Friendly staff , complimentary drinks in the gaming area , food & drink are some of the best in the restaurant, easy parking and lots of promo's , couldn't ask for more , ( suppose you could but why bother )

Had a couple of beers here today and the lunch cheese burger off the new menu. I'd have to say that I expectmore from a restaurant. This was a very average meal.

We just pulled in for lunch at the bar. Parmy and pot for $12. Beaut atmosphere, and the food was delicious! parmy was hot and good size, hot chios and salad was very nice. More than what we expected. Amazing value!

Great place to hang out with an extended happy hour

I went here for lunch on Saturday, the meals are at at great price, It wasn't overly busy. The meal was nice but could have been better. I had fish and chips with salad, the fish was 3 very thin pencil lengths of battered frozen packaged fish and the salad consisted of heaps of onion, lettuce, a small piece of tomato a rasher of capsicum. All of this could be improved on. Irish Finigans use to be a great place to eat and the food was top rate. I was disappointed to see the quality has gone

Lamb shank well cooked but vege almost non-existent. Mash very mushy.

Good feed, cold beer and pookies.... what more u need

I ate in the front bar ,very reasonable prices ,not bad for pub grub.

Management need to stand up and train their staff, not leave them alone and expect them to know everything. Very poor service in the sports bar. No shade in the "beer garden"! Bring back Phil.

The last 4 times I have eaten here at night ranging from Thursday night to Sunday has been so disappointing! It is like a ghost town too now! Take the hint Finnegans..no customers means very low standard of food, quality and taste, especially for the price you're charging! Time to IMPROVE quickly..VERY quickly! Will not be returning!

The few places in Townsville that serves Guinness, and serves it well. Pot and parmi for 12 was well worth for its portion as well.

A decent place to take mates on a Saturday night for a few beers.

Takes forever to get served in the bar. Often no staff in there and for an Irish theme pub the Guinness is, wait for it.........$12.20 a pint! Go to the Brothers League Club around the corner - Faster, friendlier and $4.50 a drink less. Woolworths should stick to Supermarkets!

Poor menu, seniors portions ridiculously small.
I think I will go for Mats trivia & forget about the meal.

Great atmosphere, very professional staff, food is OK, and some great live bands. Especially that Irish band 33 1/3

Pretty good. Late nights can get a bit rough though with the type of "patrons" hanging around.. but during the day is usually ok.

The steak sandwich was below average, the parmigiana was great and the chicken schnitzel was good as well, the staff where fantastic and polite

No staff waited for ever for 2 soft server not happy may just drive passed next time

Very disappointed waited well over hour for main meal. They forgot our entree altogether. My partner had to remind them just before we finished main meal. Bar staff in restaurant didnt know how to make cocktails. Don't have oysters on menu anymore. Very disappointed as been coming here for years onl

The smoking area is the best place to get skin cancer no shade too hot

Didn't hate it but didn't love it either.

Terrible place to eat, went on a Saturday night before a movie. Asked about the fish of the day, off the regular menu. No we don t have fish of the day, on a Saturday when you d be expecting customers to come through the door. So I ordered the chicken Maryland, it was RAW. I will NEVER return to this awful place.

Livley atmosphere at the expense of extra loud music

Food was good value, the men enjoyed the mixed grill, friend's risotto hit the mark and my salmon was delicious, although a light sauce would have given that extra yummy factor. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating however the boys had issues with the bar staff not filling the glasses properly. A nice experience overall.

About what you'd expect in terms of food. The booth we were sat in was literally falling apart though. Pub is in desperate need of a reno, or at least some repairs. Won't be going back again. Wait staff were really nice though.

The side dishes served with Main Course was pretty plain. Could definitely give better value for money in that part of the meal.

Went out to Irish Finnegan for dinner and my wife had a Seafood board and I had Porterhouse Steak and salad. Both were discounted for Thursday night and both meals were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great night out for a special occasion.

Food was great a few flowers on the table for valentines day would have been nice.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Tuesday night Trvia was pretty good. Meals all seem to be good quantities too.

We brought a large crowd and service was not too long. Staff were helpful. Food was well priced and tasty.

Young bloke serving in the sports bar needs to find a job where communication and customer service skills aren't a prerequisite. 2 med-rare steaks, came out dry and well done. The lady that delivered them was lovely though.

Food was just ok but setting lacked cleanliness. Ledges around booth covered in dust. Old gum stuck to seat . Window ledge thick with dust. Not a savoury place to eat. Not sure I could recommend it unless evidence of proper cleaning

Terrible service. Took over 40 minutes to bring out the meals. Took 30 minutes to tell someone they had run out of pork. Promised them a different meal however it was not what was promised. A child's meal had been ordered and came out after all the adults' meals. Finally the kid's milkshake came out after approximately 45 mins. A burger was ordered and the bun was wet and soggy as they had put pineapple directly on the bun. Didn't clear plates away and as a result flies started hanging around. Extremely disappointed as it used to be one of our favorite places to go

We are regulars at the quiz night. The 2 girls serving behind the bar require some training in communication skills and knowledge of wines. I requested a particular advertised wine. The barmaid replied that they had none. No other offer was made. I asked if they had another brand of wine, but again not available. Another barmaid asked the first barmaid what we wanted. The first wine we requested materialised. We were provided with wine glasses that had just come out of the dishwasher. I also returned the water glasses as they were dirty. I ordered a seniors fish and chips. I received what can only be described as a fish finger. We have been going to Finnigans for a number of years. The service and food have deteriorated over this time. We do enjoy the quiz night but I am seriously thinking of giving it a miss.
