Great department store with a fantastic cafe / restaurant.
Great department store with a fantastic cafe / restaurant.
A very nice store with variety and quality. Staff. Very nice and welcoming. A moment of happiness at the cafe.
Excellent environment and superb shopping mall friendly staff
John Lewis & Partners flagship store in Oxford Street cover almost anything you could want for the home and the person. Like, it seems, all department stores you need to enter through a vast area of perfumes and make-up with the different designer brands available. Menswear to the back of the store on the ground floor and a Waitrose food store in the basement.
There is a large furniture department covering all rooms within the home as well as specialist design areas for kitchen and bathroom. You can pick your bed from a wide variety of based and literally dozens of different mattresses.
Electrical and household white goods have a lot of space and a great selection as does TV, HiFi, computer and cameras. On even higher floors is haberdashery and toys.
Overall, this John Lewis & Partners store provides a wide range of goods, all backed by the 'Never knowingly undersold' promise. However, given the current trend for online shopping I can't help wonder how many people are going here to select products and then online to buy. Let's hope enough money os coming in to keep this flagship store going.
Pretty much the only place I could find to try on some headphones. Sales assistant was really helpful and impartial. Was very busy though, as you would expect.
Large upper-class department store. Amazing perfume selection
Very good variety of things to shop. Excellent customer service
Great products. Found exactly what I was looking for.
Excellent and high quality shopping center. Good assistance and friendly staff
Great department store with a foodhall can pretty much find anything you're looking for here.
One of the best department stores in the country. Fair prices, too.
This has to be one of the best shops in the country. It has a great range of products, and I have always trusted the brand as a whole, you can always expect great customer service.
Nice Department store, not good at putting prices on things, it makes me think that they expect people to just cough up and pay what they say, the Leeds store is better by far.
A better department store than Selfridges in my opinion. More down to earth and with almost the same inventory. Friendly client services agents.
Convenient location, very good shopping, fast tax refund!
My wife and myself are big fans of john Lewis but we're very disappointed with the breakfast at john Lewis.firstly the food was cold, secondly the bacon was rock hard, thirdly while trying to navigate which parts of the breakfast to eat we saw three separate customers angrily complaining to staff about their breakfast.we were very disappointed and expected higher standards from john Lewis.we will not be having breakfast at john Lewis again.
Very helpful by 2 of your staff, was shown curtains that i said needed to go with room colour, then with the rails for the curtains and online to send ...very courteous and helpful thanks ...sorted!! :) will shop there again
Had what I wanted. Staff very helpful and friendly. Price was also very reasonable.
Oxford Street, the mother of all JL stores, brilliant, very good restaurant on top floor
Fantastic department store, amazing range of good quality products and never knowingly undersold
Very big store five floors, with comprehensive stock. We have used the cafeteria on the top floor to eat lunch on several visits. Variety of dishes and snacks to suit all tastes. Escalators up and down to all floors and four lifts too.
Third time I've been there shopping . Worst customer service I've seen all over London . unfriendly. Unhelpful staff. Sloppy
Excellent customer services by staff on different departments.
Competitive prices and long term guarranty.
Very quick way to make lots of money. Buy decleor items from QVC and return for full refund state allergic reaction in store get money back. I did this a few days ago and not for the first time. Myself and my friends buy five set pack from More
No bargains just expensive selection of 200 to 1200 thread sheets and bedding. Quality at a price. 2nd floor cafe not JL.
A world class shopping centre in the Oxford Street of London.
Love this shop. Good quality and when is the clearance time there ia worth to be in. I mean, like every body how loves shopping you're there to spend lots of money for good quality and value. This shope is amazing. They offer you lots of variety of clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics and perfumes.
Love john lewis it is my favorite store. Customer service is always excellent. products are good. If there is a problem with an item they always will exchange or take it back.
It is a department store where you can do shopping without having to pay much attention.
I used it to buy souvenirs to Japan, but I am saved because the assortment is substantial.
Visited during the sales so not the best time to review to be honest, staff were very patient and trying their best to deal with a wave of customer.
A well laid out store and good customer service.
You can actually spend an entire day at John Lewis, as there's so much to do and see - and buy! ;) Good options of food too, and the staff is always lovely.
Top department store on Oxford Street. More knowledgeable (less pushy} staff & a much more pleasant overall atmosphere than some other famous stores on the 'street'.
Surprised by JL staff at closing time on Sunday. One lad herded us out with the words "right, let's go!" Perhaps they are not paid beyond 17:00...
I don't love shopping, but the layout and helpfulness of staff made this an enjoyable experience. I would recommend shopping here
I went to John Lewis haberdashery department as thankfully they still have one and stock own brand wool, Wool and the Gang, Toft and Rowan yarns (with another Yorkshire wool the brand name I cant remember) but the staff know next to nothing about wool or knitting. Which is a great shame..as you cant sell what you dont use!
Used click and collect. All very smooth. No problems. Staff polite and helpful.
Extremely efficient & warm friendly staff. The flagship store of the West End. Worth a visit any time of the year.
I had not been to John Lewis Oxford Circus for a very long time, And was blown away by the warmth , approachable people at the beauty counters ! In particular , rhianne from Elemis! She went above and beyond to help me and assist me with my purachse! So kind and warm that s I would go back sooner to get more products and her hekp.
Very helpful staff this time. Sometimes you can get one member of staff that not so eager to help find stuff. But today was not the case. Lady was busy but still went out of her way to help and found what we where looking for.
Simply the best shop of the world. There is everything you need for your house, they have tons of good quality items.
Very good shop, I especially enjoy going to the toilet here during my Oxford Street endeavours.
Very helpful staff. Good selection of anything you could want.
Great department store with a wide selection of goods. I always find that John Lewis stores provide good service and competitive pricing (if not always the cheapest) and this store is no exception
Very kind staff, I'm not really a grocery store, but you can stay there all day
Efficient, knowledgeable staff... always willing to help
Sweet place, when im back in the UK im sure to check out this place again!
The best value department store in London, this branch has the largest collection of exclusive offers s, not available else where.
Impressive building, great merchandise and a very decent Cafe
The service I received in the beauty section was DREADFUL. Tainting the name of John Lewis; please train your staff to be more respectful towards the customers. They were unfriendly, impolite, and very dismissive. Incredibly unhelpful!
The staff in the men's section however were a complete contrast. The woman on the till was very lovely.
A huge department store with lots of different things available but often not that exciting. The staff in this particular branch don't seem to be very happy and they are policing the plastic bag policy tightly - I even had to make a special request for some tissue paper to wrap my item.
A traditional department store with a modern feel.
We always visit the store on trips to Oxford Street not just for the wide range of goods at very good prices but also for the excellent restaurant. There's a great range of food especially the puddings and cakes some of which are dairy free.
But it's the staff that make the store different to their competitors. Everyone seems eager to ensure you get what you need.
Bought suitcase which found out to be smaller than I needed. When I returned was told that I wheeled it so can't be refunded. When I check the suitcases on display; wheels are the same . I got it from their display. Disappointed! Folks don't wheel the new one even if u think the right size . Carry it on your head. I won't be buying from there.
High class shopping center. They price match their products (not valid when comparing with online retailers only)
I love everything about John Lewis and have done so for the last 20 years. Great service...warm, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a quality department store with a genuine feel to it. The roof top bar is great in the summer too!
Not bad but not great. Loved the pick your own Quality Street sweets pop up.
I'm not sure if there is something you can't find here. Good brands, quality and good prices. I got my husband a Briggs & Riley backpack for Christmas. They have a person there who works for each brand specifically and that helps a lot!
