I give it three stars because the staff was friendly enough compared to competitors and prices were reasonable. However following a phone call I gave after noticing, they had said they do admit that they should have told me about the fact that getting efficient windows does tend to have a green tint to the glass. Unfortunately you don't fully notice it until you open your windows and there's a very distinct green (see attached photo). I'm all for efficiency, but the green that comes along with it is not something I'll choose for the rest of my windows, or at least with this manufacturer.

We had Carol come out to give us an estimate on renovating our kitchen in August 2019. In October we emailed to see if she had an estimate and she replied that she was working on it. Never heard another word. They couldn't even give us the courtesy of telling us no.

Ghosting is for teenagers not businesses who want to maintain a good reputation.

Recently had replacement windows on the south side of our home. Extremely happy with all the service provided from the quote to the installation. WDM also replaced our countertop several years ago and did great work at that time too. Highly recommend TV this company!

They are NOT what they used to be. Could not put everything down that went wrong so let's just say . If it could go wrong it did and according to their scheduler I am a lier.

Windows Doors & More is a company that we would higly recommend for all of your home renovation needs. From the smallest jobs to huge and overehelming jobs, they do it all. The people who work for Windows Doors & More are great to work with. From the time of your initial inquiry to the end of the job they are thorough, client oriented, and precise. We appreciate all they have done and will continue to do for us and our home.

They'll incorrectly install your shower then beat around the bush fixing it correctly and disappear

I recently moved and wanted to buy from locally owned companies.I paid twice as much than a box store and did not see much difference. In fact, the screens were flimsy. I would never use this company again. I was, however, happy with all of the other local companies, ie Best Blinds, Kaliediscope etc.

We had a problem with the windows we purchased a few years ago and Steve Walker came over and helped us and answered any questions I had. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional.

WD&M is great. Quality craftsmanship and great products. The sales/design staff are very helpful. Highly recommend.

We had four companies give us estimates for windows. Windows Doors & More was not the cheapest but their product was by far the best. This was an investment and quality is important to me. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with from the salesman to the crew. We had some issues and they were taken care of with an excellent result. I would highly recommend them!

I should of read their reviews before approaching this place!

I purchased a great lakes patio sliding door from Windows doors and more because I used to work for the same company that he did called Home Guard when it was in fort Wayne and it was my hope that I would be treated well since I help build some of the products that he sold I purchase the patio door when they were still in the northcrest shopping center and the people that I bought the door from a husband and wife treated me well and I had knew from Home Guard but they only sent one installer out and I actually had to help him remove the old door because it was old and very heavy and helped installed the new one also the patio door itself is a decent product I had some issues with lock failure and the screen door rollers and what I would call a lock hing for the screen lock and the mini blinds had problems with the the pull string mechanism most of the problems happened around the ten year mark on the plus side the glass never leaked and it sealed well but the last issue I had getting parts for the mini blind pulley the customer service / parts person told me that Kevin Hunter said I had to go through great lakes because they weren't standing behind the product anymore and every time I hear one of their commercials about how they stand behind their products and service during and after the sale sure wasn't true for me I think they were a better company when they were trying to get established but I don't feel it's the same company anymore I would look around before you decide to go with Windows doors and More.

We visited the store on Dec 30th and met with a gentleman to go over what we were looking for. We left that day and were told we would be contacted in the next couple of weeks about our estimate. We didn t hear anything back and wondered what was going on. We come home one day to our plans in between our front door. My husband calls the company to ask for our rep and was told he wasn t in when he asked if he could have his VM she hesitated and then said he doesn t work here anymore. My husband then asked if he could speak to someone else and the lady said he should really reach out to the guy we were working with to get direction. Ummm, ok, he no longer works there!! My husband called his cellphone left a VM with no response. He calls the company back to try to talk to someone else and the lady tells him she would have someone return our call. A few hours later the rep who no longer works there called back. My husband explains the plans that were dropped off were not what we discussed and went over the areas that were wrong. The guy agreed and said he would ask for our plans to be redrawn up and would have someone get us an estimate. Still waiting, no response, nothing and that was in January!! This is beyond the worst customer service we have experienced in a long time and will not do business with this place ever! You don t just drop people when someone leaves a job we were still potential clients, someone should have stepped in. Absolutely awful experience!!

We love the employees at WD&M & use their services for all of our home improvements!!!

Tim Tippman was here to review our window situation which had not been addressed properly in the past. Tim took it to the owner, Kevin Hunter, and within a week Kevin was at our door step and reviewed our situation and found we had issues and was on it within 72 hours. We are very pleased with the results of this situation. Thank you W D & M. would recommend for your window and door needs.

Kevin Hunter & his company helped bring dramatic improvement to my parent's old farm house. They got new siding, windows, doors, and even an electrical upgrade! Kevin selected teams to work on their house, and showed compassion towards a couple that wanted to remain in their home.
Any issues that came up were dealt with and remedied. They were also accommodating with re-scheduling, when a family member unexpectedly passed away.

Sad, I was getting ready to call and see about getting my house windows replaced, but after reading the reviews, I will check with another company.

We had them replace our roof and one window last year. What we love is the product, the financing, and the guy that installed the window did a great job. The problem is the guys they hired to install the roof. We spent several hours picking up the staples in the grass and we are still finding pieces of shingle in the landscaping. They also left ruts in the yard from their "buggy" and did minor damage to our fence. I did call them three times to complain since the salesman stated that with their "buggy" it would do no damage to our landscaping and all the roofing material would be caught by their "buggy". Unfortunately they never called me back or fixed the issue. All we wanted was acknowledgement of the issues and to have our yard rolled so that it would be even again.

Update 1/29/2015: The owner called me tonight and was very professional and apologetic with the issue we had with our roof install. He has agreed that the yard should be fixed by rolling it this spring to make it even again. I have upgraded this to "Like" since the main issue will be fixed. We will consider them again for windows and if we need anything will probably give them another chance.

Had a sliding door replaced today, & had interior blinds added to the glass. The installer was thorough, efficient, competent, polite, and personable. I probably held him up talking, but he listened and answered my questions. I did comparison pricing, for some places (not the home improvement stores), WD&M was extremely competitive. Thank you.

Disappointed this local company would choose to sponsor and promote a Tomi Lahren event here in Fort Wayne and support someone so polarizing and divisive. The people of Fort Wayne are better than this. I would not support this company after seeing this.

This is the best contractor I have ever worked with across any trade. WD&M replaced all of our windows at our lake home this winter. We didn t have an opportunity to get to the lake until Memorial Day weekend and to our surprise our house was perfectly clean and immaculate. We are now three months into lake season and haven t had a single issue with our new windows. WD&M even changed a sliding doorway into a large window and perfectly matched the interior Spanish laced walls and outdoor siding. The contractor, Tim Kinder, was extremely communicative and professional, I would recommend him to anyone. We looked at several other big name window companies and this company was a perfect choice.

Was going to get a quote but after reading recent reviews I will be going anywhere else

We hired this company to paint the interior of our house and they failed to tell us they have subcontractors that have subcontractors that are not equipped to paint wood trim or complete the job and this was a disaster. There was no supervision and no one spoke English so when we attempted to get them to use lighting and fans they did not understand. We provided the supervision on this job as well as the fans when the paint started to run with the amount of sweat on our plastic covered windows OMG!!! We are now attempting to be reimbursed for the repairs for damages to woodwork a pipe breaking causing a leak (drywall repairs) and believe this or not they painted custom trim and bunched it together before it was dry and of course, it stuck together. Like everyone on here, I should have looked at the reviews before we forked over all that money and trust me it was a huge amount! Incompetence all around.

Signed a contract on June 20th and had to put 1/3 payment down, also stated project would take 6-8 weeks and now here we are in to the second week of October and NOTHING is finished. Not even worth 1 star.

Made the mistake of getting in front of Windows Doors and More black Chevy truck hauling a Windows Doors and More trailer and he developed a huge amount of road rage nice workers

We stopped in last summer with blueprints in hand to talk about a room addition. We had a gentleman take the blueprints and gave us a promise that we would get a call. Never happened. We didn't get our blueprints back either. We chose not to pursue them. We felt that they weren't interested in our business.

Our salesman never contacted us with a quote after being at our home, measuring, and hearing own home improvement wishes. After three months of waiting, we called another contractor and had the job done within four weeks. WD&M seems to be more about advertising than delivering.

We have slowly had all of our windows replaced by Windows Doors and More since 2003. We are finally done and I have to say - just amazing! The installations went perfectly. They were the only window company willing to make a window for as large of an opening as we had in the living room. The other window places wanted to adjust the opening rather than make a window to fit. The difference in our heating and a/c bills are very noticeable. I would recommend them to anyone for their quality and professionalism.

My aunt and uncle well over a year ago contracted them for Windows siding and doors. Doors are still leaking water siding is still blowing off. WDM haven't contacted to fix them. Buyer beware don't go there
