We purchased a car from them in July and made sure we had everything in order before driving off the lot. On Friday we woke up to our car no where in sight. 100% sure we made all payments on time and had all the proper paperwork we were sure the car was stolen. Saturday morning we found out in fact John Gibson had come to get the car saying we didn't have proper car insurance even if that's what they allow us to drive off the lot with. We asked them if we get the correct policy would we be able to get car back. Rude collection lady said that we would have to start completely over , even paying another down payment. This place is a rip off .

After walking around looking on lot for a vehicle for my grandfather who was ready to purchase cash in hand. I went inside to find a sales person. No one spoke to me until I spoke. Afterward it became obvious to me that selling a car was not their priority. I was told by a guy that when he finished his plate of food he would come out to answer any questions. Went down the road and purchased elsewhere all within the hour.
As an African American male I experienced this for the second and last time at john gibson. I promise my family nor I will return.

I Just want to tell you guys... you have the absolute rudest "customer service" reps in your payment dept. This is the 2nd issue I've had involving reps with your company. We have 2 vehicles financed with you. A few months ago I made the mistake of getting an online acct for our Kia to make the payment to save $6. I paid it and was sent a confirmation email. Apparently, it wasn't a "true confirmation" (your reps words) and caused me to get a late fee. Once I was talked to like an annoyance, I was finally transferred to a man that was apologetic and didn't charge me the late fee. I have never and will never pay an online payment with you again after that confusion. Now, months later, I called today to make my Suburban payment. It is due monthly on the 10th..(yesterday..a SUNDAY). The rep rudely informed me that I had a late fee to pay because there's absolutely no grace period. I informed her yesterday was a Sunday. She told me "I know what yesterday was. We offer online payments so you owe a late fee." Whatever. What's another $12 when you already pay over $1,000 to you every month? It was the attitude of the rep and just the out right rudeness. She apparently put me on hold because after listening to music she came back on stating she spoke to the office manager and I have to pay it because "I know that there's no grace period". WHAT!?! Like I'm trying to weesle out of a fee of $12 because your online system is misleading and your payment office is unavailable on Sundays? I have not paid it. And who cares if I pay it today or Friday? I'd still get a late payment either way. I am in disbelief of this horrific service. Your sales dept is fast and a pleasure to work with. This dept is your company's downfall. When I asked to speak to this so called "office manager" the rep said that "she is in the middle of something important and will have to call me later"... better vocabulary would do this dept justice. We went to you because you sell quality cars to people with bad credit. Myself and my husband have been working on ours and are now in the 700s. We will be going to our bank in hopes to refinance in Jan and will not be back for a vehicle; thanks to them. I would like for someone a bit less rude to contact me. The account is under Justin Talbert. Since you cannot review your business via Facebook, it will be a review on Google. You need to teach manners on customer service.

I just purchased my beautiful American Ironhorse Texas Chopper from John Gibson's Auto for me this is the only place to go to purchase a motorcycle with so many bikes you can do a side-by-side comparison the friendly staff is there to help you with your selection this makes my third purchase from John Gibson and Joseph and sold me all three he is good when I'm ready again I will be back!!

I would give zero stars if i could. Don't ever buy here. I bought two vehicles same day one the motor is going out (I have the paperwork from the Dodge dealership I took it too telling me to get rid of the car) after having less than a month and the other is having problems as well. I have had both vehicles way less than a year. They will NOT fix unless you add on to your loan. I gave them an attemt to fix it now ive been having problems with both lemons since ive bought them . They been reported to the bbb. They have a chop shop they take the vehicles too. Also most of them are messed up on pills. Someone I know there told me that from their own mouth. I bought here because 7 years ago I bought a Chrysler 300 and it was perfect. I don't know what happened to this place. I should know not to trust a company who was RAIDED by the IRS. My car was one of the contracts they had to give up during thay raid.Look it up. (Crooks) Thier vehicles are all lemons. If anyone has problems with their vehicles I have a friend that is a consumer lawyer will take care of it. She told me they have ALOT of cases with this place. They will get you in that vehicle but will screw you completely. Also if you decide to switch insurance companies make sure you get the declaration paper to them. I have the max full coverage on both vehicles and they said they did not receive they fax from my insurance agent which they did on November 9, 2016. My insurance company has documentation. They will reposess your vehicle just like a lady said below me. They will be seeing a couple of my lawyers. They say it is an "as is" company but I promise you something can be done. They just don't care they do this all the time and this is coming from a person from the within the company. The ladies in the office well not all of them are very rude. So there is no talking to them. Very difficult company. I've never done a review but this is had to. The bad reviews on here are very true. I wish I just wouldn't have gave them a benefit of a doubt they would have done me the way they did. Even the mechanic felt sorry for us about the the vehicles. But he just has to do what the crooked Gibsons say. Their Comercials are Bullshit. They have family that works for them and don't even pay them enough and are dragged to the ground and talked down to. Especially one of their top salesmen. Just do your research please. This place needs to get shut down. Update they took my cadillac first because they said they didn't have the declaration for insurance (which they had) then I called Monday to get to get my items out and the woman Julie said I can come get them. When I got there Tuesday they said they wouldn't let me because I went into default with my challenger (only $413) that both vehicles are in default. Which my cadillac wasnt that is why i called the cops. They said when one goes into default the other does too. LOL Crazy it sounds but very true with these asses. JULIE got very rude with me being an smart ass and pointing her finger (which she was testing me bad) lol and said I couldn't and I advised her that it is illegal in the state of arkansas not to give me my items back. But she didn't care and said to have a nice day. So I told her no you have a nice day you will here from my lawyer In 5 seconds. I called my lawyer and with in 5 minutes got my items and my truck! The look on her face was priceless. Then when she told the young lady to go get my vehicle she at yelled her because she was so mad. Lol. I told the poor girl she needs to find a different job. She said she knew and that they have ALOT of lawsuits against them. Don't ever deal with the miserable woman JULIE. She is not right In the head with a power trip. I told her to just go back in sit in her little chair and do her job. You just have to stand up to these people. They have power trips and try to intimidate you, don't let them. I'm doing everything in my power to get something done about my 2010 challenger about the motor going out less than a month having it with less than 70,000m

I got to thinking about it and thought maybe I heard it wrong so I went back and asked again. They said ten nine. I said "ten thousand?" They said "yes". I just shook my head and left. After the 4th time i finally gave up and hung up. Maybe they don't need the extra business but they won't be recieving mine.

Long time customer, referred over a dozen others. After seeing the changes I saw today. I can no longer spend my money or send my friends. Its a shame that such an amazing place to do business with has become what I saw today. Over priced, unwilling to offer even remotely reasonable terms. I can say unless something changes I have signed my last contract with you. The staff is still friendly. But the terms are hands down the worst I have ever seen. Well beyond unreasonable. Never able to get a call back. Drove 3 hours to check in and went home outright offended.

This place has THE RUDEST customer service I have ever encountered. I HATE THAT I STARTED TO FINANCE A CAR WITH THEM! Do not go to this place! I called to pay my car note today and was 30 days behind on 1 payment and NOT 30 days past due on the next payment.. A lady in collections told me that I had to pay both car payments PLUS repo fees???!! Mind you, MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN REPOED SO WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY over $200.00 in REPO FEES, when I asked this question the lady told me they had been "looking" for my car and couldn't find it, that's why I had to pay these fees and that the fee WAS NOT NEGOTIABLE ... well, they have my recent address and my work address. These are the only two places that I'm at EVERYDAY so my car has not been hiding. I told the woman I would call her back because I didn't feel like I needed to pay repo fees if my car had not been repoed. I was looking for corporate or for a number to call to make sure the info she gave me was accurate. She called in less than 5 mins back saying it was a mistake and I didn't need to pay the repo fees (I knew I didn't have to pay them in the first place because my car was not repoed, I STILL HAVE MY CAR) all in all, I paid my car note up to date and I will never do business with them once the car is paid off. If I would've paid those fees and acted as if what she said made SENSE, this would have been MONEY IN THEIR POCKET AND IM SURE THEY DO THIS TO PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. This is bad business and a complete SCAM. I'm currently looking for someone to speak with about this situation.

My friend bought a bike here. $200 down and it's his. We both go to transfer the contract since I'm buying it, the manager wasn't there when we were told, and they require the full purchasing paperwork, which wasn't mentioned before we drove 3 hours and wasn't necessary to buy the thing in the first place. Burnt my parents 20 years ago, then burns me. Can't wait for my kids to grow enough to experience the tradition.

I've must say this is an experience with john Gibson I will never forget..I've been going thru a rough time and thought I could never catch a break until one day I called to make a payment and needed help words of encouragement but not ever did I think I would get that from here specifically from a l lady Ms.Misty M very kind very helpful and on more then one occasion she has been very helpful and encourageing and I just want to say Thank you Thank you publicly your a great and positive asset to the company!! We drove 2 hours for a camper. We looked at the one we seen online. It had lots of small issues, including the vent a hood and light above the stove would not work, the awning cover was broke, found out had water damage they had repaired but the floor was coming up where they had attempted to do that. The maintenance guy kept asking us if we were buying it before he would repaid anything. We asked to knock 900 off for the issues - was told they couldn't do that by law. They can only have one price. There is not a fair trade law so we called bullcrap and left. They did not want to sell anything and you could tell by there demeanor. I do not recommend even trying to deal with them.

We had been talking with Chris the week prior about buying a motorcycle. I told him we would be down there the following Saturday with the down payment. When we got there there was no place to park. After finally finding a half of a parking spot. We asked an employee at the front door if Chris was available. The employee said "No he's not here" Then said "No just kidding he's right here" Chris had a cigarette in his hand and was smoking right in front of the door. How gross and unprofessional! We finally get taken inside to see the motorcycles & we didn't see the motorcycle I had put an application on. He tells us it sold! I was fuming & so we started looking at the other ones. After, being almost 45 minutes Chris finally comes up to us and tells us "Oh the the one you was interested in isn't sold we sent it off to have it repaired." We live in Conway & drove down to Hot Springs for absolutely no reason at all. He knew how far we were driving and could have called me prior to us driving down there. This place is absolutely a place I would NEVER EVER recommend to anyone! Horrible customer service & horrible communication. He smoked 4 cigarettes while we were waiting the 45 minutes. Do not waste your time!

Me an my husband were in search of an SUV so we decided to pay them a visit...Our initial greeting was asking us to move our vehicle... very rudely ...Then we walked around the lot for almost an hour an not one person asked if we needed any help...we also browsed the cars ...after my husband said maybe if i go inside an look at the motorcycles someone will see if we need help..well nope it wasnt until we were walking to our car did someone ask if we found what we were looking for my husband's response was yes but we will take our business somewhere else. Terrible experience.. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE THE FACE OF THE COMPANY...VERY POOR

Don't know how they got a 4 out of 5. I wasn't impressed. I walked through the show room. One employee sales guy sitting there playing on his phone. Walked through the main office. No one greeted me. I really wasn't sure exactly who was employees except for the girls behind the computer desks. Which none of them said welcome.
I know I won't be going back.
Good luck to whoever gets anything out of them. I'd heard this before from someone else. So I found out for myself.
