J.B.Alberto's Pizza Review

I work for Ups in Northbrook. One my fellow brought us pizza and it was put standing. How ever your web site with some looking down at something going hellow is a bit creepy. You might want to change that. Thanks for the great food.

This is my parents favorite pizza place in Chicago and one of my all-time top favorites. I have a sister who moved away to Arizona who still asks us to bring her a pizza from here if we fly out to see her. I can't blame her for missing pizza this good either.

Just the best pizza in Rogers Park, and easily top ten in Chicago. Walk in off the street til 1am during the week, spend $3.50 on a deep dish slice, and there's your meal. But, they also have a full, amazing Italian style menu that is reasonably priced. Strictly carry out or delivery.

Excellent pizza!! We frequent this joint on a weekly basis! Love that they are opened late and sell pizza by the slice. Pizza's usually come with a free liter of soda ! Breadsticks are a little pricey but they are very tasty!!

I've been ordering here for almost 2 decades. The food is delicious, prices are great. I've had a couple delivery mistakes, but they have rushed to me to correct it with my order and let me keep the extra food even haha

My go-to place for a late night pizza. Free 1 liter of pop with every pizza! Try the double-decker-- it's like stuffed pizza with toppings on top too!

Thin crust, pie cut pepperoni is the best. Best pizza in Rogers Park, some of the best in Chicago. Keep an eye out for people out front asking for change; can be dangerous.

I ve been buying from them for years and they never disappoint. I recommend the fried chicken dipped in bbq with a couple slices of pizza. I ve moved from this area a couple years ago and all I do is dream about them. Lol!! I miss you guys. Bomb late night food!!

The only thing that might be better than their pizza is the Lasagna!!! The delivery driver is always prompt and friendly.

I have been coming here for the last 2 years-and they are consistently so good .Actually, they are the best. I usually order from j.b.s at least once a week. They have a nice little program where if you collect twenty coupons they give you a free pizza. They do not even need to do this because I will happily pay for their pizza .But I believe that is important to mention because they do do it for their customers and I find it important .I have ordered several different things from j.b. I have Heather thin crust pepperoni pizza as well as their deep-dish pepperoni pizza .And let me tell you the thin crust is exactly how you would want a thin crust to be-and fending with a deep-dish. The sauce to cheese ratio is on point as well as the crust is cooked to perfection.Have also had their meatballs which are phenomenal and their juicy bbq chicken entree. I have also had their baked mosstaccoli which was good wish it had a little more al dente noodles they were more soft. This is not bad it still tasted great but that would be my only feedback but even that is nit picking. You can not go wrong ordering from J.B.s.

I was visiting the Chicago area and decided to stop when we drove by. It was the best decision ever. I ordered pizza and wings both were amazing. Will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Best Pizza Ever! No one makes it like JB Alberto's!

My pizza is always delivered piping hot and fresh. The menu is varied. To top it off you'll get a freed one liter of pop or two cans of soda with your pizza. The delivery guys are really friendly. Thanks JB Alberto's!

Updating my review after a series of mediocre experiences...

J.B. Alberto's used to be one of my favorite pizza places, but my last several orders have all had something small off about them. From pizzas being a little burned, cannoli being half empty, to chicken being super tough.

There was a time when it seemed like I could order any item off the menu and it would be delectable! Not so anymore. Not sure what changed, but I don't think I'm particularly keen to order from J.B.'s again :(

it was probably a great place before they have a very good loaded fries with bacon and cheese. I had the veal parmesan not good. I also had the steak sandwich not very good I asked medium well and it was overdone periods and women at the counter are not following protocol. But I may go for back for the loaded fries

JB's has been a family favorite of ours for decades. The pizza recipe is unique and very tasty. Every person we've recommended JB's to has agreed that it's probably the best tasting pizza in Rogers Park or perhaps the entire city! Thank you, JB's!

This for the wings only! I do not know that I've had their pizza. But their hot wings are good. Always ready to pick up when they say they are going to be.

I tried the 2 presentations, thin and thick and both very tasty ... If you are very hungry ask for the thick one

Let me say you get a lot of spaghetti for the price. However, I'm not a fan of the flavor.

Before Salernos I would have give JOB Alberto's 5 stars. However they are just average at best. The one positive they have is they open late 1am on weekdays and 2am weekends. They make a decent deep dish pizza and their steaks a are very solid. JOB Alberto's is not as fresh as Salernos and their customer service is rotten compared to Salernos. The management has become too complacent and they do not value each customer as a valued guest. Salernos as today has really earned my business and they are only going to improve as their menu and dinning room expand. Happy Columbus Day I decided to celebrate by giving JB Alberto's another opportunity.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY

This place has good pizza, but every time I order delivery it takes ~2 hours to arrive. By that time the pizza is cold and soggy. The employees also never answer the phone (or leave it off the hook) so it is impossible to know whether or not they even got your order. I am writing this review after waiting for 2 hours 30 minutes. I would like to cancel my order so I can get pizza from a different place but even that is impossible. So unless you want to wait ~2 hours for a pizza, do not order delivery from here.

This might be my favorite pizza place... ever. The dough on the deep dish is to die for. Prices a little too high but I ll deal with them to stuff this perfection into my mouth.

Their red sauce is exceptionally flavorful, like homemade. Their calamari is a favorite as well. They also give back to the community by donating to local charities. Great food, great people. Need better delivery drivers and better customer service

The pizzas are always great. I tried ordering off the regular menu and the fish and the shrimp were lightly breaded and excellent. You got large quantities for the price. The ribs are also an excellent deal.

Visiting and picked this place because it looked like a good neighborhood pizza place. I was not disappointed. Delivered right to my hotel room was quite a convenience. I underestimated the size! Wow. I will be snacking on it all night. Being in a hotel I was glad they were able to provide at my request plates and utensils. I have had pizza in Chicago on an earlier visit that was unimpressive. Glad I found the good Chicago pizza this time.

By far the BEST local pizza place I have ever had! The thin crust pizza comes in many sizes, either by slice or whole pizza pies; great loaded fries, loaded baked potatoes, beef and turkey burgers, and more; fast service most days, busier on the weekends.

My father used to deliver for them since i was born. We lived right next door for 6 years. Now we live FAR south and still make the commute there. Worth the drive!

Went here to get a bite after fireworks with friends. She asked for thin crust and the young man working there said it would be 5 minutes. We sat and waited for roughly 15 until he she goes back up to him and he asks if she "just wants a pan cheese instead." Which at that point we took it cause we didn't want to waste any more time. I also saw the staff here forget about another man's order tonight. Food is good, however they seem slightly disorganized.

Yesterday I came in around 7:15p and received terrible customer service by two ladies at the counter and I am being too nice by calling them ladies because yesterday most definitely proved otherwise. Your customer service is a reflection of your business remember that.

This excellent little pizzeria right next door to Mayne Stage theatre is quite a gem. Its only take out and delivery but so delicious! Just had a slice if sausage deep dish and hit the spot perfect. Just enough sauce and cheese... prices are very reasonable. And if youre having a big party try the biggest pizza in chicago. 24 inches!
