Think you've got what it takes to conquer the routes because you go to the gym regularly and are in decent shape? Well put that pride away and think again! I didn't realize it initially since it was my first time bouldering, but I soon accepted that my strength was not going to be a trump card for routes beyond V3. You have to practice and master good technique and finesse to finish the harder routes. Pace yourself and take breaks because you will tire yourself out quickly in less than 2 hours if you attempt climb after climb.

I had a membership here for about a year. It's a great place to go for a fun, goal-oriented workout. Bring friends, climb, and grab a bite in DT Burbank afterwards. They have shoes and chalk you can rent if it's your first time. And if you want to augment your climbing workout, they have cardio equipment and a weight section, as well as yoga classes. The staff are also very friendly and helpful if you have any questions.

Here's where I'm docking points: it's a little smaller and doesn't have as much wall space as a few other locations such as L.A.B., and as such, can get pretty crowded if you go on a weekend morning. See picture.
The price of membership is also pretty steep. It was $81/month when I joined and they raised it to $84/month soon after. Cool.
Here's why I quit: I thought I could climb AND get some cardio in, but they only have two treadmills, and only one of them works. The other has been out of order for months, despite complaints. I can't justify spending that much per month for the *chance* of getting to run.

I'd recommend getting a day pass ($25) and seeing if you like it before signing up.

Pretty nice bouldering gym. 3 stars because I like to go back and forth between boulder and top rope and there is no top rope here. They do have a cave though that is pretty epic.
The training gym in the back is large for a climbing gym and is stocked with everything you could possibly need. From machines to weights to yoga equipment, they've got all bases covered.
$25 for a day pass, so more expensive than other gyms in the area. I have my own gear, so I didn't rent. But one person I was with forgot her shoes and couldn't climb at her normal level because there was zero traction left on the rentals (which were also literally falling apart at the seams).
I do love that they have an all gender bathroom! And the staff was very nice. But the place was packed on a Saturday morning, almost from the time they opened their doors.
Not sure I would return here unless I was going to an event.

There's a lot of variety for beginners which is the only thing I can really comment on. V0/1/2 felt appropriately labeled and everything was well maintained. Because there's so many routes to choose from it never felt crowded even with the amount of people that were there when I went.

I LOVE verdigo boulders. The facility is welcoming to every level of climber- from beginner to human spider
monkeys. The staff is super rad, they take out the time to get to know you and are always willing to help. The camaraderie amongst the climbers is infectious and supportive, which sets the tone for an environment to try anything from a v0 on! There is a ton of variations in the sets, and a workout room in the back that also offers classes and workshops. i m super stoked to be apart of the VB / Touchstone family.

Smaller and less varied than that other Touchstone gyms. It makes up for it by having easy and adequate free parking, and having only recently opened, the crowd has yet to pick up! And like its Touchstone gym siblings, it has clean facilities, friendly employees, and well planned routes. Will be coming back here often!

Super nice staff and great clean facilities. I went in not knowing a single thing about climbing and the staff was super helpful on getting me started. Lots of various weight equipment, kettlebells, squat racks, benches. Locker room has basic showers and is always kept very clean. Tons of walls. Lots of social people too and overall positivr vibe. Cant recommend this gym enough.

Gotta love when new routes are set so gotta be even more excited to have a whole new gym to play in! Close to work so who needs to eat during lunch anymore?! There's a parking garage that's attached so it's super convenient. Walkable to shops/restaurants/movies for winding down afterwards. Too bad there's no top rope. We need one on the east side! Cliffs of Id can be a trek.

This was a fantastic rock climbing experience. It is a massive gym. The price is moderate-high, $20 before 1pm, $25 after, and $4 for shoes. As a beginner who does not rock climb frequently, it had many good beginner routes. There is also a small regular gym in it as well as multiple small workout areas. Really impressive.

Had a fun time here. The routes are challenging but without top rope it doesn't leave a ton of stuff to do. They have a lot of exercise equipment but I wouldn't pay $80+ a month for a climbing gym membership that only offers bouldering.

Friendly and helpful staff. The gym is well maintained and there are showers and lockers if needed. The sets are fun but the gym is on the smaller side. Parking is usually pleantiful in the structure.

My son and I had a ton of fun here. The grading on some problems is a little soft (I'm a solid v2-3 climber and I flashed a labeled v4 with zero effort). The place is clean and well looked after. I will come back when I'm in town next.

Nice gym with cool LEDs in the overhang section. Bouldering only, no ropes.

Day Pass is $20 before 3pm, $25 after and on weekends.
Shoe rental is $4, harness and chalk are about the same.
Memberships are $81 a month, after a $100 initiation fee.
Memberships get you access to their other 3 locations, all part of the Touchstone Gyms. You also get a free guest pass every month, while last Friday of each month is bonus guest pass day!

Lots of space (infinite problems and room for holds), clean amenities, friendly staff.

I wish their were more weights and machines, but it's a climbing gym first. I found the bouldering problems to be just slightly easier than at my usual Touchstone, but I might just be better at bouldering d:

I come here 2 or 3 days a week at lunch to run on the treadmill or climb. It keeps me healthy and happy. No top roping but tons of boulder problems. They change the routes often so I never get bored. I love that the staff ALWAYS greets me and says goodbye. The locker rooms are super nice and clean. This place makes me feel positive and recharged. I love the kindness wall. I appreciate the care they show to make sure climbing is an inclusive sport that remains open to women, LGBTA folks, and non binary climbers. The app to login makes everything convenient to check in without having to remember your card. I also love the thoughtful details like the fact that they supply lotion, bandaids, tampons, and other essentials. Basically this is a super well cared for business that is always trying new ways to be great. Its a safe space to sharpen your skills and have fun. 10/10

Im a regular climber visiting this place for the first time, and I thought the gym was good! The problems are a little soft but pretty well thought out and flowed well around the v4-v6 range. The gym was clean and people were actually friendly. There aren t as many inclined walls as the other gyms and the overall level of climbs was on the lower side, but it was still fun and challenging enough, and I m sure newer climbers would be less intimidated with shorter and flatter walls.

I enjoyed this spot more than LAB or Hollywood Boulders as a first impression.

Relatively smaller gym than other Touchstone gyms. Best parking though! Doesn't get too crowded yet. Needs more routes. No gym equipment yet as of March 2018. Convenient climbing if your around the area...

Verdigo boulders is a small rock bouldering gym. You won't find a friendlier one in LA. The staff is amazing, and if you talk to fellow climbers you'll find an open happy vibe. The route setting is fantastic, and they are always switching up the climbs. This place is my happy place.

My friend SZ had this phase where she was really into bouldering and had a membership here, so she brought me here once to use her free guest pass. They have a somewhat small parking lot but we were able to snag the last open parking spot. Since it was my first time here I had to sign a waiver on one of their iPads (so high tech!) and I rented shoes from the guy at the counter. They have lockers upstairs next to the restrooms so we put our stuff in there and came back down to boulder.

Staffs are so friendly and very helpful and informative especially to beginner like myself. The facility is new and so clean. It's never overly crowded and so many different levels to try.

Used to be pretty solid but over the past month they've basically turned into such a specialized club that you can't even take advantage of your expensive membership. The same puzzles have been up forever, they replaced one of the largest walls with only jumps (which very few people can do), and after driving half an hour to climb today I found out that most of it is closed due to a competition 2 days in advance.... So even if you aren't interested in competing you still can't climb. After months of construction, five trips with super limited options that I've already completed and now the majority of the gym being closed for super-specialized advanced nieche things, I'm really not sure it's worth it.

It's definitely smaller than the other gyms and lacks a little bit of variety in climbs. Its still great to finally have a climbing gym in that area and to get a quick workout in. Perfect for lunch climbs. It's also never really as crowded as it gets in LAB, which is great.
