford Street is rightly the flagship store for JLP. Quality and affordability with great service

I hate shopping, but this store is great, especially when decorated for chrimbo.

Phone service is a joke complete and utter joke - being holding to speak to someone for nearly 20 minutes as my query is not on the website which seems to be "rammed down your throat" I just want to speak to someone!

Free wine tasting sessions are fab! You can learn about wine and taste it. Then you can buy the ones in the tasting. Really fun and i learn alot each time.

Typical British department store, where display has been elevated to a work of art. It's a party to stroll through the store during Christmas. The magical atmosphere thawed even the greatest scrooge
