Nice lodging, tasty food. Wish we had arranged to stay more than one night. Enjoyed GTLC scenic rafting and kayaking at nearby Colter Bay. Rooms were nicer than they look outside. High ceilings, confortable beds. Mural room at the lodge is stunning.

Lodging ok. Heat wave this week and the rooms were really hot and took the rooms a long time to cool down at night. The views from our room onto the lake were amazing. The food was good however the wait staff were not. They were incredibly slow and not attentive. One night after 10 minutes nobody waited us on so we hauled.

Very clean cottages, extremely friendly staff throughout the property and very family friendly. The views of the Grand Tetons are amazing everywhere on property. The amenities that are available here and extra activities offered are great as well. The location is great if you plan to do a day trip to Yellowstone. Fair warning- it is a little bit of a drive if you plan on going into the town of Jackson often. Great proximity to Coulter Bay and Jenny Lake. My only minor negative comment is that there are no laundry facilities on site, the closest is Coulter Bay (10 minute drive).

As a professional business man I feel it is necessary to warn others. First the good. Great views great service and food. Now the bad. We were greeted with no shower curtain. The following morning took an hour and set us behind in getting a curtain. The comment was that this was the 3rd this week that slipped by the housekeeping inspection. Ok I could have let the go. The following night after a family tour of Yellowstone we returned to a wide open door. Thankfully nothing was stolen. In all my years of traveling never have had this experience and the front desk brushed it off as nothing. If I owned this lodge I would have at least given a nights remittance and fired those accountable. They will learn the hard way. I can't wait till someone gets something valuable stolen. Total disgrace and it is not a laughing matter.

The lodge is beautiful and has a great view, but the rooms are old, have old windows and insufficient heating. So if you get caught in one of their random snow storms, you will be cold even with the heat on high.

Stayed for three nights. Didn't do any of the lodge sponsored activities (horseback riding, river rafting, biking, etc), but the desk was very helpful providing hiking trail maps. The food in the diner was great. The cottage rooms are old; some updates have been done, but minor things like wobbly lamps and rickety luggage stand still remind you of its age. The baseboard heaters were also difficult to adjust just right - there was no temperature indicated on the control, so we ended up too hot or too cold. Did have a mouse visit us the last night, but when surrounded by nature in a national park I guess that is understandable. Would have been disappointed overall in the accommodations if it weren't for the view. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing from our room!!! ( but most cottages are not so well situated, so choose carefully). Our cottage was on the second floor and had a huge picture window and covered balcony where we could see elk and moose in the distance! The view really made it.

Cottages 355 & 357 were clean, w/blow dryers, coffeemakers, small refrigerators, soap, shampoo, conditioner & body wash supplied. Beds & pillows were comfortable. These were located on the 2nd floor w/good sized rear balconies. Elk and moose were easy and frequent visitors.

One of the great lodges we have stayed at. Beautiful large windows overlooking the Tetons. Great food and great room service. Cottages are comfortable and clean. I needed a broken hair dryer replaced which was quickly attended to, by the room service within ten minutes.

We had lunch at the diner and breakfast at the Mural Room. Both had great service, good food, and appropriate decor. The back deck gave us great views of the mountains and the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful brunch here. We had been planning a one day sojourn outside of Jackson Hole. And we re heading to Montana and the Northern Gate of Yellowstone. We had no reservations, and called ahead from the road. Extremely accommodating staff, excellent brunch, and some beautiful views to take in while dining.

I d like to return for another visit. It was absolutely worth the stop.
