Right on the beach. Accommodations and service was great. Valet service was hit and miss though but not bad enough to to take away a review star.

Had a beautiful relaxing getaway. The beach is amazing. The staff is friendly the restaurant has excellent food. Great pool.Had a beachfront room....amazing! I will definitely be returning as often as I can!

Our stay at Surf and Sand resort was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and always makes sure your needs are meet efficiently. The staff service for house keeping, turndown, valet, dinning, and engenering are very friendly and are quick to bring any items that you may need. It was a lovely experience and would recommend the stay to any of those that love a beach front view.

Visited for a wedding, seems to be a great location for summer outing.

Splashes at Surf and Sand is an amazing restaurant. Service, food and atmosphere are all top notch. Given the level of fare, the pricing is actually reasonable. They have a well-balanced menu, decent wine list, and amazing desserts.

Beautiful one of kind ocean views and very enchanting place the words cant Express ,just the sound and sight of the hotel on the sea is magical especially at night for the awesome sounds n day time for the marvelous sights.

Love this hotel, stay there every year. Only thing is the fans in the rooms tend to be low, try not to hurt yourself

If you want a place to relax right on the beach were the waves crash at your feet, you have to give this place a try.

Totally iconic SoCal resort! The staff is incredible and their attention to detail is flawless. They anticipate your needs before you do. Enjoyed several meals on the property, unique and very good. Of course, an oceanfront balcony over the crashing surf is the icing on the cake! Well done, Surf and Sand!

We stayed in one of their newly updated rooms on the ninth floor overlooking the ocean and everything was perfect. The room layout was inviting us to the ocean and balcony. The bed was very comfortable and had views of the ocean. The bathtub area had a sliding window for good views of the ocean. The sliding doors are mirrored on the outside for added privacy. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast were perfect and inspired. We also enjoyed the beach directly outside the resort. Perfect anniversary

Excellent lifts.Best beds ever.Wonderful bed linen too.I'm not trying to be funny. It's the little things that count.Everything was perfect ... but the lift service was really outstanding.

Great food, nice spa, lovely views and sunsets, and plenty to do.

The service was clean but the rooms were average. They coulda veen cleaner and paid more attention to details.

Our family had an amazing stay at Surf and Sand Resort. Everyone was great and seemed happy to work there. The valet gentleman with red hair was so nice and helpful. We had a beach front room literally right above the beach.. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The pool was nice and warm. The kids had fun playing at the beach. Can't say I have any complaints. Can't wait to go back.

Overall great experience but at the end the only thing that really tainted it was the fact that they messed up our cupcakes from our wedding when they stored them and they were all smashed and upside down, and when we specifically asked him to freeze our cake they did not which was very inconvenient because we were traveling.

Very friendly staff, great location and their restaurant has a good selection. The views and beach access here is wounderful.

This is the third time of being there on a special occasion with a reservation and a request for a special table. They even tell you on the phone that if you come after a certain time they'll be able to accommodate you so we got are reservations done after 8.30 p.m. when we got there same story ... table is not available.. they put you in a area that is noisy and has absolutely no special occasion about it. Then they make you wait for that table and when you finally get the table it's almost like they're doing you a favor.

Highly recommend. There's no words to describe, just try it.

Special restaurant by the beach. The sight of the waves, surfsers and dolphins add to the beautiful setting. SImple eiegance mix well with informal atmosphere. Outstanding, pleasant service from waiters from around the world. The sommelier is pleasant, helpful and down to earth. The food selection from the lunch menu is enticing, the bread and olives spread tasty and abundant. We ordered four different dishes from eggs Benedictine to salads, all flavorful and nicely presented. Deserts are delicious also.
The place is pricy but you get your money worth in location, service and excellent food.

Staff were very nice and helpful, the location and view were stellar. The room amenities and appointments were average to a little above average. We got a discounted rate so I would give it 4 stars. But if I had to pay full rate, I'd probably give it three and a half stars

Beautiful hotel and grounds with the best Ocean Views imaginable!

Best staff from bellhops to concierge, from restaurant waitstaff to front desk attendant. Gorgeous views, cant be beat. Not a bad room in the house. Midday to late afternoon the sun causes room to be quite warm, but we just opened up both doors for a cross breeze and we were fine. They are upgrading and adding AC, I think it is unnecessary. Clean, full-service resort. Beach access by stairs; poolside.there are wonderful lounges and gazebos with full ocean view. Bring your nice camera, you will want sunrise and sunset photos! Patio area with fireplace and multiple firepits with plush seating; we ate takeaway for dinner and enjoyed coffee and morning goodies from the onsite coffee shop. Hotel gift shop has lots of beautiful things which are reasonably priced. Had an amazing getaway with in laws and all our kiddos for fall break.
PS nearby tidepools are amazing, visit at low tide. See concierge for details and a map. To-go delicious Italian food was found at Gina's, great Mexican dinner at Avila's, and breakfast at Penguin Cafe were some of the favorites.

Oceanside lounge with firepits and light menu. Great service. No rush. Good for long visit with friends.

Pros: amazing location and incredible views, can walk right out onto the ocean. Cons: for the price point, the rooms are generally worn and ours was especially grubby, staff seemed overwhelmed at times, and the pool is incredibly small and was so packed during our stay that we could not use it. Understand a renovation is in the works.

I have always wanted to stay at this place. But my recent interaction has completelychanged my mind. They illegally and fraudulent double charged my credit card for a 2 day reservation $1,601.16. When their policy states they will only charge for one night to hold reservation. Additionally, they charged over more than the original stay cost. The hotel never sent me a confirmation of the reservation to this day. only to charge for a stay reserved 3 months out. They still have not responded to me about the double charges or my refund. They have raven reviews, but their reservation process is poor, they don't follow their own policies and customer follow-up is pitiful. Last, they steal your money by double charging your credit card. STAY AWAY FROM HOTELS LIKE THIS.

Awesome views. Excellent service! Blankets for the more chilly days on the water. The server made my nachos vegan! And truffle fries without cheese we're amazing. Would be the best if they had one or two exclusively vegan options or even a vegan menu!

Proposed to my girlfriend here and she said yes , staff is so generous and hard working . Beautiful views

Went here to eat and wass disappointed in the food. We orders Philly cheese steak sandwiches and the menu photo did not look like the item. It was a little bit of beef on a hot dog buns. Is this worth 250 baht? Stay away from this place.

The view! I went to take in Splashes, there was good service, strong drinks, and the view !! It goes through the winter because there are fewer people.

We may have just gotten a bad room but was not as expected given the cost. Super noisy, could hear neighbors next door and above and the room itself was a bit outdated. Ocean view was mostly blocked by another building.

I wanted to love this hotel so badly, it s right on the sand, everyone seemed amazing working at the hotel. Once we left we were later charged RIDICULOUS amounts of hidden charges. Even for our service animal we showed identification for and signed paperwork they still charged $200 and refused to refund this. Also the cafe double charged for a meal, they charged my card AND our room... so disappointed with this situation & then continued to handle the situation afterwards. Stressful for no reason. Luckily Austin the manager ended up fixing everything in the end it would have been 5 star but dealing with the wrong people in accounting put a bad taste in our mouth.

They kept charging our card for other people's food and hotel rooms. It was awful service for how much it was a night.

Pacific Perk is great! Very nice barista. Great coffee with an amazing view.

Location Location Location.. Absolutely perfect.. Clean, quiet and amazing restaurants. Just be sure to ask for a room with air conditioning. Only 8 in the whole place

Beautiful up scale full service hotel right on PCH in Laguna Beach. Rooms have amazing views overlooking the ocean. Staff was courteous, friendly and competent. Rooms were spacious with full amenities. Food was second to none. The British gals at concierge were a treat and very informative and helpful. Amazing hotel, amazing amenities and amazing staff. Right on the beach. Hotel heaven.

Service was slow, but the view made it all tolerable.

My company uses this resort for our annual sales conference and the staff is marvelous. We get great food, excellent beverages, amazing service and it seems as if they were always ready for any need that may have risen. We had a party after the conference and the appetizers were fantastic. But also the view and location is second to none.

I used to go to Laguna Beach about 10 years ago... I've never stayed at the surf and sand however this time I did and it was beautiful our Room was nice , we had ocean view ,valet parking, room service And we also had a pool boy bring us chairs umbrellas towels when we laid on the beach. The staff was excellent . I highly recommend Surf and sand.

Went here to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday. The waiters were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed so long, we moved tables twice, but the servers made us feel very welcome with no complaints. We were right on the water with a beautiful view. All in all, a fantastic way to spend a Sunday.
