Ordered from here because the pictures looked have had many good pizza this wasn't one of them, had the JBA Deluxe, you would think with mushroom onions, sausage & bell peppers would have a great flavor, it didn't! it was bland sausage was bland aswell. Very Disappointed. Save your money. Unless you're coming from a bar and are real hungry this could be your spot.

Not happy with the service this time. Ordered delivery and was 30 min late. When it got here the pizza was burnt and they forgot our salad. When I called back to tell them about the salad they picked up the phone and just hung up. Had to call right back and wait another 5 min for them to actually pick up this time and wait another hour for the salad.

The pizza sauce is more like watery, stewed tomatoes than it is pizza sauce. For this, I have to give it a poor rating. They're not trying for the wood-fired Napoli pizza style, so the sauce needs to be more robust. Props though for excellent delivery service and quality ingredients.

I am eating pizza writing this and let me tell you something, I never really liked pizza that much but this pizza has managed to make me like pizza more than I ever could. My dad worked at the restaurant but not anymore so he was a fan of pizza. The cheese is exactly how the menu picture says it is. And don't even let me get started on the fries, they are right next to McDonald's good by far my favorite pizza place in the world

Best thin crust in the neighborhood. Worthy of the 5 stars, but I really wish they opened earlier. Too many times I want to get pizza for lunch and have to face the cold, hard truth that they don't open until 4pm.(sad face) worth the wait, though.

The best thing about moving to the area is that I now live near JBs. The pizza is amazing and they have the best single slices out there! They do open late in the evening but it is definitely worth the wait! They are also open late into the night.

It is Friday night, you're stumbling back home at 1 in the morning and you're too far gone and much to proud to open your top pantry cabinet and bust out that flavorless excuse of ramen college kids peddle off as an "experience" and you want something hot, fast, and tasty. No this isn't some awkward sex review, I am talking about pizza! Pizza by the slice, so you don't have to commit to a whole box and buy an engagement ring for it, unless of course...you want to.

JB Alberto's was the first place I ever ate at when I moved to Rogers Park seeing how it is about a block and a half away from my residence and I have come to appreciate how close I live next to it. They have regular thin crust and they have pan pizza. For the most part, both are not bad, it isn't really made up to be something like other typical Chicago pizza like Giordano's and I am grateful that it isn't.

The sausage on the sausage pizza has a nice, meaty, somewhat but not really spicy bite to it and on good days, the cheese oozes and the crust has that good snap. On not so good days, the pizza has been sitting under the heat lamp way too long and has that dried cheese taste that reminds me to gargle at night twice. Other food they have such as their wings, mac and cheese bites, and appetizers are...nothing out of this world, I usually just come here for lazy lazy lazy days where a quick bite of pizza is in order.

Would I make a long trek up here if I didn't live close? No. I wouldn't so if you think its worth the trek...personally I wouldn't say so.

The good: pizza by the slice (ranging around 3 dollars), nothing mind-blowing. Think of it as utility pizza.
The not so good: their other food is somewhat...meh but hey, it's known for pizza. Who cares. Oh and the prices on the board for pizza by slice may not be up to date.

Seriously, best pizza in the world. The thin crust is amazing, but the deep dish is to die for. Just don t order the Jumbo Wings. They do not sell Jumbo Wings. ( Jumbo Wings refers to a specific type of wing, which is not split at the middle joint. It is in one piece, not two.) If you order Jumbo Wings, they will send you mini wings, but when you call to ask about it, the manager will very defensively assert that that s not how [they] do wings, despite the fact that Jumbo Wings refers to an objective type of wing. But, regardless, as long as you avoid ordering their sham wings and just stick to the deep dish, you ll be fine. Best deep dish in the world.

Me: "Hi, is your Lasagna made with beef or pork"

Guy: "Hold on let me find out.... Beef but the meat sauce is both beef and pork"

Me: "But it doesn't say that on gh's app or on your menu"

Guy: "Yeah"

Me: "It says Homemade sheets of pasta layered with ground beef, cheese and MARINARA then baked to perfection"

Guy: "Yeah"

This message is for Tony, owner..Please, ship your pizza out of state. There are many Chicago citizens that move out of state. You drop the dry ice (7 days lasting) outside the air vacuum pizza packaging, put it in a pizza box and ship it by FED EX..It takes two days to get to Colorado. When I receive it and throw it in the oven..You will make money!!! Everyone is happy...:)

I have ordered from here more than any other restaurant in the city. They always cook their calamari perfect. Their Alfredo is rich and huge portions. Everything I have tried from here is good.

Best single slice pizza in the area, bar none. Hop in, get a thin pepperoni slice and walk the neighborhood. In fact, buy 2 slices- 1 for you to enjoy and 1 for a needy homeless person. At $3/slice, moral fortitude was never cheaper or more delicious

I just went in for a few slices and apparently I m wrong for getting my pizza in different boxes the cashier was making faces for no reason and when I also asked for a drink she responded so sarcastically oh and a drink. I been living in Rogers all my life and this use to be my favorite place. Well I guess things come to an end. So disappointing

The "cracker crust" pizza is very good. But if you're ordering via GrubHub, we recommend you call JB Alberto's the minute your delivery is late. Apparently their integration with GrubHub isn't very good? At least, that's who they blamed the last two times we had to call them to chase down woefully late orders.

I ordered an Italian combo with a link. it was the worst Italian beef i ever had with really old bell peppers that peeled when they stuck to cheese. dry chewy link and the ju smells like mop water. there was like 4 pieces of dryed out old tasting Italian beef and everything smelled off and no seasoning. the fries are very heavy greasy steak fries which they don't tell you. the storefront and the cashiers were very nice but I suggest not ordering anything from here but a simple slice of pizza and a soda.

I had to edit my review.......I want to let everyone know that this pizza place has menu item named Deep Dish. This is NOT traditional chicago deep dish so if you're in the mood for that type of pizza just know that you will not get what you want. I just ordered a deep dish pizza thinking that its traditional and now I'm stuck with a normal pizza with a thicker crust

Great food, definitely a staple for Rogers Park Italian style take out. Their pizza by the slice has unfortunately become less tasty over the past few years. Seems like somewhat smaller slices that aren't as cheesy. They have always had the best ranch!!
