Delivered a two days session here. Excellent place in all aspects.

Good place to get together.. food food with drinks.. wonderful place to stay

Worst attitude by front desk staffs
Even though my package had complementary lunch & dinner .. they charged me for both

I stayed from 3.5.19-5.5.19... my room was not cleaned even once during my stay

Out side view from my room is horrible

I wanted to talk to Duty manager regarding some issues in billing, my request was put down & they gave a number as duty managers
Which was not answered even after repeated calls

I enjoyed an amazing staycation here. The interiors are luxurious & gives a regal feeling. The rooms are spacious, well designed & have all the amenities expected of a 5 star hotel. Not only that, but also their bathrooms are big & have bathtubs. The hotel is well known for its F&B. I dined in Dakshin, On The Rocks & Residency & the food was definitely a big highlight. A bit high on the price, but the experience they provide is worth it. I enjoyed over 1 weeks & I might plan another sometime soon. Even if you do not stay in the hotel, make sure you eat in their restaurants. It's worth it!

Service is good but building structure is old. There is improvement required in building.

Room cleanliness needs to improve. The old wing needs to be refurbished completely. Not up to Crowne Plaza standards. Food is very good. Staff is friendly.

nice hotel had attended a personal function there. location is nice parking is there and the arrangements were also very good. enjoyed my time there.

Swimming pool maintenance is very bad, no friendly atmosphere near pool and Jim. Limited varieties of food for breakfast. Reception staff will not guide any thing about the room while check IN. Pocket will get empty with out any satisfaction. Only good thing about this hotel is wallet parking. This is the worst IHG hotel that I have seen. The person in bathroom and toilet will be visible for the other persons after closing the doors also.

Very bad car parking....
You give money to driver's then they will park your car in portico.

Love the food at South Indian restaurant at Crowne Plaza named Dakshin ! Yummiest Indian food ever with filter coffee. Hotel ambiance is breathtaking. Thank you for the great experience and quality !

The rooms is big,spacious and well appointed. The sheets are nice and crisp and the bed comfortable. The hotel however is not very modern in terms of lighting and fixtures and has the old rustic touch. We loved the breakfast too. Was good to see Eggs Florentine done to perfection :)

A usual 5 * hotel. It used to be Sheraton towers earlier. And before that, Adayar Gate. Good halls. Food served was good.

Might just be the best 5 star in Madras after the ITC Grand Chola. The Park Hyatt and the Hilton do run it close though.

This is five star hotel in the heart of the city. It has excellent conferencing facilities. The quality of food is very good. The staff is courteous and attentive.

I stayed in Crowne Plaza for a week and i really enjoyed my stay.

Yes it is a good restaurant but the thing is they see people who are dressed good vs dressed normal if you are dressed normally they will check you like a fine check but if you are dressed good they won t check you so I request the hotel to ha e some respect for human being and everybody who comes in their has money in their pocket so don t see how a person is dressed instead Che k their pockets lol ! So that s the only backdrop otherwise they are good

It's a very old property previously known as Adyar Gate Hotel. It was also known for its happening pub called Dublin. Very much celeb frequent place it used to be. Now been taken over by Crowne Plaza group. Another unique point about this hotel - Indian cricket team always stays here while their Chennai trip. The current staffs are good. Nothing to complain about. The rooms are good. But the corridors and room interiors, esp the carpets need some attention though.

Best hotel for authentic south Indian food and continental cuisine.
Must try dakshin for south Indian and on the rocks! For continental food.

Location is very good, food is good, the foyer, coffee shop and the restaurants are well appointed.

This place is too crowded during the weekends and drinks are quite expensive when compare to other places.. There is nothing to mention about service beacuse it's pay and get.. Music is average and the club is opened till 3 in the morning that's the only advantage.. May be we did not enjoy that night quite boring for us... Thanks

Good food.. really enjoyed the food. Ambience not that great... I paid 1700 per thali meal... Place could be maintained better
