Cool spot on the harbor. Service was average.... not great, not awful. I would go back!

We were a party of 7, everyone loved their food... Absolutely delicious...The fries were bomb! . Our waiter Evan was outstanding!!! Best server we have ever had! Thank you all Jimmy's staff you guys and gals rock it! We will be back!

I had an amazing time. Jake and Charlie were my servers. Super nice and friendly. Visiting San Diego for the first time and that was the first dinner I had. The cowboy burger and clam chowder I had was amazing. The vanilla sundae was super good as well. I recommend anyone visiting San Diego should go there. I'm going back for sure.

Great lemonade; fish (of the fish and chips, though the chips and the fries are nothing to admire); and huge onion rings.

This is pricey when they basically serve bar food. Supposedly it's because the ingredients are quality, such as wagyu beef burgers, but nothing tasted amazing. Good buy boy exactly $20/burger good. Other than that, the server was polite and the whole restaurant was well lit.

Outside under the shade was nice great services good appetizers

Amazing Location, beautiful outdoor deck overlooking marina. Friendly acomadating staff. Food was excellent. Wings special was super nice. Good serving size. Short Rib Papadelle was also amazing. Will be back!!!

I had a layover in San Diego and decided to take my boyfriend with me. We went on a Dolphin for some half day fishing then here for dinner. Omg guys, this place is ridiculously delicious. You would think being in California things would be so expensive but for the amount and quality of this food, it was price so reasonably. I even heard that they give my airline a discount if you tell them.

Anyways my boyfriend and I ordered calamari, each a clam chowder soup, and a fish and chips to share. We saw on the table next to us how big the fish and chips was and we figured we both couldn t eat one. We were right! After the calamari I was full! That alone was so filling. Omg the flavors and how crisp the calamari was. It was so good. My mouth is watering just typing this review. Seriously one of the best calamari I ve ever had. The clam chowder was great too. Honestly my boyfriend and in could have shared that too because by the time we got to the fish and chips I was tapped out. I ate one of the fish and it was great. So nice and crispy. It wasn t that greasy for just being fired. The cod was moist and just melted in your mouth. Honestly I tell all my flight attendant friends if they have a layover in SD to go here.

For $51 the food here is great quality and delicious! Please check it out!!!

Omg and I almost forgot!!! They gave my boyfriend a special dessert for his birthday. Peanut butter cookie and ice cream. It was so thoughtful and we didn t even ask. I just love this place and their service. I can t wait to come back!!!

A great place to check out for lunch or dinner... looks like Sunday brunch is a big deal here too... that's not really my thing though. They have a full bar, and the food is really good. Check out the fish and chips, the fried chicken, or one if the burgers. All great. It can get a little loud, so don't come expecting a quite dinner, do expect to have a good time.

Honestly one of the best places I've been to - period.

The food is humongous and amazing in taste and quality. Came out quickly and efficiently. Our server, Carlos, was epic -- genuinely kind and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the events surrounding.
We came for lunch just now and our actually planning to come back for dinner tonight.

Imagine perfectly cooked steak (steak frites), giant crispy onion rings, and the Beyond Meat Burger (a veggie burger with a veggie patty) is the best veggie burger I've ever had -- the meat tastes like meat AND I ordered it with bacon, I feel no shame hahaha

And PS there is a kids menu, with good portions and the kids cups for lids.

Great fish burger. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. Right on the water too. One of my favorite spots to eat. Not the cheapest place to eat but one of the best. -1-star for the price.

A really great place to eat! Staff here is really friendly and prices are reasonable. Some spots do have a decent view of the water. Some of the burgers here are pretty big, but are really good. Unless you are really hungry, you might not be able to finish it. Still would recommend this place.

Excellent food, drinks, and service! The restaurant is very friendly, contemporary design, and very comfortable with awesome views of the marina and harbor. The layout of the restaurant is COVID compliant (every table is at least 6ft apart) with ample seating in the main open air section, and there is also plentiful seating under open tents. Perfect for family, friends, or business dining.
Recommend the clam chowder and their home made potato chips! Great seafood choices and kudos to Chef Kelli Kae Elliott for the hospitality and a lovely dining experience!

Had dinner here after our arrival in San Diego awaiting a cruise. This place is popular and was fairly noisy due to lots of people at the bar etc. The ambiance is very nice, being right on the waterfront. Now, the food. My husband ordered a chili dish that came served on pasta and he was rather shocked at the small portion, especially for a pasta dish. He was underwhelmed by this dish as a whole. I ordered the Ahi tuna salad and was really WOWED! It was fantastic! Prices were high, but then we just arrived from the Midwest and were not familiar with the costs in San Diego. My salad was 15.99 and close to what one would pay for this anywhere, a good value. I would eat here again in a flash!

Food was so heavy in garlic and was sort of over done. The fries were cooked to dry and the medium burgers were well done instead.

You can not beat their Monday deal. $12 for any burger and any beer. They have about 5 or 6 standard burgers to choose from. I am not too crazy about the Cowboy burger. I like the Famous burger most. Their Jimmy Burger (spicy one) is good too! It's hard to justify not coming here on a Monday, however. A $17-19 burger is a lot (and then add a drink, tax, tip)... however, they are DELICIOUS!!!

Too much food, Cole slaw was to be wet but it as very dry. Tasted like it was right out of bag.

They have great service! Great view! And great decor! I personally dont like the food so much but everyone else did, it just wasn't my flavor. But great never the less.

Had a wonderful time. They have a great selection for microbrew beer.

My colleague and I usually hit up Jimmy's for lunch during the week. Great patio, a nice variety of items. The service and wait staff is always great! Last time we were there, we had Luis. He is just so warm and hospitable! Highly recommend!

Not busy whenever I've gone there during the day. But the food is good and you have a great view of the bay (indoor and outdoor seating).

They don't understand what Fish & Chips is. Slow service. Food was meh.

Fish tacos were just meh for San Diego. Not enough fish - ratio of fish to taco/cabbage was poor to justify the $19 cost. at least they were seasoned nicely and presented visually as well as they could in a cardboard takeout box (thanks covid!) The rice was old and crunchy - clearly has been sitting around in kitchen for hours. Kitchen sent out more rice and it was from same batch (but more cherry picked to avoid as much overcooked rice grains). Beans were decent. Best part of the meal was my old fashioned cocktail. Thought a waterfront restaurant would crush fish tacos but this was a slightly regretful experience overall. The view and general atmosphere is the only thing helps bump up a star.

Meals were awesome. Service was very quick and all the staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back next time in point loma

One of my favorite places in the city. Great food (especially the burgers), awesome atmosphere, and good beers. If you're looking for a nice, casual yet tasty meal, I'd definitely recommended JFAT.

Service was fast and friendly at 5pm on a Saturday.

While I like the idea of their fried chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes and green beans with thyme gravy on top, the chicken was overcooked (which was a surprise considering how ridiculously quick the dish came out). The mashed potatoes were a bit on the pasty side. Flavors were very good though.

Expensive ($19 for the dinner). But you are paying for the location as well.

I love the all day Happy Hour on Tuesdays and the view is at sunset should not be missed. Its a great place to take a large group and they are very accommodating.

Scott, Ted, Donna and Shay did an awesome job! Went on a trip to visit and eat somewhere nice with family and friends; their very excellent and friendly take-out service saved our night!

One of my top locations for american food. I love snacking here. The service was very kind and attentive. This place has an awesome atmosphere. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.

Service was great, view was amazing and food was delicious. I had the spinach beer bacon fondue, maple brussel sprouts, garlic fries and green chile burger. If you dont like brussel sprouts, these will change your mind . # JFAT

I love the fried catfish here. I'm from Wisconsin and prefer walleye and perch over seafood dishes but a really good fried catfish is up there also! Nice staff. Friendly. Lots of TVs for sports.

Menu has lots of selections for food items that are really tasty though possibly not good for the arteries. But the menu seems to have more healthy alternatives.

Food is so-so but the attitude and views are on the money. I have had the fish n chips twice, both times it was greasy and lacked any flavor. Other than the food, great place! Beer is great!

Incredibly solid, tasty lunch combo at a great price along with well-made cocktails makes Jimmy's a must-try. The chowder was my fave in San D; I'd tried several.
