Was car shopping and got the run around after run around called the dealership and Ken told me what to bring in and we did. He is very honest and does not sugar coat anything. He is not the average saleman at all very honest and real and will take care of you. If you need a car go check out Ken and he definitely will take care of you... Thanks against Ken

Don't know where to start, to much to say, Maserat...

Don't know where to start, to much to say, Maserati don't have anymore dealerships, so had to deal the the authorized dealership, there sales department is good for as buying a Maserati, but there service department is very knowledgeable and unprofessional about fixing them, don't waste your time with them on service, to make a long story short, got my car back worst then when I brought it in we will be going to claims court!!!!!

This is a reply to the response from the owner of Jim Butler Maserati, I know that this response is not from the owner because a owner would reach out to contact me directly, just as I tried to reach out, being a owner myself, you know the reason why the payment was revoked, is because you did not perform the work on my vehicle, giving me my vehicle back in a shape that to this day is unbelievable coming from a Maserati Dealership, you can sale Maserati cars, but you do not have the experience to work on them, as the Farrei Dealership is informing me as they fix what you have messed up, have all my documentation and ready to see you in court!

Ken Betts the best. He made my buying process the easiest I've ever had. But for the whole process from my phone call this morning to the signing of my contract this evening, everyone was so customer savvy. Ken explained everything that was going on from step one to the last step. I didn't have to sit and worry about what was going on with anything. I was acknowledged as I walked in the building. I didn't wait one minute to be seen. The environment was so comfortable. My 14 year old daughter was with me and she even asked Ken a question. He didn't hesitate to answer her about how the card got into the building and she was even able to actually see what he had explained to her. I am a very happy customer. I look forward to working with Jim Butler for years to come. Thanks Ken for great first impression. I am enjoying my new 2019 Cruze already.

I would like to express an astronomical gratification, to the experience at Jim Butler Maserati. It started off with a disappointing situation, regarding a car I really wanted, but it had some issues that could not be fixed to my satisfaction. However, they went above and beyond my expectation, and ended up offering me an even better car at an amazing deal. I would like to give special thank to my salesperson John Bouchet whom made me feel valued and showed sympathy for the loss of my mother-in-law. He deserve salesperson of the year, for exemplifying knowledge and patience. If you are ever in line for a car make sure you ask for John Bouchet he will make sure you are a satisfied customer. I had my first experience with the service department at Jim Butler Maserati and was left very pleased with the entire experience. My car was done on time, on budget, and I feel confident in the quality of the work completed. Also wanted to recognize my service advisor, Tristan, for keeping me updated on the progress of the work and for going above and beyond to make sure I had alternate transportation while my car was in the shop for a few days. The information was explained very simply for my sake, and they were very flexible to work with my needs and concerns!

The staff here is great beyond five stars. My sales guy Kyle is very polite, he listens well and meet all of my expectations. He treated me like a very important customer and didn't discriminate the fact that I was a woman. He made the experience of getting a vehicle from him very pleasant. I recommend him to anyone for whatever type of vehicle your looking to buy or lease.

To my car in to Jim Butler Maserati about 2 weeks ago, because I was not able to start my car from setting out in the cold, without starting it for over a month, I told my 2006 Maserati Quattroporte in to them. They had my car for a week without a call, so I call them for a update, I got a text message from Tristan the service rep saying I need a new battery, after replacing my battery, they told me my car was ready for pickup and is there any other concerns with the vehicle, I stated no, I got there to pick my vehicle up, Tristan pulled it around and gave me my key and said it was ready to go, I go to get in my car, the glove box is wide open with the light bulb hanging out and my dash board reads electrical system failure and system not program, I go back in to see why these things are present and they told me it was like that when it came in, all lies, not trustworthy, take your car somewhere else, poor, poor and inexperienced service dealership, will be going to small claims court!

Extremely fast and easy process getting a vehicle that I wanted and not what they wanted to put me in. If you want a great car with upfront and professional sales team, go see them. Purchased my vehicle from Ken 2019, that experience was easy and seamless. Vowed to only go back to the dealership for service and each time has been great from start to finish. I m confident that I will not be overcharged and receive the highest quality of service.
Most recently, during the pandemic, I felt safe and was well taken care of by the service manager, David, and his team. I m treated more like family instead of just a customer and for that I m extremely appreciative!

It wasn't a high dollar sale for them and we were treated as if we were making a major purchase. No pressure on anything and we were in and out in no time. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish at this dealership. They were very good at figuring out our needs and delivered right on. We met the GM Kyle at the auto show in January. He was very kind and told us all about the Maserati brand and his dealership. Found out that I worked with John Scariano who is the Used car Manager at the dealership. Told my wife that if we were going to buy a Maserati we would buy it from John. He was very approachable and easy to make the deal with. Scott the sales person was very professional and even came to our home to program the remote for the garage door. Jim in finance was very friendly and had our paper work done and explained everything very professionally. I wanted to buy 2 backpacks for my kids and the Parts department only had one...they overnighted another backpack for my kids from another store. Tristan was very much aware of the urgency we had since we are going on a trip soon and I wanted to surprise my kids. We met Tyler once when we wanted to test drive the car...and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was professional and answered all our questions that we had.

I recommend if you are not aware of the brand and are in a market for a luxury brand...This is one of the BEST DEALERSHIP...where customer service is awesome!!!!! Thank you team Maserati w/ Butler group.

Brett was amazing. Best service I ever received. He worked his hardest to find a car that is right for me. He explained everything very well. He is very patient and kind. I enjoyed working with Brett very much. Would definitely recommend more people to work with him.. Brett helped me arrive at great price and payments. It has a feature that I wanted the most, remote start. Not to mention it s a suv which is perfect space when traveling.. The whole experience at Jim Butler Maserati was amazing. Went in for an oil change, came out with a new car. Nope, completely unsolicited. No pressure, told them what car I wanted, they whisked it away, got it ready for delivery while I signed the paperwork. Easy Peasy. Sold me what I wanted without hassle. Then, I made a request for some extras. I brought my new car back a few days later so they could complete those things, and they gave me a loaner car for convenience while they took care of my new car. This is my second new car purchase from JBM. And I am looking forward to my next one in a few years! ;)

Salesman lied about the vehicle, prices offered were 10K below KBB value on trade in. Car for sale was 6k above KBB value. A lot of back and forth for a car that was on the lot over 6 months. My work phone number was entered as the primary number of contact when my cell was provided. Very unprofessional. Asked the salesman to speak to a manager and gave me the run around. Had to come in on the salesmans day off just to speak to the manager. Car had serious issues within first 200 miles. Service department couldn't even provide service records they had to do another inspection. Left a message with the service manager & sales manager. 2 days went by and no call back. Had to visit the dealership in person to get answers or anything accomplished. Finance manager made a mistake on the sales paperwork everything had to be re signed. I've bought over ten cars most from different dealerships. I bought my most expensive car here but had the worst experience.

I had the best experience at Jim Butler Maserati and I want everyone know if they are in the market for a car, especially a Maserati, they need to see Chance Kuhn. I relocated to St. Louis and have not owned a car for over 11 years and wanted something that was different from what most people drive. When I Googled Maserati in St. Louis Jim Butler popped up. I called late, got a voicemail, but decided not to leave a message. Almost immediately I received a call back from Chance and one of the best customer experiences I have ever had started from there. Believe me, I know what good customer service is, I am the General Manager for Neiman Marcus. I have never bought a car 3000 miles away without seeing it, but Chance made the experience seamless and gained my trust from the start. Once in St. Louis he picked me up at the airport and took me to see the car. Of course I had to have the car, it is beautiful...everything I wanted! I also have to give equal credit to Jim Hodgkins in the Finance Department...he was equally amazing and went out of his way to deliver a fantastic experience. Overall a PERFECT 10, 5 STAR experience from Chance and Jim! Thank you!!! One other note, I had to bring the car in to have some protection services done and the experience with the service department was terrific as well!

Despite have a very busy day and dealing with multiple work orders and an overcrowded parking lot of vehicles needing work, Steve Levitt took my car in for service without an appointment. He even sat down and took time out of his busy schedule to help research a question I had about my vehicle. Definitely one of the best dealership if not the best, bought a Maserati ghibli SQ 4 from Jim Butler Maserati after being denied from many places! The staff is very welcoming and honest! Especially Scott brink, he s not trying to sell you any car but a car you ll actually enjoy, same goes for all the staff! Service is great and they don t try to up sell you like many other dealerships stuff that you don t need, I m planning to buy my second Maserati from them or Alfa Romeo 4C from them because it s a dealership I can trust! I had an amazing experience at this dealership. Kurt is an awesome salesmen, very genuine and honest. I went up to the Jim butler dealership to specifically drive a 2017 Honda Civic lx. After the test drive I was not satisfied with the car so Kurt listened to my concerns then showed me an Elantra that was cheaper and exceeded my expectations. The employees at this dealership go above and beyond to make sure you buy the car you really want instead of just pushing an expensive car that you may not want onto you. They don t skip the little seemingly irrelevant things either. Other experiences with salesmen I ve walked away thinking they were all eh, but this dealership is different. Thanks guys!

Our recent experience at Jim Butler Maserati was wonderful! The ease of taking a test drive and the willingness of the team to work with our questions and trade indicated to us that this was the place we wanted to complete our purchase. We are so pleased with our new vehicle and our salesman Brett H has been wonderful even with a couple questions post purchase day. This dealership is also very COVID conscious and that was very important to us as we were shopping. We will definitely return when the time comes. Until then, we are happy to let everyone know this is a great dealership to consider when looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle.

I was lucky enough to get Scott Gilbert as my sales associate, we was great all the way through the process. He answered all my crazy questions about a car I was unfamiliar with, and he went above and beyond with his service even as far as to send me a live video of the car in its current condition and to hear it running. It was a very easy transaction and everyone was very courteous. I would highly recommend these fine folks to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. And make sure to find Scott... She ensured it was pristine on the inside and outside of the car when I came to look at it and test drive it. JB Service Department lack experienceand knowledge! In addition it s a small shop no bigger than a bathroom with minimum workers. I am So Glad I read another review suggesting GLB Motorworks. This company is awesome! All they work on is foreign vehicles and they do it for a reasonable price! I will be having my Maserati serviced here moving forward!

The sales experience was fine, easy, the follow up, and service after the sale is non existent, once sold they do not care. I left a total of 7 messages in the non human answered autonattend phone system, no one ever called me back. The temporary license plates that they issued were going to expire, I needed registration, they are in Missouri, I am in Illinois, so they use a third party licence title company to process Illinois registration, after 10 days of trying I was able to speak to someone, I was promised a return call from their license department Carol or Carolyn several times, never a return call. I eventually made contact with my salesperson who called me back with a phone number and stated maybe I could call and check with them on my registration, "No, You can call and check on them, usntvthat what the $200 administrative fee on each sale that they charge is for along with the 300 for Illinois registration, my salesman called the license bureau, and miraculously they would be mailed that day, upon further investigation I determined that the registration was not ordered until long after my purchase, causing the delay, which is fine if you communicate that to me, When I made my purchase I net the founding owner Jim Butler's son-in-law Bruce or Bill, who is a very nice polite businessman, I asked if I could have a number to contact him, I assumed he would like to know of my issue if nothing else to act like they cared, hang up and move on, I was told that the dealership is not allowed to give out his information, I inquired if he did not want to hear from his customers, I was told that he did not. I was told that my salesman, the GM, and him would meet and someone would call me back it's been 3 days guess what no call back, they said online reviews are very important to them, my suggestion there are many high end dealerships in the St Louis area, if you are looking for any service after the sale, Jim Butler Auto Group is not the place, you will be angry and dissapointed.

Worked with Chance to trade in my current lease to get an Audi. Once he knew what color combination I wanted, he had the car I truly wanted delivered! Outstanding experience and follow up and was pretty fair on pricing. If you're looking to trade up to a more "premium" car, I would start here. Other Audi, BMW, Mercedes dealerships will either laugh at you or insult you with a trade in offer.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Purchased a used van there recently. The service was great and I would do business there again. Everyone was very friendly and professional. In addition, there were some computer issues that made the process take a little longer but we were kept very well informed on what was going on and they made sure we were comfortable while we waited.

Next time I would be more diligent in looking over the vehicle. We made the mistake of not trying the 3rd row seats. One of them will not fold down. In my opinion, this should have been taken care of before the vehicle was listed for sale. My husband was able to find one small broken piece that needs fixed. We don't live close enough to take it back to have it fixed so we'll have it fixed locally.

Updated 2/11/21: The service after you walk out the door is not good. Multiple times I was told something was done and it was not.

Purchased a new 2019 Levante from Jim Butler Maser...

Purchased a new 2019 Levante from Jim Butler Maserati. Dealer told me they would match Bank Of American s rate with 2.99 percent from a local bank. Realized when I received paperwork the rate was 3.49. Was also told first 3 month payments were being waived, not true either. None of these were large issues as we normally pay our cars off in the first year so I ignored them as I was excited to get the vehicle.

The big issue is the vehicle started having trouble 3 days into owning it. It would lose power in the mornings, within the first 60 seconds of driving it. The power lose was so quick and severe it would cause us to fly forward in our seats. We have a 10 month old, this is not a safe worry to have with a new vehicle and a new baby. Then the check engine light came on. We were told to take the car to the local Maserati service center. We did, the first day it was there the original dealer s manager Jim tried to tell us this: I have become aware of your vehicle having an Evap situation. MOST Commonly caused by putting gas in the vehicle while running or the gas cap being left loose. A desperate hope on their end as neither of those things were true. The service center told us the evap value was replaced and that could have caused the issue. I drove the vehicle home and got up the next morning to test it after sitting all night, same jerking motion and to top it off the check engine light came back on and now the vehicle idles rough. I ve asked the dealer to allow the Levante to be returned for full purchase price.

Time to and from the dealer to drop car off: 3 hours
Time to and from the dealer to pick car up: 3 hours
Number of days car has been driver able 11 days out of 20.

My experience was great from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Kurt E. for getting me a new household vehicle. I was able to get a car with great mileage and still stay within my budget. This was my first time buying a car and Kurt made it easy. I would definitely go back for any future car purchases.

Kayla and Jim at Jim Butler Maserati couldn t have treated us any better. We inquired about a Lexus they had for sale and the process was easier than we could have ever expected. Kayla in the sales department made us feel super comfortable, and she really listened to our needs and wants! Once it was time to do the deal Jim in the finance department was a dream to work with also! Couldn t recommend them enough!

Terrible Experience, Employees that are very DECEP...

Terrible Experience, Employees that are very DECEPTIVE and condescending to women. They tell you one thing and then do another. And this is led by the service manager Dave and Tristen the service advisor.

120 days+ in shop later.

This car was bought as an anniversary present for my wife. It is very heartbreaking that instead of being able to enjoy the car and have it be a reminder of our anniversary and love- I am consistently frustrated and without the gift as it is having issues and being worked on constantly.

1. We purchased the car and wifi was on the build sheet stating that it had wifi. This is a major component and something that we require on all of our vehicles as we own our company and need to be connected during travel as our company is an internet based company and we need to be able to assist our customers. When test driving the vehicle we didn t see the wifi logo or a way to access the wifi on the maserati s screen. I Never was able to have wifi in the car. I found out that wifi isn t a capability or option for cars before 2020- and that they cannot be retroactive on cars before 2020. Why was sold on something that could NEVER be delivered???

2. I had my rear brakes, rotors, rear tires put on the car as part of a normal maintenance- and the Maserati tech or the service techs didn t tighten down my screw and I was losing brake fluid and functionality. This seriously has made me lose all confidence in the dealership and my safety. I am extremely paranoid every time the dealership does something to my car because I can t trust that it was done correctly and that I am safe.

3. The car had a couple parts that have failed and has allowed water leaking/flooding in the back seat floor board. The parts were fixed but my records will show that there was substantial water in the back seat/floor area of the car and that will be an issue when I Sell the car.

4. I had the front tires replaced and an alignment done- nothing was wrong with the alignment- I had requested it be completed as the car was a couple years old and it is suggested when putting on new tires. When I got my car back the car was pulling to the left very badly.

5. ALSO its extremely terrifying when the doors automatically open while driving down the road.

6. The most recent was when the check engine light came on- this was for a pretty big issue- the valve timing solenoids and the dealership put used oil back into my car. I don t care the amount whether it was 9 qts, or 9 oz. If there was something in the oil that could have caused an issue- then:
1. Why would you leave the oil in the car instead of replacing with new oil
2. Why would you put used oil back in- I have never heard of this before- and I cannot confirm that there were no external components that contaminated the oil that they took out-while it was out of the engine and put back in.

And this is only a small portion of the issues.

Dave the service manager called to tell us he would take care of the NEXT service on the vehicle after complaining about the oil change only to get there and things be changed yet again to only being an oil change vs the whole service that they said would be done. Again another classic example of being told one thing and another being done. I called him to discuss it only to be told that's not what he said and he wasn't going to argue with me over the phone. Great customer experience there.

What an experience!

What an experience!
My wife and I live in FL and were looking for a new vehicle. Brett responded expeditiously to my questions and texts. He made this buying experience effortless and efficient. This dealer was so wonderful, we flew from FL to pick up this car; he even picked us up from airport! Jim arranged most of the paperwork to be done online, making our transaction and time spent at the dealer swift and pleasant. I would recommend this dealer, hands down, and would definitely buy from them again.
We made it safe and sound back to FL and can t thank you enough for your commitment to quality service.

Was in the market for a car with low mileage. Well I found it at Jim butler Maserati. My salesperson Mr. Ken Betts this man deserves alot of credit. Ken treated my like a valued customer. Never stopped trying to get me the best deal possible. The sales manager and everyone I came in contact with Saturday 8/3/19. Treated me very well. I would recommend Jim Butler Maserati. My wife and I walked in wanting a very specific vehicle. Scott Brink (our salesman) really bent over backward to find the car we wanted. Then Jim Hodgkins, got us financed with a very reasonable rate. We have not bought a car in a long time and were very relieved at the deal we got. Way to go guys. Highly recommended.

I would never suggest anybody buy any car from these guys unfortunately. Horrible experience.

So the only reason I posted this was to see if I would get a response quicker here rather than waiting on a call or even an email from Jim (gsm) and I did.

The team there is actually pretty good it's Jim (gsm) that has a very smug attitude and LIES for no apparent reason - I'm sure Jim is responding to these reviews as I never met any owner. If fixing issues with a Maserati you sold me is jumping through hoops then sure you jumped through hoops.

Your post shows the rampant unprofessionalism you've demonstrated over the past few months.
