I got an invitation to visit an event here.Food was top class, wonderful ambience, well behaved staffs and unique architecture sets it apart from the rest of top hotels in Kolkata

Went to peshawari for dinner. Pathetic table service , compromised hospitality, below average food. The only thing good here was the curd which was really different and of superior quality. Had ordered black daal, peshawari naan, paneer kurchan, kebab platter and raita. I can't comment on the non vegetarian cuisine since none of us had ordered that.

Visited Dum pukht. Nice place. Superb Indian food. Should try the Biryani which the restaurant boasts about.

It was good. If you are there for the first time, you will have a hard time finding out places inside the hotel by yourself. It's a big hotel and there needs to be directions marked conveniently. But the place is wonderful and extremely beautiful. Hospitality is good, the staff is very nice. I loved it overall. 5stars

The lodge is right at its offerings and staying right right here feels relaxed and comfortable. Rooms are a chunk small however are secure with cleanliness and proper hygienic. personnel are particular in behaviour and pleasant. Rooms had been sanitized every day and sanitizer saved on every floor not unusual regions. Breakfast and dinner had true options in menu. centers like wifi, tea kettle, hair dryer, swimming pool, gym and plenty of others are available. ground ground has pub additionally.

ITC Sonar is a very old hotel and there is a new one constructed adjacent to it which is the ITC Royal Bengal which is much more luxurious.
There are many luxury hotels nearby and gives a premium feel of stay.
ITC Sonar has less exterior beauty and is hidden among the more luxurious hotels like royal bengal.
But dont worry about the exteriors, the inside gives a very good experience.

Both the Sonar and Royal Bengal are connected by a marble bridge which is very beautiful.
