We ordered a bunch of appetizers off the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious, and prices were reasonable. Staff was very friendly and super attentive. Great choice of beers. It's right on the harbor - nice views and great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating, with heaters on the patio.

The atmosphere of the place is amazing. A great place to go enjoy some great food and be able to look out at the harbor. The service was fast and on point. The calamari was the best I have ever had. The fries were so good you don't need to dip them into anything. I am definitely planning on going again.

Ordered the Clam Chowder and arrived at the table almost warm. One would think that someone in the kitchen might notice when picking up the bowl to deliver to the table that the bowl is not even close to hot. Asked to get a hot bowl of Chowder and took another 15 minutes. By the way, the restaurant was not busy at the time, maybe 15 customers. Then the ultimate disappointment, worst Clam Chowder ever. Had the consistency of thick gravy and no flavor. They should get a new recipe or take it off the menu.

I thought the prices were high but it was worth every penny. The atmosphere is great and so was the service.

Delicious food in a setting with a gorgeous view of ships and the water. The food was a little pricey, but I guess you pay for the atmosphere. My major complaint was that the women's restroom was out of soap. Several of us requested this be refilled but after about twenty minutes, it still had not been done. I had my boyfriend go into the men's restroom to bring me soap. This request should have been taken care of immediately IMO

The location is great and the service was awesome but the food was not quite up to par. We both had the burger and or son had the chicken and waffles. I didn't like it all that much but my wife really liked hers, the chicken and waffles was not good at all (is there supposed to be gravy on the waffles too?) All in all three stars for us

The best "Impossible Burger" in town. Great location, always friendly service and the beautiful location overlooking the marina can't be beat. One of our favorite go to spots, any day of the week and lovelier during fine weather weeknds. The Dan Point J-Fat is also excellent but not quite the view.

Great location and service. Food was so so. Famous cheese burger was great good but the sauce in the Jimmy's burger is not good. Fried chicken is dry and seems to be 2 day old. Even the fish and chips was bad. It was mushy as it was something coming out of the microwave. Their fries and chips were great.

Was not what I expected maybe after looking at photos on Instagram and everything my expectations were high but I would say the highlight of these 3 dishes were the tater tots. The deviled eggs were ok but the pickled jalapeno over powers the whole thing. The skillet was the most disappointing as it was just meat and potatoes no life to it. The chicken was done properly but the sausage gravy was too thin and seemed watered down.

We went to Jimmy's on a Friday evening when we were on a weekend getaway and we were very disappointed. The food is just way overpriced for what you get. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was so greasy that I couldn't hold on to it to eat it. Let me be clear, my issue was not with the fat that was in the burger but the fact that there was so much grease that I could not hold on to it to eat it and what I did eat didn't settle well as it was too much grease. I ate less than half of it. My husband had the fish & chips and ended up sick from the food a little while later. The waiter took off my burger since I was unable to eat it and our bill for 2 people and only two drinks was over $120. The waiter was great and we left him a very nice tip as it was not his fault we were disappointed in the food. In my opinion the food is just not worth what it costs! I'm glad the owner thinks that I am just "Claiming" that my husband got sick from their fish and chips, but the fact is that was all he had eaten there and he was ill after. Take it how you want it but my husband ate their food and then got sick, not too many ways to interpret that. Sorry that he is disappointed in my review but that is the point of a review is to let the people know if there is/was an issue, not to blow smoke and appease everyone!

Basically, one of San Diego's truly great restaurants. This is comfort food done exceptionally well, burgers on a par with Hodads and Slaters, home style supper entrees on Sunday, and all of it presented and prepared to a very high level. The setting is exquisite, open-air even when you're inside with roll-up, garage door style windows, and one of the city's best patios, all in a high-class location. It will instantly feel like a vacation.

We love Jimmy's! Everytime we come to San Diego, Jimmy's is the first place we go to eat and have a beer, after checking into our hotel across the street :) Great selection of delicious food and drinks. We always get their homemade S&P chips with the best blue cheese dressing ever! The grilled shishito peppers are excellent :D Of the 6 nights we stayed in the Point Loma area of San Diego, we went there 3 times. Great atmosphere just to go and have a beer and relax! Fabulous views of the harbour and lots of outdoor seating! Fantastic service also

Squeezed in between a number of yacht clubs is this amazing joint..

We tried the Spicy California and Blues burgers! Both tasted fresh and came in sizable portions. The blues is a must if you even remotely enjoy blue cheese!

Server was attentive and knowledgeable.

Get the homemade potato chips

Bad customer service. Went to the bar around around 6 and two guys were working at the bar and sat there talking about basketball and didn't acknowledge us at all. After about 3 4 minutes passed I called out my order because no one was going to serve us otherwise :/. The atmosphere/view here is great and the drinks were well priced :)

I am in San Diego for a 5 hour layover and was on my way to Mitch s Seafood when my Uber driver recommended this place as better. It was about 9:30am when he dropped me off so I hung out in front until they opened. They opened at 10am and a line had already formed so about 2-3 people were ahead of me. The hostess sat me down outside on the patio overlooking the water which is very beautiful and gave me a menu and said my server would be out soon. After that not one person looked at me, offered me anything, took my order or asked if I had been taken care of. Even the hostess completely forgot about me. After trying to get someone s attention, being ignored and sitting for 22 mins I walked out. What a shame that I didn t get a chance to eat there, but I ended up walking to Mitch s which Was delicious.

Good food, good beer, good location. Waitress changed my tip, and I took a picture of it. Gave herself an extra $5.00 at my expense. Probably won't go again, unless I have cash on hand.

Awesome, flavorful food! Interesting cocktails! We started out for a social hour/birthday party and ended up staying for dinner. Staff treated us fine until we stayed longer than they thought we should have. Service became better when we ordered dinner on top of the starters and drinks. Should not have to wait or flag down folks for drinks or refills. Fix this and get five stars!

Fine place for tasty american food. Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. I will be back with my relatives. This place has a cool feel to it. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.

Let me start off by saying that the ambiance was amazing . We ate outside so we had a view of the ocean and the vibe was just right. I got the cowboy burger and my wife got the regular cheeseburger but it was all good and fresh and brought out in a timely manner. I would definately recommend you try this place. It was my first time there but definitely won't be my last

Love the food here! I had the fish and chips, it's delicious and very fresh. Hubby had the fish tacos and they were also very good. The service was so good, constantly checking to make sure we had everything we need and drinks were full. We went on a Friday night and only had to wait a few minutes. The prices were average for what we got. We will definitely be coming back soon
