So last Saturday I go in to order a helmet. I tell the guy the number and he asks if I'm sure, I double check and he says that the number I gave him is for a small, and he gives me the "right" number for the large that I need. So the helmet was supposed to show up today. I call into the 800 number to find out where it is and I get told that is on back order for 2 weeks, And that I also ordered a small. I also come to find out that they do have a large on site here in Anamosa per operator. I call over and they say they do.
Usually when something is on back order the company would call and let you know, but I guess not at J&P according to who I talked to. I work for a Customer Service company, when something we have is on back order we contact the customer, not the other way
So i get over there and Proceed to get attitude from the girl at the counter saying "ohh, we must have been busy and they ordered the wrong thing for me."
Fine. I ask to change the order and get the large one that your website and the lady at your 800 number says you have. I then get told that the one that they do have is actually being returned to the vendor because of damage, OK again, i ask when do you think you will be getting another one, and i get told, I don't know. So is there anyone around that would know? No, i get told.
I then show her my phone saying that is says they have one in stock. She tells me that I should try refreshing my phone and that should reflect the correct status. I do and it still says available. I ask her when did you return the item and and told on Monday, 4 days ago yet the website does not reflect that and its my fault it seems that I'm asking questions
So she tells me that she can still order the one I want if I want to. But can't give me a time frame or even go ask someone that might know.
I live less then a mile away form thier warehouse and will NEVER shop there again, Worst customer service experience
