Like most of us, I loathe the car-buying experience. But, Mike T. and customer service manager Steve at Island Hyundai actually made the process enjoyable! We located the car online and called the dealership. Steve was straight with us about his prices. And when we went in the next day, Mike was very relaxed with us, neither men added pressure to the situation, and we got a great deal on a solid pre-owned vehicle. Good people at Island Hyundai!

I got this Toyota and sales person Mikey toramantona help me out he was very dinamic ,very gentleman person and he definitely deserve five star.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! This company owned a Kia dealership in Rivervale where we had been leasing our Kias. When we turned the cars in they didn't notify KIA finance properly and KIA finance has been hounding us for payment. We cannot even get ISLAND AUTO to return a phone call! This has been going on for almost a year!! I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND I SUGGEST IF YOU DO USE THEM, TREAD CAREFULLY!!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! They don't even deserve the 1 star!!

I bought my brand new car from Island Mitsubishi last week and they are the absolute best! Cornelis was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It was the complete opposite of the things I hate about car dealerships. They were so nice and not into the "high pressure sales" that most of us despise. I felt listened too, important and appreciated. They are the best dealership I have ever dealt with. It is so nice to have a good dealership here on Staten Island, I hate going into Brooklyn and New Jersey. If you are looking for a great experience in New York City look no further!!!!

Quick and painless! I have to admit I was so reluctant to go car shopping, who hasn't had a bad experience??? But went here due to a referral from a friend and I wasn't sorry. I worked with Mikey T. He took the time to find out what kind of car I was looking for and when I told him my budget he really worked with me to find a vehicle that fit!! ended up buying the Sienna and have been very happy with it ever since. I would and have recommended this place and Mike T. to other friends and family. My cousin ended up going and buying his car there as well. Great experience.

This was the fastest, smoothest, easiest car lease transactions I have had, and I have leased many cars over the past 20 years. This one was a 2018 Mazda3 GT Hatchback. Everything was done online with the help of Rocco. The paperwork was all ready in advance. When I got to the dealership I worked with Mike in Sales and Mike in Finance. Both were excellent to work with. They handled my lease return and had my new car ready. Mike in Finance was respectful of my time and got the paperwork done faster than any other transaction I have ever had. Mike in Sales was such a nice and helpful sales person. He had processed my lease return while I was in with finance and my new car was in the front ready to go. He went over the features of the car and I was on my way. No waiting at all. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Thank you all for such a good lease experience.

By far the worse car leasing experience I've ever encountered.

I went in to Island Auto searching for a pre owned vehicle, and was pleasantly greeted by Michael May. This guy knew his stuff! He showed me a few options, and I ended up walking out with a car the same day. I got a great price, and was never pressured into my purchase. I had a great first time car buyer's experience at the VW location of Island Auto Group. I heard about about the bad reputation that car dealerships had on Staten Island, but you all proved that reputation all wrong with your excellent service and no pressure approach.

And it have a few problems which caused it to fail the inspection we took the vehicle back to the auto sale
Where they having us being push around with today and tomorrow story
We even went in to inquire about the problem
The manager for some reason have a terrible attitude including the sale person who did my business
He not giving us a fair solution to his agreement

My husband and I have always leased cars going all the way back to 1999. We have been dealing with Jeep in 2007, when my husband and I first met Joe Smith. The 3 leases we have had for a Commander, a Wrangler and our last and current lease for our Grand Cherokee, were all through Joe. All 3 of these leases were completed with the utmost professionalism, and we would never go anywhere else to obtain a vehicle. This time around we are in the process of getting a lease for our 26 year daughter. As usual working with Joe is a dream come true. He is fair, trustworthy and would never take anyone for "a ride". As she is new to the car leasing arena we had to deal with a few hiccups, but true to form Joe came through with flying colors. Leasing a car for the first time, and even after 6 or more total that we have had, can be an extremely stressful experience. Working with Joe however eased our minds and makes this experience a little easier. Thank you again Joe for all your hard work, it's much appreciated..............

The people were friendly the service was fast with no problems

This is a long experience that has not had a single positive feeling. I purchased a car last month and was told my license plates would be shipped to me overnight when they received them (as I'm out of state) three weeks pass and I begin to try to call and find out info before my Temps expired. 7 calls a day for five straight days and never receive an answer. Finally I find out that they have my plates I just need an inspection. Get the inspection and now they never had them they couldn't order them until I got this inspection done. An entire month and nobody thought to let me know. And it took me a week of calling non stop to get an answer. On my drive back to staten island my tires begin to act odd and I realize that they sold me an all wheel drive car with four different tires and now they must be replaced. I was told I had an appointment with service to replace them on their bill when I retrieved my new plates. I have now been sitting here for 5 hours and my car hasn't even been put up on the lift yet. This place is an absolute joke. Their customer service is despicable and even when fixing their previous mistakes they create new ones. Hindsight I wish I had paid the 20 bucks to leave the island and buy my car anywhere else in the world. I will never bring business to this auto group and will make every attempt to deter everyone from using them. If I have to call you seven times and 3 of them I get transferred to a disconnected phone something isn't right.

Friendly staff, no pressure saleswoman Frida explained the the new SUV Palisade going through all the options and lease programs! I was collecting info for my daughter's next lease! This would be perfect for her Family!

I bought my 2013 Camry in March. Mikey T assisted me with everything. It was an easy process. He got me out of an existing loan and put me into a new car with almost the exact same monthly payments, which was my biggest concern. He is energetic, funny and all around a great salesman. While I was waiting he offered me food and coffee. I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know simply because he is there. When my lease is up, I look forward to going back to Mikey T for something new. I won't be going anywhere else.

NEGATIVE STARS FROM ME!
By far the WORST experience I have ever encountered!
About a year ago I received my first oil change went to Island Toyota Service and they left a huge scratch on the hood of my car, that should have been the last time I gave them business. However, I still went back this April to island Jeep. It was a terrible experience right off the back. We had a 10 am appointment for an oil change. We sat there waiting for over 2 hours. As we're sitting there we notice our car is parked in a bus lane, no one notified us. We go outside and we have a ticket for $115 (we weren't the only customer with a ticket) We were assured they would cover the ticket. It has been almost 2 months and NO ONE has personally reached out to us. After leaving several reviews, managers send email responses with their "deepest apologies" yet have us running in circles and transferring our phone calls all over Island Auto Group with no answer. No one calls us back, no one answers the phone. And if we're lucky to actually speak to someone they say they'll get back to us and NEVER do! Island Auto Group will NEVER receive my business ever again. I have MANY friends, family members and co-workers who are Island customers - who after hearing my experience refuse to deal with their company ever again! Thank you Island for the $115 ticket and the boot on my car I had to pay to get removed!!!!

AND I DO NOT NEED ISLAND MANAGERS RESPONDING TO THIS POST ASKING ME TO CALL THEM TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND NOT ANSWER, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TOO CALL ME BACK!

What a terrible experience with island auto group..they don't answers there phones for days.when you finally get in contact with someone ,they take your name and number and no one calls you back. I took my 2014 ram into be repaired again .3 days after I sent it in to be repaired.100 miles later the check engine light reappears and no one answers there phones..I wouldn't take a car from them if it was given to me ..

I went to Island Toyota on Staten Island from Manhattan after speaking to Christy and confirmed that my out the door price for a Toyota Certified Pre-owned car would be the advertised price, plus tax and dmv fee. When I got there, salesman Arkady told me that the the vehicle was not CPO and that I would need to pay for an additional warranty if I wanted it. Take a look at the ad. It clearly states CPO as well as prominently displayed the CPO logo. I'll write to Toyota separately on this. Then he introduced the dealer prep fee of $995. Manager Matt came over and I showed him what kind of dealer prep was done on the car for $995. It was hardly even vacuumed. I found a condiment packet, the car smelled like smoke, and it could definitely use a shampooing and wipe down. He said he could not honor that price and made it sound like Christy's communication to me was a mistake. I wasted 3 hours, gas, and tolls. My experience is similar to other reviews. Stay away!

The absolute worst car buying experience.. everything you dislike about car dealers ask under one roof.. the big sales push is that they don't want you going across the bridge to Jersey.. fair enough.. looking to finance a motor vehicle with third row seating and ask wheel drive I found the hyundai sante fe se to be an ideal fit. A salesman by the name of Anthony C, seemed to be fair and understanding of my needs and negotiated with me a fair price for the vehicle. I was told I could pick up the car the next day but was later informed that the vehicle was not in stock.. I could pay more for a similar vehicle with extra options or hold off until the vehicle did come into stock.. two weeks later I was told the vehicle was still not in stock and that I should consider paying more for an upgraded car. I checked inventories and found the car I needed in Jersey went out and bought my car the same night. Island Hyundai gave me the run around for another week refusing to return the money I put down to put a hold on the vehicle they could not provide. When it's time to make a sale everyone in the show room us your best friend, when things aren't going their way they have no problem telling you where to go and how to get there.

Joe smith was excellent as my salesman. Both before and after my purchase he has been extremely helpful. Not a fan of the finance office which gave me an uneasy feeling and almost caused me to not make the purchase, but like I said Joe was great to deal with.
