Great waterfront dining. Great food, friendly staff.

We were celebrating my daughters college graduation and had a party of 12. They served us all great food in a timely manner.

It's a nice place, food is ok, but nothing incredible. $18 for a cheeseburger is excessive.

It was ok, the service at the bar was ok but not very friendly bartender but the beer was good! The restaurant was big & nice looking!

One of my preferred spots for quality american food. This place does it for me. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. It has a nice interior.

We stopped in at Jimmy s Tavern for lunch and absolutely loved the atmosphere and location on the water. The boardwalk runs right next to the restaurant making it convenient for riding a bike or after any water sports in the area. The menu was perfect for small bits or a full meal, with a host a drinks to pick from. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite spots for delicious american food. Visited near twelve, it was not full. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bill was good for how much you get.

I had the fish and chips. I got plenty of food but felt it was underwhelming for $18.00. I guess you pay extra for the view.

Our waitress was great. She was attentive and suggested awesome drinks. Appetizers were tasty and we hit happy hour and had good selection of food and liquids! The company should get the sign working on the outside of the restaurant though.

Had chicken club with house made potato chips not bad, bit on the pricey side but not bad!

Decent food. The menu is pretty eclectic though. Almost to the point of not being able to distinguish what they're famous for. Unless they are famous for inventing eclectic American cuisine. Which, if that's the case, well done.

Great staff with friendly service. It's a nice outdoor space to enjoy lunch on a warm summer day with a nice view of the marina.

I had the blue burger with garlic parmesan fries and it was AMAZING! My wife had the clam chowder and that too was delicious. All in all the service was good. We didn't wait too long and the crowd was ok. All ages come to this place. They have some signature mixed drinks that I didn't get to try but by the looks of them, I'd say they are worth trying. But it is a bit pricey.

Great food and good atmosphere. Open air dining right on the bay. The French dip is worth going back for. The entrance is around back which was odd because there are signs pointing to "restaurant entrance" that is going a set of stairs to nowhere. Don't be fooled.

Jimmy's Famous is always tops. Food is great and the service is very prompt. Never a miss here.

Great if you dont mind a 18 dollar burger. Tourist spot.

My fav location for tasty american food. Arrived at six, it was not packed. Definitely worth a return visit. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

IN THE TOP 3!!! Of my many many many San Diego experiences! I've been reading the reviews. And I'm thinking maybe I am not at the same restaurant as a people reviewing. I went on a Saturday at the bar with the most wonderful bartender I have met in San Diego named Lori who made me feel like family. The food was incredible the service impeccable and then view is breathtaking.

Love this spot. Not many people remember about because it's tucked away but that's what makes it great; you can usually get a table. You can sit on the patio to be near the water. They have a great happy hour also.

Overpriced food, lacks flavor, great view, I wouldn't eat here again, service was good though.

Was there years ago, it was the best burger on the westcoast. for me the best were the fried onion rings.

I'm giving this Restaurant a 3 stars for 2 reasons very friendly staff and for the best chocolate pudding/mousse I've had in a long time! However everything here was over priced & very expensive $$$$ I wanted steak but after I saw it was $30+ I decided to get a chzburger instead and that was $17- $20 and it was ok but definitely not worth the price. I'm from the Midwest and we know how to make a tangy creamy coleslaw but haven't found it in San Diego. I sat at the bar and the stools were very comfortable and there were lots of sports tvs.

The chili and salad with chicken were awesome and huge.

Food is wonderful. Loved the Pimento Cheese and the Bedeviled eggs. But the absolute best starter is the Buffalo Meatballs.
The beer selection is limited, which is frustrating in San Diego. Service is wonderfully friendly but not fast.

5 stars! We really enjoyed our experience at Jimmy's. The food was superb and the service was top notch as well. Great location and nice views of the marina. The burgers are a must try! We will definitely come back

They ask for your cell number to text when table is ready. They don't tell you it's through YELP, and you may end up getting spam phone calls because they sold your cell number to 3rd party. Not worth it!!! Stay away!

Great location "On The Water". Food Just ok. The cheese on the albacore melt wasn't melted, needed one more slice of chile pepper. The Deviled eggs were good. I don't know about an $18 Cheeseburgers? My son liked his cheeseburger, his fries were great. The service was great so was the location 5 stars. Food needs work. Could be a great spot but..... I can only imagine what the Port of SD charges for rent. I will try it again.

A casual dining experience. Good selection of beers. We invited out-of-town relatives visiting San Diego to meet there. View directly out on the marina. Great food - Seafood, yes. Salads, yes, Burgers, yes. Pasta, yes. Great for couples or families.

Hard to not avoid a crown on weekends. Arrive early with plenty time to wait or make a reservation ahead of time. The hostess team needs some customer service training. The bar and table servers/waiters are excellent! We ordered the mussels and we're accidentally entered as 'meatballs'. Instantly our bartender apologized and in less than 8 minutes we got our mussels. Sadly these smelled fishier than usual. We notified our bartender again and apologized for our complaint. She smiled and gladly said she would take care of it. We ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious! Truly a place that strives to make their patrons satisfied. Thank you!!!

Great quality food and waterfront dining. The ahi tuna burger is amazing. You can grab takeout and sit along the water.

The Nashville hot chicken is not bad, not Haddie B's but worth it
