I ve been in and out of the dealership looking at vehicles for months. No pressure, but excellent support. Customer service was exceptional. As a result, I purchased 2 vehicles in the past 6 months. Andy and his team take customer service seriously through every step of the process from introductions to finance. Furthermore, the team cares about their products. An above-and-beyond example recently occurred when I found a rusted out scratch above my rear window - after I brought the vehicle home. I got a quote from an auto body shop and I was advised that Andy and his team will be helping me with the cost. This level of customer service is rarely present, but Andy and his team can be assured that my family will return for future business.

let me just start out that if I could rate this place as a zero, I definitely would. I called this morning because my Ford Fusion gear was stuck in park but the cars transmission was stuck in neutral. All my car could do was roll backwards because I was parking on a incline. I explained the problem to the operator and she directed me to the manager. I told him that I had googled the issue and that it was a recall on my car and wanted see about getting this taken care of immediately. He told me "if there was a recall you would have gotten a letter." He also told me that my car was out of warranty and that there was nothing he could do. I asked him so your'e telling me that I will have to out pocket the towing, rental, and repair. He told me yes. I called a towing company afterwards and they told me that my car might be under recall and to double check with Roberts Ford in Alton. Mike at the Alton Ford took my VIN number down and told me that there was not only one recall but two. The Collinsville Jack Schmitt Ford did not bother to look up this information for me at all. He was not helpful and demonstrated poor customer service. If you are interested in purchasing a Ford, go to the Roberts Ford in Alton

Not happy with Jack Schmitt of Woodriver, bought a 2018 car from them with 10,000 miles on only to find out after I bought the car that it had been in a accident and repainted on the right side, Clearcoat is starting to peel off already and they will not work with me at all to get it taken care of, I will not be going back and would not recommend this Dealership.

However, I felt I was talked down to as if I didn t understand how things worked or why I was there or that I had a Premium Warranty
After going to another dealership, i was getting very upset thinking i wasnt ever going to find a truck that suited my needs. Instantly meeting travis, i knew that i was going to really like him. He listened to my needs and want. He was eager to learn about me and my family and help me get what i wanted and not just p]0ut me in a vehicle. He wasnt there just to make money off of me, but there to really help me. He helped me get me where i needed my payments to be. Travis is a great guy, really down to earth! I purchased a 2017 Fiesta ST in black from Jack Schmitt Ford in Collinsville last May. The price on the car was great and I thought I was getting a great deal but later I learned why the car was priced so well.
I purchased the car on a very bright day with the sun directly overhead. Unbeknownst to me, the car had suffered a good amount of hail damage on the roof and was repaired improperly leaving scars. I couldn't see it at delivery because of the sun so I took the car home. Later, I noticed it and called a few times to talk to the sales manager. I finally got one and I asked her about the hail damage and what could be done to remedy the situation and the sales manager told me that I signed a hail damage release meaning they didn't have to do anything. I asked her to provide it to me from their sales records and she told me to go pound sand and also "If we made every customer completely happy we would go out of business." They knew the car had hail damage but never disclosed it to me in the sales process.
I now get to look at those scars every time I drive my car. I regret buying this car from this dealership.
Also, upon delivery, they ran the car through the car wash and installed some intense swirl marks on the hood. I complained and the salesman told me that it would just wash off. Yeah ok. They eventually fixed it. When they fixed it they installed a quarter size dent by the rear tail light. I had my preferred body shop take care of that
I also felt like they treated me as if I was dumb throughout the sale process.
If find a car that is a good deal, make sure you check every inch of it. I won't be shopping here again, for a car or for service.

Laurie was very friendly and helpful the couple times I test drove my now new focus st. Friendly staff and good customer service. Only had a small issue that arose upon delivery and the sales manager handled that the best he could. Overall good experience and am very happy with the vehicle itself.
I was needing a bigger vehicle because I m a foster parent of 4 kids. I was currently in a Chevy Cruze. My credit wasn t the best. After speaking one time with Dave Watkins, he gave me assurance that he would make sure that I would be able to get a vehicle that would fit my need. He stayed in touch with me. He let me know what I needed so that I could gather all of my information that would be needed even before my approval. I went to sleep believing that I would be in a vehicle soon. The very next day, I woke up to the great news that I was approved with Bad credit and all. I was able to get a crossover suv. He was the best salesman ever. His personality, and spirit, was so amazing. With my bad credit, he never made me feel bad about my current situation. He made it work in my favor! He s a great guy!

Dropped my truck off because of a ticking noise coming from the engine. Service could not figure it out so they called Ford. Final conclusion was that I needed head work done. I didn't like that answer so I took it to Auffenberg Ford. Service Tech put a stethoscope on left side of engine and then removed coil banks and discovered #8 spark plug was loose. Replaced coil and plug. Problem solved by Auffenberg Service! Service ticket said the coil and plug had to be replaced because of "improper installation." It was Jack Schmidt service dept. that had previously replaced the plugs and coils.
Very rude never get new stuff still have the same vehicles from last year what nice vehicles they do have they set outside and get scratch they don t even have a show room floor most terrible dealership I ve ever been too

I am pleased with the service I received from this dealership. My car broke down on a road trip and we had it towed to Jack Schmitt. They got to it as quickly as they could and had us back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. The work performed fixed the issue.
The tech was friendly and the service writer answered all the questions we had for him. We were a bit bothersome given that we needed to be on the road as quickly as possible and not once did the staff appear to be annoyed with how many times we called for an update.
The repair price was about what I expected for a dealership to charge. I did not ask for any of the parts back because I fully trust that they completed the repairs that they said they did.
Overall it was a good experience and if I were living in that part of the country I would have them service the car again.

We were looking to buy a used car. We found a car we liked. The price on the car was ok. Then when it came time to purchase the car the salesman turned into a grade A but head. He wanted to argue with my wife. The fees that were added on to the purchase price was out of this world. Not to mention we caught the salesman in a lie about the fees. I would not buy a used car from this dealership ever.
I found my experience to be very pleasing. Since the corona outbreak, it's hard to go places and be comfortable. Crystal Cannon, my salesperson, was warm, friendly, and professional. This is the first time I didn't feel like a vehicle was being pushed on me. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful.
Alex was great. Not pushy at all, patient, & knowledgeable. Gave me some floor mats at no charge. Also, took extra time to show me how to set up my stereo with android auto, and he followed up with me to make sure I was happy with everything. Very pleased with my car and the service received.

Poor service centered around abysmal communication. I expressed genuine interest in a vehicle; even applied for financing and spoke several times with a salesman.
No one called me back after several emails and messages. by the time I was able to finally get a hold of them, the vehicle sold. They took no accountability for their poor service.
Last week I continued the arduous task of finding a new/pre-owned vehicle. I had gone to several other dealerships in my local area but to no avail. All I got from those places were salesmen who tried to put me in a vehicle that they wanted me to have. One of them started working on a deal for a vehicle I had not ever seen or driven. Frustrated and disappointed, I began my online search. I saw a vehicle at Jack Schmitt Ford in Collinsville. I called and set an appointment with SCOTT NOSSER for the next day. Still disappointed from my previous experience, I reluctantly kept my appointment. I am glad I did. SCOTT NOSSER is an amazing consultant. He did not try to sell me anything. He listened to my desires and he went to work matching my wants to their inventory. He is NOT a salesman, he is a consultant. SCOTT and CHRIS in finance as well as the entire staff were pleasant, friendly and easy to work with. They made my buying experience the best I've ever had at any dealership, hands down. Every business everywhere should have a SCOTT NOSSER.

I booked an oil change two weeks ahead of time. I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment. 2 hours and 10 minutes later I got my car back for a simple oil change. Don't use their service.

Had one of the best car/truck buying experiences ever at Jack Schmitt Ford in Collinsville. Alex Garcia and Sales Manager John "J.R." Reilly found the vehicle I wanted in a couple of days, exactly the way I wanted it, and for a good and easily agreed upon price. No waiting for hours for an answer, no bull in the fiance department with Paul. Straight forward, excellent service that turned a process that I was dreading into a fun experience.
The managers of the repair shop were rude crass and very disrespectful. While other employees from other departments were very nice and helpful. It could be a good place if they had a chat about customer services with some of the older employees. The 30 min extra drive time to saint Louis is well worth it!

Moving cross country, O2 sensor went out. Jennifer did an excellent job of getting me in quickly, especially with my time restraints. Got the sensor replaced as soon as the part was available and got me back on the road. Her customer service was excellent. I never leave online reviews, but this employee definitely warranted one. The finance department had issues with our license plates, which we explained the name on the registration changed after we purchased the vehicle due to marriage, but did not listen to us. The man whom finished our loan was extremely pushy on a warranty we did not want. Told us to take our GAP insurance off and put the extended warranty on when we told him no he continued to tell us we need it and insisted we keep it. Then when I gave an example of a coworkers vehicle he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and so was my coworker. I felt belittled and pressured into add on purchases that I didn t not feel necessary.
