This is our go to for pizza in the neighborhood. Delivery is great, as is pick-up service. Their pasta sauce is super good too.

Great place for cheesy thin crust pizza. Open late.
I moved to RP about a year ago and this is my fav pizza on the North Side. Love it!!
JB Alberto's is my favorite pizza place in Chicago hands down. Minutes away from lakeshore drive and amazing food. Love the fact that they have pizza by the slice.
One of best pizzas I ever had we need one Hyde park neighborhood
Amazing little spot located in Rogers Park. I come here for a pizza slice once in a while and they never disappoint. Even with all that's happening they are still running a top notch business. I highly recommend this place.
What can I say. Jb's is that spot. Great food great price
This is the best pizza place in Chicago; their pizza is outstanding. Love their pepperoni, cheese, sausage, and bacon pizza. The sauce is the best and I love their pepperoni and bacon. Their delivery guys are so friendly and the food tastes good the next day in the microwave. Their crust is great and crispy even in the microwave; especially the oregano cooked into the pizza. I would recommend them to anyone. They wont deliver to my house as I live too far south for their delivery; but when I do go the Northside. I get this pizza, several of them, and freeze what I don't eat; they are just that good,
I ve been a long-time customer and I m a big fan of sausage pizza. But I think they recently switched their sausage, I can definitely tell a difference. I m not sure if they change the recipe or supplier, but it definitely is different and it s not the same. I will not be returning unless the sausage is the way it used to be. And I know there are a lot of other customers that have been saying the same thing.
By far, some of the best pizza i've ever had. Their pasta and chicken dishes are also very good, way better than any other pizza place in Chicago that stays open late night.

I've ordered from J.B. Alberto's for over ten years and have to their PIZZA is absolutely the best.
Fast delivery, courteous delivery guys. Do yourself a favor, treat yourself to a J.B. Alberto's Pizza tonight.
I grew up on this pizza. I travel from the suburbs to the city for it every chance I get. I hope they never go away.
Whenever I travel to Chicago I must have some pizza from JB's there's nothing like it
Haven't been up north in a while, but when I do I always grab me a slice, fries, and a sprite
Arguably the best pizza in all of Chicagoland. We have been ordering food from here since the 1990s! The food quality has always been amazing, the pizza is so authentic and delicious. I've brought people from the suburbs out here and they can't seem to get enough. Wish they would open a location with a full dining experience
On Saturday May 26th my family and I were passing through Chicago while on vacation and decided to stop at J.B. Albertos and order some pizza to take with us on the road.
I called the restaurant several times between 4:30 and 4:45 pm to place my order, but no one ever answered the phone. I got to the restaurant and told the cashier that I had been trying to call to place an order but that no one had to answer the phone, she replied rudely that she was too busy to answer the phone.
At 4:55 I placed my order for a 16 inch thin crust half sausage and half pepperoni, and for a 16-inch veggie Deluxe with garlic and green olives added to it and pepperoni added to half of it.
She told me it wouldn't take any longer than 30 minutes.
And actually ended up taking about 45 minutes.
When we got in the car and started heading down the highway we opened our pizza to eat it, and the veggie Deluxe had black olives instead of green olives and it didn't have any garlic on it. As such we were not able to enjoy it as we should have been had it been cooked the way I ordered it.
Furthermore, the half sausage and half pepperoni pizza, was a full pepperoni pizza.
I understand that they were busy and had a lot going on, but this type of customer service is unacceptable.
Pizza is on point! If you are dropping by and don't mind getting something random ask about the cancellation pizzas it's a good deal
Great Pizza, weekends closes at 2 am and it really cannot be beated, the most quality for your money.
It's been a staple in my household since I was a child. I can argue probably the best pizza in Chicago. One of Rogers Park's gems
I'm standing there waiting to pick up pizza, cashier looks past me and asks customer behind me if they could be helped??? Then when she decides to wait on me, I ask to add bottle of coke. I get home, its diet coke. She frustrated me from the beginning. She needs to pay more attention
Fast, friendly, nice staff, cute too. Great experience.
I've been coming here since the early 1980's. Great for and fast service.
I love it, I've tried several pizza places and until now J.B. Alberto's is still my favorite. Super deli!
Delicious, cheap, simple but well made slice of thin crust. I come here for pizza by the slice, no matter where i move in the city.
Here is the legendary Landmark. This place has some of the best damn pizza you'll ever find. This is a Rogers Park landmark.
The pizza here was incredible. No doubt about that. We decided to try this place because we got a welcome to the neighborhood free small thin crust pizza. It was a great coupon - it amounted to $15 off the order.
We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were only so-so. We wouldn t recommend them any more than the frozen kind that come from a box. Don t pay $6 for something you can get at Jewel.
The only complaint is that we walked about 10 minutes to pick up the pizza and the employee wanted us to surrender the coupon - even though the coupon had a one time use coupon code that we put in our cart online. Made no sense. They made us walk 10 minutes back home and 10 minutes back to get the coupon, by which time the mozzarella sticks were rock hard and the pizza was cold. We had to warm the pizza in the oven for it to be edible. Once it was heated it tasted great, but the hassle was just too much.
I have been ordering from here my whole life
It is so good
Had better pizza but it was a royal feast that late at night.
So far everything I've tried, from the sandwiches to the appetizers to the wings to the pizza are really really good. Except for maybe the mac n cheese triangles. Those aren't their strong point. But seriously everything else is good quality and delicious. I recommend it.
Been coming here for ever an the you woman wan rude as hell... But like this place before she got here....
One of the great old time Rogers Park institutions. The best pizza sauce ever
Quality ingredients making it the best place to get a pie.
I'm a NY pizza fan, and this is the closest I've had in Chicago so far--it has the right crust, sauce and cheese flavors. They only ever have a few toppings, cheese, sausage and pepperoni, I think, which is fine, because they seem to always have them, and they're always fresh--better to have a few things they do right. Their "deep dish" isn't messy, saucy Chicago deep dish. It was more like NY sicilian, except pie-shaped slices instead of square--but the same thick doughy crust, not filled with sauce like Chicago-style (the thickness is dough, with a thin layer of sauce and cheese on top like regular thin crust). It's easy to get a single slice, and eatable on the go. Anyway, great prices (although I remember when a slice cost $1.25)--$2.30 for thin, $2.90 for thick, or something close to that. Lots of bars around, so I'll bet they do healthy business from there.
extra good pizza from a neighborhood favorite and delivery was faster than promised
Placed a larger ordered of fried chicken dinner white and dark meat, got 2 white. Called the store and was told they cant help me. An my wife dnt eat wing or breast.
My favorite pizza place in Chicago. Amazing thin crust with fresh toppings and plenty of cheese. In my opinion, it's the best Chicago pizza around.
Just called for some pizza n I told the guy I need change n wanted me to come downstairs n just pull off with my food just now one star 1312619 whoever that number is
It's usually Customer service oriented-This visited was highly disappointed-I was told 4 to 5 minutes on 2 deep dish slices- waited 10 minutes and asked how is it coming to be told it will be 10 minutes more with a excuse that I looked at it wrong I have been a customer for more than 25 years but it didn't feel like one
This is not the best pizza in Chicago, it is the best in the world....First time here 32 years ago, would not go anywhere else....
Terrible reliability when ordering delivery from this place. Have been ordering for years and have finally seen the last of it. After experiencing a day in hell losing someone in the family they mix up the pizzas and close down for the night. Sad to say our tradition has now been broken. It's time to stay away from here for a while. We used to order twice, three times a week at some point, but weened down due to the amount of mistakes that have happened.
The only reason it gets an additional star from 1 is that they actually have decent pizza. It's the mistakes that drove our family away. Thanks for the years.
Great place to get fast food maybe a slice of pizza 2GO !!!
I love this place. Great north side pizza place. Been going there for 30 years.
Amazing pizza. Been eating the pizza from this place for over 2 decades. The pizza is as good as I remember it as a child.
Ordered from J.B's numerous times, great Pizza and Food! at any time
A very well known local spot for its great tasting pizza. Whether its thick or thin crust, pie or single sliced, im sure you will enjoy everybite... and unlike other pizza joints they have single slices even at night almost/if not till closing. wich i believe weekdays is till 1am and weekends till 2am but call and check, dont quote me on the last part.
I've had the amazing pleasure of eating this pizza since I can remember. Having lived in Rogers Park then West Ridge, it's always been a must have. Being in Milwaukee now, I miss it and crave a slice or the giant.
The menu is variety with appetizer, salad, sandwich, pasta and special pizza. Come in orders often take 15-20 mins and the price is morderate. They are selling pizza by slice so this suite for single as well as group. There is no dine in, only carry out and deliver.
The best if not one of the best in all Chicago. I drive from anywhere in the city to Morse just to get a slice from JB's. Please try it.
Amazing pizza. You can grab a slice or a huge stadium size pizza for the family or friends. You will not regret trying.
Great food at a local business, friendly staff that is not overbearing
Took a 40min ride for this and it was worth the drive!! Great pizza!!
One of my favorite pizza restaurant in Chicago.. Anytime I come to Chicago, I always have to have it
This is the real deal! I absolutely love "cup and charred" pizza, but it's so hard to find in Chicago! This place is awesome, and the fact that you can purchase by the slice is awesome too. I definitely found my new favorite pizza joint in Edgewater / Rogers Park!
Love to get a Broccoli and Ricotta pie. I always pick mine up and they are always ready when I get there. Bonus! Free liter of soda with every pie!
I always ordered to order pizza or another type of food from this pizzeria but I no longer buy more here once I ordered a chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the chicken was raw after I ordered a pizza and it arrived without a piece and all the Pieces of pizza scattered throughout the box from that moment I decided not to buy more in this place and the delivery took too long sometimes passed half an hour or more and did not arrive in the time they indicate
Bought the heart shaped giant pizza for Valentine's Day and it was delicious.
Great pizza! Order online or with their app...it's easier than dealing with rushed/ unpleasant order takers.
Great pizza, try to stuffed deluxe. Good chicken tenders too. The pizza by the slice is expensive though, so buy a whole pizza.
The class meets more moisture oil Frances olive oil maybe it has it's too dry
Been ordering from here since I was a shorty. If I ever leave Chicago, this place will be missed. Best pizza and chicken.
