Nice view both indoor and outdoor of lake. Easy trail to view wild life
Nice view both indoor and outdoor of lake. Easy trail to view wild life
The 1950s theme was a bit odd. Each room had a separate outdoor entrance. No TVs in the rooms.
This lodge has a great view of Jackson Lake! Pretty expensive though
Oh my goodness! If you can afford it stay in the lodge. You will be disappointed if you stay in the classic cottage. The food at the grill is super! The lobby is out of this world.
We really enjoyed our stay at Jackson Lake Lodge. We stayed two different nights about a week apart. One night was in a standard cottage. It was very nice, spacious and had great amenities. There was a bit of noise (popping and creaking) as the room cooled down during the night. The other night was in a room with a view of the Teton range. This room was awesome. The balcony overlooked a large area of flat land with quite a bit of wild life. Beyond that was the lake and then the Tetons. We were able to watch both the sunset behind and the sunrise on the Tetons right from the room.
Incredible. The views of the Tetons from the main lobby and deck are gorgeous. Rooms are nice and good dinning options.
Great place! Everything at your fingertips! From the magnificent Teton mountains to restaurants, horses, a pool and even a clinic
The bar and the grill restaurants are more than decent and their gifts shops are great too. The rooms are a nice size, the view is amazing and even though it could be slightly cleaner I definitely recommend that place, it's great for families.
Good drink menu and a great view at the Heron Lounge.
Stopped for dinner. It was delicious. A bit pricey but that is too be expected. The views were amazing as well.
Very nice place to stay in Teton with stunning views from restaurant area.
Beautiful hotel. Nice staff. Great views. Lots of parking. Prices a little higher than I wanted for drinks and food but that is what you get in a National Park cut off from competition. Overall, a nice experience.
Only stopped for food and views. Excellent of both!
They let us attend church here. It was great, in the grizzly room
Can't beat the view whike having a drink...definitely make this a stop on your trip to the area.
Cool lodge. The view from the main lobby is great.
Excellent views liked the location overall. A little pricey though
Lodge is incredible the view through the large windows of the Teton Mts. Is astonishing. Stayed in a cabin clean and comfortable.
Cool place to view the Tetons and lodging and getting food is close by.
Beautiful view of the Tetons across the lake from the bar. Good wifi.
Loved the gift shops and the friendly service. Family friendly
Stunning lobby with a panoramic view of the Tetons. Murals dining room has good food and a breath taking view.
All you can eat barbecue was not a favorite stop for us, the price you pay I was expecting better but definitely was fond memories for the family anytime we eat barbecue now we seem to bring up this place in our conversations. But you should form your own opinion.
Beautiful view of the Tetons. Plenty of parking. Can't comment on the accommodation as I just walked to the viewing platform.
First the overwhelming positives, the lodge is in a fantastic location with views of the Teton range from the lobby and bar / restaurant. You can book loads of activities from the activity desk in the hotel, we did a superb horseback ride and a very good rafting experience. Both of these sell out so it's worth booking in advance. Dinner from the restaurant was great with a fantastic sunset and some wildlife sightings.
On the less positive side, the rooms themselves are nothing special. The accommodation is all outside the main lodge in rows of single story cabins in blocks of 2 or 3. The rooms themselves are adequate but nothing special, none have a good view and there's no a/c (as is common in National Parks). These rooms cost over $250 a night, which seems very steep for something that is quite basic (we paid less to have a lake view room in Crater Lake National Park) especially when the hotel know you'll likely spend money at the restaurant and on activities.
Still we very much enjoyed our time here, but if you're looking to spend that "Night in a National Park" there are cheaper options in other parks.
What a beautiful place. The lobby ceiling soars up 100 ft. The lobby's back wall is all windows showing Jackson Lake with Grand Tetons reflecting in the water. It was picture post card perfect. A must see. Even better from the deck outside. It was a "Kodak Moment".
A nice place to stay within the park. The rooms are only ho-hum, but the overall complex has everything you need. The service was friendly and generous and that really helped even out some of the cracks.
Jackson Lake Lodge is a beautiful setting offering unparalleled views of Jackson Lake, three restaurants (a diner, a regular restaurant and a bar) and gift/clothing stores. The main room has two giant fireplaces and 3-story floor-to-ceiling windows, and many comfy couches to lounge in.
"Customer service" provided by Darcy Lauer was absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. Her attitude and tone of voice was unacceptable. She should not be in a position where she is the face of the company. We arrived late (1/2 hour prior to check in rather than 45 min prior), our fault, I understand, but rather than a simple "I'm sorry, the 45 min window is firm" she sighed, rolled her eyes and was rude, condescending and completely un-empathetic. As a consultant who specializes in customer service training, I was appalled at her treatment of courteous customers. She should be fired; at minimum she should be placed in a position where she does not interact directly with clients! I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience, belittled, or scolded like a child. Due to the strict no refund policy, we rescheduled for later in the day but I'm dreading the return. If it weren't for my daughter who was in tears at the counter, we would not be returning. Shame on you Darcy Lauer and the company who hired you!
Fantastic views. Good service. Sit on the deck at the lounge and have a beer with a view
We just stopped in for supper and then decided to come back for breakfast. The beautiful lodge itself was worth stopping to see. The food was fantastic. Having eaten only camping food the previous several days did not sway my opinion in the least. Watching the sunset on the back patio was a inspirational experience. The girls loved shopping at the mall. I recommend the huckleberry margaritas.
We stayed in a cabin, and it smelled a bit damp. Otherwise it was great.
Location, location, location !! Architecture of this Classic Lodge is 1950's, I loved it. Had an awesome dinner in the Mural room, and our server Roy was on point. Diner has great food also. Picturesque views of the Tetons. But ... Our room smelled like the Diner below us, I called about my concerns three times and gave up because phone was busy. Mentioned this at check out and was told, "Many people complain about rooms down the hall but not your room, I will tell somebody." Believe me the room smelled like the Diner. We had room 23 on third floor. Manager did email me to apologize but too little too late.
I got a lapel pin here and a beverage. I also rolled around in the sprinkler and no one yelled at me, who could ask for more?
Modem Lodge right on Jackson Lake. Beautiful view of the Tetons
Food was good at the grill and the Mural room both. The wait staff were friendly and knew the menu well.
We stayed at the cottages which are nice inside even though the outside was not very attractive.
It would have been great if the landscaping crew had cleaned up all the loose grass around the sidewalks and entrance as we tracked all that inside.
The food, lodging, and service is all phenomenal here.
Nice place, but I was only there to get refreshments.
Not too bad but the cost is a bit high. It's the only real game in town do you have to pay a lot. The food was excellent as long as you don't do the buffet.
Went to eat but couldn't get in as only half the tables were filled.
Grand views of the Teton range and mild wildlife spotting from the longue
Fantastic staff. Food was better than I expected. Views were everything you hope for.
Great view for wildlife! I was in awwwww once we spotted the Moose and baby drinkin water! Great place for a hike.
I recently visited the Jackson Lake Lodge with my teenage boys. Of all the places in the Teton National Park, Jackson Lake Lodge had the best views. The patio area to look at the Tetons is huge. You can order food or drinks and sit outside and watch elk and moose. The restaurants are good, but pricey. The Pioneer Grill is the casual restaurant, which we used. Lots of options with large portions. The rooms are fine. Nothing great, but you will not be in them long. I found the bed to be comfortable.
On our RV trip out west to tour the national parks, we tried to have at least one really good meal a day, and an elegant one if possible. While in the Grand Tetons, we had a dinner at the Jackson Lake Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The scenery from the dining room was fantastic, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. There was plenty of parking so we could park the RV while we dined. Afterwards, we enjoyed perusing the gift shop.
The location is awesome and right by the lake. We went there for some drinks and the experience was pleasant.
Gorgeous location, beatiful old lodge, great little cabins, and good food +1
Every single time I have been to Jackson Lake Lodge, I have been highly impressed by everything. The food never disappoints at any of the restaurants. The rooms are great and have amazing views as well.
The lodge is absolutely beautiful with pristine views.
First night was rough because heat didn't work, but they made it right by upgrading our room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are, as to be expected in the park, outrageously expensive.
My favorite... Beautiful views great panoramic Horse Ride, floating and white water rides
Just had the worst stay. Flooded room and switched to a worse room. This place needs a major reno before charging $400
We did not stay here but after walking in, we wish we would have. The view from their lobby is stunning and the courtesy of the staff is amazing. A wonderful gift shop in here too which had a lot of unique items. Next trip, we will be staying here not only for the view but the amazing location with the parks.
Decent accommodations in the heart of Teton NP. We had a two queen beds (very comfortable) cottage for my wife and daughter and I. The room had a Kuereg and a dorm-sized refrigerator, but no microwave. Three large double hung windows were very nice, along g with a ceiling fan. No TV.
It's not a huge room and might get tight for a week, but it was nice for our three day stay.
Cell service is spotty, but wifi was decent and free.
It's cozy, food is great, vistas are spectacular. You can hike and see wildlife right outside the front door. It's small and not terribly overrun with crass tourists, and let's keep it that way!
You find the lodge in the middle of no where. At first the lodge looks like a normal lake Lodge, until you walk into the lobby. Probably the best view I've ever seen. The rooms are very clean. These rooms where better than the national Park rooms in Yellowstone. We would come back, just got the lobby view. we
Although the price is not cheap, the only place with good surrounding environment is here. But since you want to live here, of course, you must choose a room that faces the grassland and can see the sunrise and sunset of the Grand Teton Mountain. In addition to food and beverages in the hotel, there is also a free swimming pool, so you can take your children to consume your energy.
Room was clean, quaint, and overall fantastic. Did have an issue with the blue heron grill staff being inattentive (everyone on their phone avoiding eye contact instead of offering water or even menus for 15 minutes) but the other diner was good
A place I would recommend for business meetings. A terrific view of mountains from multiple locations of the lodge is the big USP. However, I would call this a very pricy location. Dining options are reasonable for a tourist location.
Stay was okay, for the most part clean. One of the chairs in our room had a giant mystery dark spot.
Very cool, been to Yellowstone almost every year, since I was 4 and I'm now 68. Never stopped at this lodge before.
I love visiting the lodge for the scenery and the diner inside.
It is very beautiful inside, and I didn't stay there but did shop and go to the restaurants, which had lots of variety.
Beautiful view, realible wifi, good pool. Evening BBQ was great!
Beautiful place. Only went around the area and took pictures. Did not have a chance to enjoy more of the wonderful view
Star is for Magnicient Scenery
We requested cottage Room with king bed
The room wasn t cleaned.
Coffee spills on floor
Bath area had dirt in corners of floor
We paid 354. Per night for room
Usually rooms this expensive have excellent service
I got up next morning and cleaned the floors myself
The towel was black ...literally
In talking this over with manager she said she was sending someone over to give room the white glove service
That did not happen
Floors were not vacuumed
Counters not wiped ?
Very disappointed
This property is managed by Vail resorts
I will not stay here again .
Good spot to view wildlife but way too expensive for what you get
Place was very dingy even the bedrooms didn't feel quite clean the complimentary shampoo felt like I poured wax on me and for the price they didn't even offer any kind of continental breakfast we will not return
Absolute exquisite views, friendly staff, delightful surroundings.
