This is an upscale place in Chennai. Been here to attend a CII conference. I must admit the place is luxurious but with the old style of charm. Threes food is delicious and the interiors are a but out dated.

I have stayed here continuously 3 days in a week for 3-4 months. Centrally located in Chennai with very good quality rooms and restaurants. You have 6-7 restaurants options with very good quality food.

Good for long stay as it has got a gym, swimming pool and variety of restaurants. Close to hotel you will find so many great food options.

I saw most of England cricket team members here during India England series in 2016.

Dakshin is one of the most famous restaurants here with live music

In case of bus strike ..there is no bus avail ..n no share auto in this area ..you have to book cab else take an auto

Went here on my birthday day and this place made it so special, really enjoyed the food here and the way the treat was good. Mr.Palanivel surprised me with birthday cake . Overall we can spend a great time here Crown plaza only for crown buddies

It is 5 Star Hotel...I've not visited this hotel....but it was know as Adyar Gate hotel, 5 Star Hotel, Welcome Group Hotel.

Rooms were good. Air-conditioning in the rooms was very effective. Good good. Beach is about 35 minutes of walk from the hotel.
