Great location, good restaurants but miss on the comfort. No shower curtains in bathroom so I had to take a bath making it longer process than a quick shower for a busy day.

This resort is so nice! There's a bar on the bottom floor and when you sit at the bar, you're right in front of the ocean. You can walk out to the ocean from the restaurant downstairs. It's a very luxurious place to stay at.

Best place to get a paddle before you start your day at La Vida Laguna. Great staff on hand at this Beach Front resort! Cannot beat the location.

Price seems bit high but it has a priceless view. You can't get any closer to the ocean than this. I have to say tho.. At the counter. There were only two people working so we had to wait a little and receptionists seem little busy and maybe little rude to us. However all other service were excellent. When i called for something from front desk, room service, and vallet parking, they took care of it very nicely. It was an awesome experience for sure.

Could not ask for more. The views are unbelievable, the rooms are great, the restaurant is delicious, and all of the employees that we have encountered are extremely nice and have gone above and beyond exceptional service.

This place is just bonkers beautiful. If you don t stay in the towers, which they really push you to do, you get to basically sleep over the water. Which is nothing short of heaven. The property is gorgeous. The staff is friendly. The pool was awesome. Most everything is within walking distance too. You won t be disappointed!

Excellent service. Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the premises and we werent even staying there.

We visited Laguna Beach for the afternoon and decided to enjoy lunch with the kiddos by the pool at the Surf and Sand Resort. The kids burgers are regular size (so they are large enough for an adult). We ordered the fruit instead of fries for the burger meals and we were pleasantly surprised as to the quality and selection of fruits (pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) there was none of the typical melon fruit you normally get when you ask for fruit. The burgers were tasty and had good buns. The chicken strips and fries were also good. The pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and long soft bench seats. The kids loved the pool too. It was heated and there was also a hot tub to enjoy. There's a wet bar and they serve spirits, brews and wines. We will consider staying at this hotel in the future.

Service is impeccable and when they say you re by the beach, you re literally on the beach.

Amazingly beautiful place to stay. The staff is very attentive and professional. The food is fabulous and it couldn't be in a better location on the beach. I visit at least once a year and I'm never disappointed.

Cannot beat the view or service. Kai bath products in room. Walkable to all of Laguna. Best spot for a staycation.

The massage was very good, the spa facility was outdated and somewhat dirty. Dinner at Splashes was Excellent.

Set on 500 feet of Pacific beachfront, this lavish resort is a mile from Main Beach park and 9 miles from upscale Fashion Island .

My husband and I had lunch at splash their restaurant, Delicious food

Pool area is too small and always completely full. We came at 2:30 pm and couldn t eat or drink, because the restaurant stars work at 5 pm and bar at 4 pm. The small bar next to the pool also was overfull. It s like a cheap Mexican resort. There are at the pool a lot of people who are not from this hotel. They took off our towels while we swam and tried to steal our things. Where does the security look ???

Spent our anniversary weekend here and loved it. Our room was luxurious with a comfy bed and literally, it was like being on the beach because you could hear the surf all night. So relaxing. The room was just above the beach and surf. I can't imagine a better location in Laguna. We also shopped in the gift shop which was cute, got goodies in the attached coffee shop; loved the chocolate covered strawberries and zuchinni bread. We ordered room service breakfast one morning and it came quickly and was delicious. All the staff was very attentive; from being greeted and helped by the valet staff who were cordial and quick, to seeing staff around the resort who were always ready with a smile and to offer assistance with towels or drinks at the pool or directions. Top notch is the phrase that comes to mind. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

It is a cool Resort right on the beach. You can choose: pool or Ocean. The view is awesome either way.
(I have not tried any food bcs it's pricey). I am sure it's all good.

he service is friendly and attentive and food excellent . We shared the Blackened chicken Nachos which were out of the world. The restaurant is equally top notch.

Went here for the Splashes restaurant. Food was very good if a little pricey. Nice view and atmosphere.

I gave four stars because I really did like the hotel staff, everyone was so nice but personally this hotel is not for me. I love hearing the waves of the ocean but this was an overkill, to the point that the hotel gives you earplugs. I am not sure if it is the way the building is positioned to the ocean or what but the ocean crashes against the building. You can hear it even when the arcadia window doors are closed. This brings me to the second issue. We visited the third week of July and it was very warm during the day so the room gets very warm, especially if you have to close the door to sleep. There is no air conditioning so it was a bit miserable at times.

Top notch. Unbelievable service. They went WAY above and beyond to make our experience great. The hotel is also surrounded by incredible dining and shopping. The beach is well manicured and very inviting.

I definitely recommend you check it out.

Stayed in Laguna Beach in this fantastic spot, relaxing and cozy. Even if the room was at the lower floor the sight is special.

My wife and I were at the outside bar on a Friday evening. We sat for 15 min and was never approached by the server, the table has not been cleared from the previous guest, and the live music ended at 8:30pm.

Drinks were really pricey... 8.00 for a beer, 10.00 for a glass of bubbly, and 16.00 for a "specialty" cocktail. It probably doesn't matter floor most guests because everyone was pretty well lubricated.

Overall this was a pretty poor experience from the resort where we spent our wedding night.

Amazing location, amazing staff, amazing service. We checked in on Friday to catch a sunset right on the beach, the staff was kind enough to hold a room with a view of the ocean for us! The room was just perfect besides the fact that the hotel does not have AC. Everything other than that was terrific

The resort sits right on the beach, so the view is beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff at the resort is very helpful. My only complaint is that there is only valet parking for hotel guests which is 30$. Steep.

Tomato burrata salad was huge but dressing was salty. Fried octopus, scallops and burgers were great. Flat bread was ok. Staff nice. Cocktails super expensive! Valet parking only

Beautiful property in a beautiful city. This is the good life. The staff is attentative and the sunsets are amazing. Highly recommend this propertty for events or overnight guests.

Ocean view resort with beautiful rooms that overlooks the ocean. The facility has a very relaxed feel so definitely a place to get away from the hustle of life.
