Had a great experience here, took my kids to see Santa. Also amazing products from clothing and accessories to parts. My grandfather is a motorcycle mechanic out in southern Oregon and orders his parts from J&P because of the quality.

Horrible experience. I will never purchase through J&P! I purchased the gold club membership which sounded like a great deal at the time. After collecting my money, my gold club status was never reflected on the website. I called customer service 4 times over the next five days and was told something completely different each time. During my last call I spoke with an individual named Holly who fed me a lot more excuses and smart a$$ remarks. Not knowing what her peers had told me prior, she insisted that she was correct and that I was wrong. She also wanted to make sure I knew she had been there for 6 years at the time of this posting. Her behavior was that of a toddler. She is the reason I HAD to cancel my membership. Don't waste your time with these children. Dennis Kirk for the win!!

Awesomesauce!! A bikers must visit map on outside of their store - and their staff was Uber knowledable/chill asked them about helmets n aftermarket pipes...it was #coolplace bought a 1/2 skull beanie!!
Knew of their online presence and just happened to be in area - highly recommend

I place an order. I was not notified that my order was canceled. I was waiting for it to arrive, when I finally looked into the shipping status and found out it was canceled. I am disappointed that I had to wait and find out this way.
Note that Google requires you to rate all three fields. I didn't get a product, so I can't speak to their quality. Nonetheless, I gave them zero.

Great place except for sometimes the employees just don't listen to you so when you tell him that you need a very very specific part and they order you the one that you said you absolutely didn't want its gets kind of frustrating

I ordered a set of road lights with mounting bar. They did not come with an install guide, so i had to look it up. Then the lamps came already sealed with bulbs and after 2 days of riding the cowl popped off the left lamp. I called the store and they referred me to the manufacturer of the lights. They would do nothing to help me out. I purchased almost $1000.00 worth of items from them on just that order. Im shocked this place is still in business with this kind of customer service.

Great staff. I drive 1.5 hr to shop here. Great hrs.i love that they are open on sundays. Was running 15 mins late due to my son taking for ever in the restroom. Called and explained my case and they were nice enough to stay open for me. Only thing is make sure you have the part number u need or u might get the wrong part

More to see than time to see Only 4 stars because if you purchase anything inside 1/2 hour to check out during their yearly, customer days. Just got back this year 2019 lot smaller than in the past. Staff was very helpful checking out only 15 minute

Out of the way, but worth it! They don't have much for my Triumph, but the staff is very helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Ordered up a tire to have shipped to my door and it came quickly in spite of holiday weekend. I'll be back... Thanks

I placed a motorcycle tire order on april 18,2020. Its april 23,2020 Dam thing is still being processed they took the money out of my account already on the 18th.. They wont give me a refund .. . this IS THE LAST TIME I EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM J&P CYCLES

Although the chat service was outstanding the J&P service Rep Gill was helpful I can never order anything from J&P again. The Sportster oil tank that came was not the same as the picture that I asked for and received. The tank needed risky modifications for it to work and it does after bending one of the tubes that was pointed directly into the frame and rerouting two other lines because the nipples were facing the wrong direction. I requested the picture to specifically identify exactly what I was purchasing in order to make sure it would work without issue because it was needed for a trip. I typically do extra research to avoid having to deal with the hassle of filling out return forms and shipping parts back etc... I also paid overnight shipping costs because it was needed (almost half the cost of the part itself).
Because of the fact that J&P has no issue with either substituting or misrepresenting the product that I purchased I have lost consumer confidence because I can not trust information from J&P. to be accurate.

Love going to the J&P Cycles rally, it is always very well organized and easy to get into. I loved that they had the highway partitioned off for it, and plenty of police presence to direct traffic, makes us feel extra safe on the bikes coming in. The blocks for the kickstands was an awesome touch, something only a true biker place would think of :) I felt this year's rally was a little less exciting for the ladies, not a lot of clothing/accessories that caught my eye, but lots of parts for the guys to look at, good food, and entertainment. The retail store is well-stocked and easy to walk through/see everything, love the banner up top in the back area.

I am leaving this here because your web page, seemingly, has no ware to leave a customer service review... unbelievable.

I've wanted to write this review forever and I'm hoping against hope that someone who matters at J&P reads this. YOUR SEARCH FUNCTION IS FROM 1999! If I type something in your search bar and it isn't spelled, or phrased, in the exact manner it was tagged my search returns nothing. I regularly go to your competitor's site to find something i end up purchasing from your store. THAT'S INSANE! Wake up! Not all of your customers order by phone with a check, not all of us fought in Vietnam (though, being a vet myself they do have my respect)! You could be making sooooo much more money if you joined the rest of us in the 21st century. You have scraped by on fast shipping and great customer service for WAAAYYYYYY TOOOO LONG & your competitors are catching up. SERIOUSLY, LISTEN, LEARN AND MAKE THE CHANGES YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE IN 2010 (if your confused that was a decade ago, I feel the need to say this after having had to mention the above).

J&P cycles will not take responsibility for causing excessive damage to our $25,000 custom motorcycle when they sent us the incorrect parts. We have had to get an attorney. I would not recommend this company at all.

Very confused and unconcerned company. No expertise in international shipping and documentation.

"When I ordered my product it showed in stock and would be shipped within 24 hours. 48 hours later when there were no shipment details, I had to chat with customer service 2 times. The first agent told me shipment would occur shortly. Then the second agent told me the shipment would occur after 1 month!!!!

Panicked, I called customer service the next day and found a replacement handlebar that the agent said their system showed one piece in inventory, but she could not reach anyone in the warehouse to confirm. I took the risk and wanted to place the order, but the replacement was more expensive. I found the same handlebar on another website for a lower price (do not remember for sure, could have been DennisKirk). The agent then tells me since the competitor is having a sale, they could not match the price. What is price match for? A competitor is selling at a lower price, from their ready stock inventory. Finally she understood that the competitor site was showing the MSRP and then showing their sale price with the discount. Got a supervisors approval after a long wait. I placed the order.

They shipped the product, but without an international shipping invoice, and to top it off, did not include in the invoice, the $55 shipping that they had charged me. Again a call to customer service. After a long hold spoke to a supervisor by the name of Steve who assured me he will speak to an international shipping specialist, and ensure an updated and correct invoice will be sent. Guess what, the replacement invoice again was missing the shipping costs. As a result, the customs treated the shipment as a "freight to pay" shipment. Loaded the assessed value by 20% and charged me 43% duty on the additional value. As a result I landed up paying almost another $50 in customs duty on a $500 purchase.

Till today, I have not received a proper invoice from J&P Cycles accounting the complete amount charged to my credit card.

I will strongly urge customers not to buy from this vendor, especially international. Their entire approach was "okay, so what", and that is simply not acceptable business practice. Add to this their website showing incorrect inventory statuses. Very avoidable.

I am giving the second star only because they finally did ship what I ordered and at the price I ordered it.

So last Saturday I go in to order a helmet. I tell the guy the number and he asks if I'm sure, I double check and he says that the number I gave him is for a small, and he gives me the "right" number for the large that I need. So the helmet was supposed to show up today. I call into the 800 number to find out where it is and I get told that is on back order for 2 weeks, And that I also ordered a small. I also come to find out that they do have a large on site here in Anamosa per operator. I call over and they say they do.

Usually when something is on back order the company would call and let you know, but I guess not at J&P according to who I talked to. I work for a Customer Service company, when something we have is on back order we contact the customer, not the other way

So i get over there and Proceed to get attitude from the girl at the counter saying "ohh, we must have been busy and they ordered the wrong thing for me."

Fine. I ask to change the order and get the large one that your website and the lady at your 800 number says you have. I then get told that the one that they do have is actually being returned to the vendor because of damage, OK again, i ask when do you think you will be getting another one, and i get told, I don't know. So is there anyone around that would know? No, i get told.

I then show her my phone saying that is says they have one in stock. She tells me that I should try refreshing my phone and that should reflect the correct status. I do and it still says available. I ask her when did you return the item and and told on Monday, 4 days ago yet the website does not reflect that and its my fault it seems that I'm asking questions

So she tells me that she can still order the one I want if I want to. But can't give me a time frame or even go ask someone that might know.

I live less then a mile away form thier warehouse and will NEVER shop there again, Worst customer service experience
