Best pizza in the city, and I ve lived in every neighborhood from Midway to Rogers Park. Everything on their menu is great. You literally can t make a bad choice when you order from JB s!

Very good pizza. Some of the best that I've had in a long time! Nice big portions. Want a slice? J.B. won't disappoint you or the wallet .

Took away 3 stars for the number of hours I had to wait to get my delivery. When I tried to call back to cancel I was put on hold each time, not even hello please hold. Just straight to hold...I m assuming they have caller i.d I don t usually complain but here I am...

I used to like this place. Ordered 2 orders of Lasagna. Except for being way too salty it was flavorless. I ate half of 1 order and threw the rest away. What's happened to the salad you used to get with a,dinner order? Gone. I won't be ordering here ever again that's for sure.

On Saturday, January 25 my family ordered a giant. On the following day everyone that had a piece began vomiting. Never ordering from here again.

I think the pizza is so delicious specialy the pen pizza. and the pastas so good i love it. And I love the bbq ribs. Everybody should try it. ;-)

I order deep dish mostly. Thin crusts for parties on occasion. Pizza always arrives approximately 45 mins- 1 hour after placing order via phone/online.... it's usually hot and ready to be devoured by hungry people.
I've been ordering for years now and have never had any complaints on pizza quality.

Pizza by the slice in thin and pan is available in cheese, sausage and pepperoni.
Any discrepancy in orders are handled professionally and swiftly.

Honestly no complains about their pizza. Their crust is amazing. Obviously not the best pizza I've had, but it is still amazing!

Quintessential Chicago pizza. Get it by the slice or get a giant pizza (the name does it no justice; it's a 2' pizza).

Protip: always ask if they have cancelled orders. I walked away with a giant pepperoni pizza for $20.

Some of these reviewers are petty, just petty. It s pizza. PIZZA. You re paying a few bucks for the slice there is no reason your review should be 3-5 paragraphs long. And even for the few bucks it costs, this pizza is worth every cent. It s delicious, and consistent. I live just a block away, and give into my cravings for JBs more often than I d care to admit. But every single time they have given me good ash pizza.

Take out only. Nice variety of options. I loved their bbq chicken dinner.

The recipe has changed over the years. The pizza is made out of preformed Disks, the meat on sandwiches are weighed and the Italian beef is made there and tastes horrible! The only thing you can count on is that your pizza might be burnt, cold, or there's of only cheese in the middle. Don't ask for anything special because the kitchen won't understand your request.

Good food but they increase the price and the food got smaller!

When you walk past this place, the smell is so good you want to eat the pizza every time! We like getting the giant pizzas for parties. Another local favorite.

Good food, I haven't had a bad meal there. Do NOT go during busy hours or you will wait unless you complain.

Very Friendly, helpful, the slices are always fresh! I grew up in Rogers Park, I'm now in Jefferson Park and I of course take that drive to get me a couple of them.

2 hours for a pizza come on !!!!!! My wife called at 451pm and was told 1 hour well its 712pm and no pizza called 3 times and was told 15 minutes not good! Thanks for what?

JB s claim of their Passion for Pizza turned out to be a cruel joke on me. Whoever in the kitchen baked this thin crust pizza with basil and garlic, had the audacity put this Burnt Up Rubbery Pizza in the box and then delivered it to me.
I take comfort in knowing and seeing with my own eyes that...

I'm 70 years old now, and to say I sort of grew up eating JB Albertos is stretching it a bit. But my husband and I started eating here in our 20's...so 50 years! My kids grew up eating their pizza. The thin crust is well-oiled, with abundant cheese, and distinctive toppings. The sausage is particularly good quality and tasty...their salads and other menu items are fresh always. Although the family is dispersed to nearby suburbs, and children are now middle aged, we manage to eat Albertos once every 2-3 months and never disappointed! I swear it's the same cooks from the old days. The grandkids love this pizza too

They tend to forget my orders for delivery and sometimes do not apply the coupons I give them

I love jb's pizza been ordering since I was 18 which aug I will be 44. Tonight
I felt management could have done better. I ordered for the first time at my new home maybe this is why I received this treatment not clear. I ordered sausage pizza at 12:00 midnight received pepperoni for inconvenience was told keep it and I can receive a $5
Credit for a 23.40 bill so my other choice was to receive another pizza an return the other pizza which I did at 2:30 am so very unhappy you would have thought they would have offered the credit as well since it was clearly there mistake my receipt was proof

This is the best pizza in Chicago!! I ve been coming here since I was 5 years old. I now live an hour away and still take my family on a road trip on the weekend to get their giant 24 inch pizza!

JB Alberto's is my absolute favorite pizzeria in all of Chicagoland, i am vegetarian so a veggie friendly menu is a plus for me. My favorite is the broccoli, mushroom olive and tomato pizza delicious! and they are home of the largest pizza in Chicago coming in at at 24inches wow!

Love their chicken tenders and honey mustard. I have everyone in S&C Electric ordering chicken tenders and honey mustard.

Bad over cooked 4 inch fish sandwich,I will return Monday ,fish was about 2 ounces and the breading 2 ounces,they need to give the buyer what they pay for,not send out garbage,I rarely order fish,I will never order again.

GREAT FOOD SPOILED BY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACED WITH ATTITUDE! My trouble began with the website. After three (3) attempts, I was given the Google's Captcha error message "Transaction Incomplete, Scores Too Low." So, I thought I'd order for pickup as I live nearby anyhow.

When I spoke on the phone to the female, who I found out through the receipt was named Alexandra, I attempted to report that issue, but when I finished telling her about it, her reply was "Oh..well...I dunno," instead of offering to report it to a manager or apologizing for the issue, and I had to almost convince her to take my order.

The poor service continued when I picked up my Italian Beef and Cheesy Fries. Another female asked my name three times, forcing me to almost shout my name to her, and after I used the very same Visa card that didn't work on the website but did in person, I wasn't even thanked for my order by either woman, let alone be invited back.

One would think that, in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the many other restaurants in Rogers Park that all do a much better job and are in close proximity to this place and employment being not so plentiful these days, that they would try to at least act like they want their jobs. So, no thanks; I shouldn't have to pay extra for respect. I used to walk in and buy a couple of slices to go every now and then. Now, I won't even waste my time or my money here. Great job, dummies! ZERO STARS AND ZERO TIP, TOO!

This pizza is simply the worst I've had. Do not go here. WHO HAS "PIZZA" WITHOUT THE SAUCE? Ridiculous.

J.B.'s to me is a solid pizza place with other great menu selections as well. I've ordered several different meals from here and not once been disappointed. In my opinion is a far better go than the two other places right around the corner on Sheridan; this being the location in Rogers Park.

I love the pizza ! But mostly every time I call they won t answer the phone and when they do is the answering machine who puts me on hold!! So it takes me quite a while to place an order. They need to learn how to answer a phone.

This place has decent pizza but I give it 4 stars because it's definitely not the best Chicago has to offer. It was too hyped up for me. So I'm I told myself that I would come after work because my boss said it's supposed to be the best pizza in town. So once it was time to go home, I hit this place up expecting just that. Like I said, it's good but not the best. I'm sorry if you had this pizza hyped to you too.

Deep pan is awesome and deep dish is giordanos level... need I say more?

I have to say.. I never liked pizza much but JB Albertos is one of the ONLY pizzas in Chicago that made me fall in love. I have been ordering for years.. recently moved to a new apartment and got a gift certificate for a free 12 inch. When I called to see it if was legit the person who took my order was super nice and didn t make me feel like they were doing me a favor by giving me a free delicious pizza. I didn t even mention that I had ordered there before. The delivery guy was nice and once again after all these years I had delicious pizza and til this day I still can t believe they changed my mind about pizza . Thanks!

I got a coupon in the mail for a free 12" pizza because I recently moved into the neighborhood. Delivery was estimated to be 60 mins but they showed up in 30. That was fantastic! However, the guy wouldn't bother to come into the building and insisted I go outside to get my food. Then, after going down, he said I was supposed to bring the coupon down (it is stated nowhere on the mailer). I had to go back upstairs to grab the damn thing to appease him. He told me my total was $10 when online it was stated as $8 and change (including tax). Can't speak for the food as I have yet to try it, but based on the service I won't be going back. Thanks for the free pizza, but the attitude needs to go. There are PLENTY of places in Chicago serving up delicious pizza with great service. This isn't one of them.

Food always tastes great and is good quality. Unfortunately customer service is lacking. Order from them several times a week and without fail every other order is wrong and missing a side or even a whole entree. Everytime we've called we are brushed off and told it will be solved the next day. They offer no compensation for missing orders and just offer to send you your food you already paid for the next day which is ridiculous. No coupons, nothing, no refund. When we got ahold of the manager and driver they said there is nothing they can do. Have reported mistakes several times and they have yet to give better service. Will not be ordering anymore. Other than the service food is great but not worth the hassle.

Super delicious pizza by the slice. I wish they were open earlier! They're deep dish is one of my faves in the city and i drive from Wrigley to come get it.

This is our go to pizza place. They have a massive delivery range, from McCormick Blvd to the lake and from Montrose to the Evanston Wilmette border. Would highly recommend the double decker pizza. It combines two layers of pizza dough and toppings giving you the crisp crust of their thin crust pizza with a more filling pizza. Easy to feed a group with one of these. One thing to note, the thicker the pizza the longer it takes to cook. These typically take 30-60 minutes for delivery versus some of their other offerings. Their onion rings are also very good.

This place will never close its doors. Been there since i was a bopper. I just love it so.

Slice of Alberto's cheese pan pizza is the ultimate comfort food!

I was there a week ago and ordered a fish sandwich and large coleslaw to go. When I got home I noticed the coleslaw was not in the bag. It really ruined my week and I just don't know where to go from here.

Ordered a pizza and a hour later they didn't show and refused to answer the phone.
