Doctors deserve more stars for their professionalism and patient care; the nurses of the A0 ward deserve 1 star because they treat the patients with sufficiency as if they were plague and with little professionalism (do not they know that the patients are treated as people and not as numbers?); during the day of hospitalization they presented themselves twice with the patient's medical record, they did not bring anything to eat or drink. I am hospitalized at Humanitas in hematology. I am a patient of Dr. Ubezio, who I personally consider an impeccable professional. He always manages to talk to you in a simple way, giving you a smile. I find the human component extremely fundamental. Obviously the whole department team is prepared and present. As well as all the nursing staff, available and trained. Unfortunately the sore point is the catering service, absolutely not up to par! Times not respected, wrong foods, even sometimes there are no trays rather than cups to drink tea. Here, the coat of arms is such that frankly I expected something very different.
Here I come to perform blood tests and some specialist visits because I trust a lot of medical specialists who are in charge of my clinical situation. The blood tests are also done on Saturday morning, so I do not have to waste hours or days of work and then has a large parking (paid, you need to collect a parking ticket and then pay it to the cashier that is in the building 2 on the ground floor). It can also be reached from the Abbiategrasso stop of the MM 2 (green line), via a shuttle bus where you can request a ticket and take you straight to the hospital (of course it also makes the return trip). I recommend trying to go there at least once, then if you are satisfied you can always go there again.
There is NO way to make a booking to HUMANITAS with the National Health Service on the web page on their site, while for private services it is perfectly possible. This says it ALL ...

Excellent surgery, hospitalization and rehabilitation .... I can absolutely make an objective and truthful evaluation as unfortunately in April by now recovered from this operation in April falls and breaks the femur ..... Hospitalization too slow and inefficient. Too little staff for the amount of work. Out of 4 "active" positions, only 1 and waiting room with at least 30 people.
I have been here for job, so I cannot judge it for the service and cure. The structure is new and they are building an university campus, too.

Today, 27 July 2020, I am going to Humanitas and I discover at the stop that the shuttle is not there, it would have been the case to indicate it on the site. Then the only comfortable ATM bus runs only about every half hour. In Milan great ambitions are always cultivated but we lose ourselves in fundamental things.
I would like to know who is in charge of the F surgery in building 8 because, following my visit, I noticed that the elementary rules of education, dedication to work and privacy management by the local health workers are missing.

Humanitas has become our reference hospital since 2003 when my stomach cancer mother was operated, in 2006 my liver mother-in-law followed both with great competence and professionalism from Dr. Carlo Rossetti.
In 2016 my wife operated for lymph nodes with thyroid removal. Also on this occasion followed in an excellent way by Dr. Luca Cozzaglio, after the intervention is following the usual periodic visits with a very good endocrinologist Dott.Paolo Colombo.
I do not forget the kindness and professionalism of the preoperative staff, nuclear medicine and all the departments, including reservations and acceptance.
Our experiences are all very positive.

A huge hospital located on the outskirts of Milan. Easily accessible by train, metro and shuttle bus services. This hospital is enormous but clear indications help to find one's way easily. Numerous staff personnel are courteous and available to respond to any questions posed. I saw professionality and kindness from all levels of staff hierarchy much unlike what I have experienced in some Friuli hospitals.

An "absurd" access control service! The health emergency and the distancing have led to the adoption of access rules for which the PATIENT ONLY can enter and not in the ward but in building 2 intended for clinics. So I left my wife outside (walking problems for a knee problem to be examined with X-ray and MRI organized in solvent for the same day and to minimize the discomfort of traveling) and entered for acceptance and payments. Find many people WITHOUT A MASK (including technical staff responsible for painting the escalator area !!!!) .... but .... "ONLY THE PATIENT enters!" , inside "the desert" (also considering the working period) .... however .... "ONLY THE PATIENT enters!" I absolutely agree with the adoption of rules and I respect them in absolute terms, but as long as we are reasonable !! A disservice that "forgets the PATIENT (even if only for minimal aspects of support to the movement). and in fact while waiting outside: never seen so many wheelchairs to carry people .... absurd !!

I performed an Immunological visit with Dr. Marco Folci at Humanitas.
I had brought along a lot of material to be viewed, a rather detailed clinical history.
At the end of the visit it was agreed to carry out further examinations and then to evaluate the situation.
Carried out the same, I proceeded to send to the doctor by e-mail the results of the new exams, the examinations examined during the visit and other reports that maybe could be useful.
I was told that everything was fine.
I expressed some perplexities about it and I proceeded to ask for clarifications, which I had no answer for more than two weeks.
Only at my request, I was later replied that my doubts were unfounded.
I then turned to another professional bringing all the documentation already viewed by Folci, who has prescribed me for in-depth examinations being convinced it was not all right.
In the meantime, contact Humanitas (at the public relations office) to ask for the work of his doctor, in the face of the different opinion of the doctor I asked subsequently.
The answer comes after some time and basically inform me to believe that the work of Folci has been adequate.
Now I have in my hands the results prescribed by the doctor to whom I have addressed later in which the presence of "lymph nodes with immunoreactive appearance" is attested in the neck area.
Then summarizing Dr. Folci has defined "all right" a condition of immune stress with lymph nodes of immunoreactive appearance, and Humanitas, as requested by me, considered his work adequate and correct.
This is what, in my case, I am still under investigation in order to identify causes and therapies, unfortunately having lost precious time thanks to the inadequate indications received in Humanitas.
But this experience may perhaps be useful to others, who at least will be informed of what could happen by turning to doctors who work at Humanitas.

I had to do a Holep to reduce the prostate and I found an excellent organization, trained staff, but what matters most, in my opinion, is the feeling of security that they are able to instill. very clean and well cared for hospital environment ... practically a holiday !!! really good and thanks to all the members of the prof. I had high expectations before coming to this hospital. Yes, it is a huge, clean and modern hospital, but the medical check experience was, by far, one of the most unpleasant. I would point out some of the negative aspects (regarding doctor-pacient relation) such as: lack of empathy, incapacity to answer to all my questions, vague responses such as "I prefer so" with no arguments whatsoever. I left that place the same as I came, knowing the exact things that I knew about my disease and with no perspectives.
Good morning everyone, it's the second hip replacement surgery I do.
The first with Prof. Guido Grappiolo and the second with Dr. Giuseppe Mazziotta. I find it difficult to understand the negative judgments on the part of several patients, I wonder if they really have been in that structure, however it is understandable that those who find themselves badly are pushed to expose their complaints for bitterness and anger.
Perhaps those who feel comfortable take it for granted, or perhaps they are engaged in normal activities by finding time to divide the positive aspects.
Anyway, I personally thank wholeheartedly for ALL what EVERYONE has done for me and HOW they did it!
My grade would be 5 and honors.
I hope that those who deal with these reviews can convey my sincere and genuine thanks to the professionalism and humanity of dr. Mazziotta and his entire team, not to the doctors of the orthopedics and rehabilitation department, including nurses.
I am very satisfied with EVERYTHING they have done and with the excellent organization that is in the structure. It is probable that there are "breadcrumbs" (who eats crumbs) but perfection I think is a term not suitable for imperfect human beings, but to be applied ONLY to Our Creator. Remember that we are called "PATIENTS", so strive and help those who take care of us, helping them to work with more satisfaction as far as possible. I believe that, often we have TOO many demands and living in a world full of disappointments we are complain. By this I do not mean that those who complained did not have the reasons to do it, but that it is possible that not all donuts succeed with the hole !.

I tried to make a reservation request for a gynecological visit for my mother and a cardiological one for me by filling out the form, I should have been contacted to complete the booking ... I have NEVER been contacted! I also tried with the dedicated cardiology line but I went through two attempts of over 30 minutes of waiting on the phone without success and I had to give up. Operated years ago due to hypertrophy of the nasal turbinates. The dott. Fabio Bertone had proposed two paths to me: A. Intervention with partial anesthesia, but without guarantee on the result. B. Intervention with total anesthesia, guaranteeing results. I chose the solution B. After 15 days from the operation I had the same problem. In subsequent follow-up visits, a doctor confirmed to me the hypertrophy of the turbinates and the collapse of the nasal walls: A DISASTER.

My wife had a private operation here which was paid by insurance. However, when I saw how much they paid and what we received for that money..... Cold, unpalatable food, Sparse rooms and impolite staff. They put money over standards .Avoid. We received better service in the state hospital system.

However, my companion after a wait of 2 and a half hours after a road accident, in yellow code and summoned to the megaphone for the visit, after showing her number was rejected because she was late for a few seconds to enter the room and have canceled the priority.
