Really appalling staff at the everlast restaurants...
Really appalling staff at the everlast restaurants or whatever there called. No customer service and no idea

Forno Luca pessimo !!!!
Do not go luke Luca rude and arrogant !!! I asked for two espressos and 1 espresso macchiato and I trimmed a big glass of milk, when I said that I had ordered stained continued to recite six fifty for several times, in practice pay and go!
Finally among them in Greek they shot Italians here and there, remove Italian from the sign, please!
There is one thing on the tickets, in reality the other thing happens ... Always pay attention to what is on the electronic scoreboards, because Gate 3 suddenly becomes Gate 5. Hardly any seats, because it is completely crowded. Airport is a disaster.
One word - dump. I do not understand it especially well done to spoil the view of the rest?
Renovated but even early morning sanitary Anoagen borderline. No priority pass lounge for Schengen room. Bottle of water after security check under 1 EUR!
You simply dont want to be there if it rains. Had to wait over an hour to get passengers and lagguage out of the plane. Lagguage was of course soaping wet
Vo chlkommen chaotic conditions at check-in. Sanitary facilities for a part defective, otherwise in a cruelly unkempt condition. In the security check the most unfriendly handling (to all travelers). Actually a reason to avoid Crete (but what the hell, the island is magical).
Corona measures are a JOKE. Buses are fully squashed after the plane arrives. When we leave today it's even worse. There are too many people in the security area that the safe distance cannot be maintained. There are no free zones and no adequate ventilation system ?! Something like that shouldn't happen !!
After disinfectants are available in every small shop or restaurant in Crete, there is not even enough soap or toilet paper here. All in all, the airport looks down here and anything but a high security zone
Possibly we are talking about the worst airport of Greece. Tragic!!! Too many people small airport that cannot control all this mass and 9/10 you will have to stay more due to delay of the departure . The people are so many that usually there is no available chairs to have some rest. Please do yourself a favor and break all this place down and build it from Zero... correct this time
Bathrooms are a latrine.
The toilette is the LATRINA.
I used this airport in late summer. A fairly large airport conveniently located between heraklion and the touristy chersonisson area. As for the structure is large but a bit old and lacking in information, even the cleaning to be improved. Large and untidy outside yard, dotted with rental points, stalls, advertising sails, and much more. chaotic. It would also need to be remodeled because the island, very hot, big and beautiful, is good for a mid-season tourism. A treasure to be valued for Greece.
The second worst airport experience I've had, left queuing outside in the baking hot sun for ages with no information, can't think of anything good to say about this place, the 3 worst airports I've been to have all been Greek Islands, its the only thing that really could taint an otherwise lovely holiday.
Very small and old airport for the number of flights.
The worst airport I've ever seen in the world !!! Dirty, all disorganized, toilets disgusting, staff unfriendly! An absolute impertinence for travelers!
Small airport a lot of tourists, luckily the office residents are doing the job
I have made airports in my life but this one is by far the worst of them all! The air conditioning does not work, some waiting rooms are plunged into darkness. All the flights are late (I want to believe that the punctuality is not the strong point of the island but the one, one is on international flights !!!). The waiting rooms as the toilets are dirty and on the verge of ruin. If you plan to take your plane down soon, plan to spend a little time in dubious conditions ...
Dirty, unfriendly personnal. Personnsl is shouting at tourists, dirt everywhere, too expensive. Toilets are not safe to use. Everything is expensive and showed in a bad dirty, busy area. Not enough motivated personnal. Nightmare, i wish we are soon in Amsterdam (Schiphol)
Very friendly staff. However, our twin car did not fit in many elevators - too tight. More space needed for passenger traffic.
Catastrophe.
Completely chaotic airport.
Long lines and long waiting times. Completely disorganized.
A pathetic excuse for an airport. Swimming over might be more comfortable.
Only means to an end. Dirty sanitary facilities and overpriced prices in the restaurant.
the worst airport we have ever seen and seen! Never again!
Arrival / entry with 3 adults and two children on 07/19/2020 via TUIfly at Heraklion Airport very good, the staff at HER Airport are very friendly. QR code presented - without any problems, we were allowed to go straight to our luggage at the baggage carousel.
Simple, but everything is there .... on the other hand, the organization of baggage registration should be reviewed ... much too messy and slow.
1 star even if it is worth less.
Little organized compared to the huge flow of passengers passing through it.
Few chairs and places in which to stop without being in the way.
Very dirty: orderlies who keep going back and forth with the cleaning cart but don't finish anything.
A single bathroom (the one upstairs is not working) dirty without toilet paper, soap and the possibility of drying your hands.
Check in very slow and hostess insecure about what to do.
Very personal luggage control service but few who worked seriously. Some enjoyed mocking passengers creating false alarms and confusion.
From personal experience it is the first airport that I found so dirty and unorganized
Check-in was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are a disaster. There are toilet seats in a few toilets. Security check in was also quick and straightforward. Unfortunately, there is no smoking area after the security check.
Very messy and uncomfortable atmosphere. Worst airport I've ever visited in Europe!
Heavily outdated building that is barely able to handle the herd of travelers.
Unfortunately very crowded and disorganized. We had a nice lady at the suitcase but that was all. On arrival we had to wait for 1 hour on the suitcase and on departure was a dermasenes confusion that the flight had to start with delay. The airport is very dirty and broken especially the toilets are terrible closing the doors was only by means of garbage bin in front of the door push.
Long waiting times at the baggage belt. Not a great welcome to Crete... Our vacation in Crete was great after so it really isn't a big deal.
Airport obsolete and small: no bridge so boarding and landings are off (we take a bus).
The toilets are neglected and not well maintained.
However, I must recognize the efficiency of the personnel at the PIF * as well as at the boarding gates: a fluidity in the passage to the BIP and no delay in boarding that I observed during my waiting.
The Duty Free is convenient and well organized: 3 to 4 crates are available and we can not miss them as they are indicated by the 'PAY HERE'. As soon as you take an article, a hostess comes to you and affixes a label (type QR code) on it. Be careful, the bags cost 0.11 and the cashiers do not specify it.
Wi-Fi is available in protected area (boarding lounge) but was not working at the time I was on the scene.
PIF *: Post Inspection Filtering
Extremely dirty airport, do not use the toilets! This airport (except the Duty Free area and the people who work there) is a shame for the beautiful island Crete.
The main airport of the island of Crete. Although the airport is the first on passenger traffic in the country during summer months, it has substantial undercapacity. This is in terms of systems, facilities and infrastructure. The result is that you have long queues and sometimes poor hygiene (toilets are not clean enough). Personnel tends to be polite and they try hard to operate under huge pressure. There is a fairly good cafe-restaurant on the first floor before passing security. The airport was partially renovated in the past year which brought some improvement to the mentioned issues, although much more needs to be done.
Worst airport ever.
No lockers, only 1 toilet where a pair of glasses is on it and there you can neither complete nor rinse.
Mieser, unfriendly service and basically dirty everywhere.
Nice duty free area. Seating is sufficiently available. Luggage delivery and security check went very fast.
Unfortunately, you can not give 0 stars, so only one. Further reason for at least 1 star, you arrive at home and the airport can be flown.
The sanitary facilities are an absolute disaster, partly no paper in the toilets, broken locks or no light in the cabin. I have rarely seen such bad toilets!
The check-in was also a total disaster, totally disorganized and confused. The human impact has blocked everywhere ways.
The airport itself is not or only partially air conditioned, so it is bearable in the summer only with its own fan.
The security check was also a joke, you were carried through in the second. Here one still seems to have a lot of trust in the people.
In the departure area was suddenly trying to convey a sense of luxury through the modern designed duty free shops, this feeling ended at the latest at the departure gates ... too many people for too little space, also crowded everywhere the masses. There were only a few lucky seats.
Plus point: the airport makes it possible to spend a holiday in Crete. ;-)
Not a beauty. But everything worked. You could see that there are long waiting times when package tours arrive by bus at the counter. If people wonder that their suitcase with raki, ouzo and olive oil weighs 32 kg, the chaos is perfect at some point. The duty free area is relatively modern but not particularly attractive in terms of price.
I did not believe that this airport has go so bad reputation. I was flying last week and I can confirm it is the worst airport ever! Lack of organisation. Three checkin desks for four flights almost at the same time. I'm hoping I'll never go back to this lunacy.
The check-in and security control was very fast but the staff was not very friendly. There is not very much after the control. You can buy some expensive food (take away) and duty free stuff but that's it. You can only just sit and wait for your flight.
Attention! The lounge is before the security control!
Processing was quick and ok, but that's about it. A single place where you can buy food (without seating) .. of course you can then ask for what you want .... 5.70 for an old cheese cake ... sorry but that doesn't work at all. I actually found the sanitary facilities much worse ... especially in corona times. No toilet lids (!! ??), no toilet paper, every second faucet on the toilet defective, hand dryer defective, no paper to dry hands ... even in Egypt the conditions at the airport are better. Otherwise, like everywhere else, you can buy overpriced items in duty free. Costs about twice as in the cities or villages. The airport itself and the staff are ok. But the rip off with food and drinks plus zero hygiene in the sanitary facilities gives macimal 2 stars.
The only positive was that we had our luggage quickly. Otherwise everything was very dirty (especially the toilets) and old.
Miserable. Dirty, rude staff, with manners of wizards. Avoid it at any price!
Long queues at check-in and during boarding. By the gates there are not enough seating for everyone waiting for their flights. It seems as the airport was not designed for the numbers of travelers that are currently going through it everyday.
It's a little chaos but we get there at the same time. Nothing disturbing.
What a mess! Have been to airports in Latin America and Asia, but have never encountered such a chaos as at this so-called airport. Late check-in counter information, unclear where to queue, waiting for 2,5 hours in line, a dysfunctional x-ray machine causing more delay, line after line after line, no seating, dirty toilets. VERY unfriendly airport staff. Abysmal. Have no intention of ever coming back here.
The worst. From arriving into baggage collection chaos to leaving in complete chaos... I wouldnt recommend going to Crete purely on its airport experience... If you can get here by any other transport do it!!! Otherwise avoid like the plague.
Everything went quickly for me, no problems, delays, etc. And the staff is in Russian, communicates politely There is a night cafe, an ATM. Near the sea
Airport too small for so many people. Not enough staff. Toilets not usable if you have to be big, not even toilet glasses ...
Absolute no go at the airport
Very dirty toilets with no paper roll. Gate seating area full of garbage and dirt, not cleaned for days.
Very basic provincial airport. There are duttyfree cafes. Very often there are delays in charter Russian flights from 1 to 4-5 hours
One of the worst airports to visit. Plenty of people, completely untrained for such traffic. Toilets are messy, washbasins are dirty, winds and cranes are broken. There is a lack of chairs so that those waiting can at least sit down. Missing cafes. The registration staff is working slowly.
Total chaos! No logical order in check in, to (own!) luggage drop-off, to security. No personnel in sight for any questions/support, and those ultimately found gave conflicting information.
Check in/ gate/ security staff where not able to smile or say at least hello or thank you at all! Beside that, we had to put our own bag on the belt for the X-ray check, quite old-fashioned.
Toilets are dirty, no wifi and far too crowded and hot for such a small airport. BUT as soon you survived that the people and island of Crete makes you forget this very soon :)
Everything is badly organized
The prices of the food are exaggerated. This is the first time in my life that I see a small bottle of water Evian more than 4 , never seen!
Flight delayed necessarily.
Goodbye.
has to improve. The management must read these reviews and worry about their position if not improve fast.
Failure, dirt, mess, lack of organization, what I found in the toilet cannot be described. I do not recommend!!!!!
Disorganised airport with rude staff who largely ignore you, especially when you don't speak Greek. Travelling with a child and they do nothing to make it easy on you where it counts. I'd say avoid but then it's not like you have a choice.
The worst airport of my life ... almost all the flights have had late (and not a little) the wifi is non-existent, the staff do not give information (except in German) and the smell of the toilet makes you want to vomit ... and the general cleanliness of the airport leaves a lot to be desired ... in short a shame!
Home deplorable and toilets out of order. Only the duty free is correct since business obliges. Not up to an international airport
I visited it today at gate B6. There is no placard. The dirtiest of the dirtiest. I'm afraid to think, when the last time the toilets-the mountains of the wall paper were being cleaned-the dirty toilet bowls. Armchairs, floors and windows waiting room never washed probably never ... Duty free is a few racks with chocolates, alcohol and lipsticks.
The airport is small. Priority is a tiny room. To get into it you need to register in advance.
Incomprehensible pointers.
It is difficult to understand that in order to get to exit B10 you need to stand in line for passport control after exits B6-B8 .... And passport control is located after all duty-free shops . It is incomprehensible to this.
On of the dirtiest places I have ever visited. Sorry, but it is really ugly here... The 'toilets' are disgusting!!!
Total chaos, our gate has changed 3 times from check-in to departure! Whole masses then have to move from one gate to the other. Super great especially in Corona times. The condition of the sanitary facilities is a catastrophe, there is no soap, the hand-held hairdryer does not work, toilet seats are sometimes missing and the toilet paper is also not refilled, overall the condition is very dirty and unhygienic!
Airport with the architectural state of a ruin and logistics Mongoloid. I have seen many airports through my work, but even Calcutta is a Valhalla compared to this airport.
Airport great but treated a bit like a criminal for flying to UK with a Maltese passport
Absolutely bedlam !!!! no staff, no air conditioning and no idea it was very stressful. Holiday companies need to think how this effects there customers. We had a lovely holiday in Crete it was gorgeous, the Greek people are lovely and friendly, but unfortunately the airport let it down big time.
Bad organization with COVID-19 and loose security controls.
Hand baggage is not checked, only scanned. In Hanover, for example, the power bank was checked separately, in Heraklion, for example, no one looked into the backpack ...
The arrival hall was jam-packed, no counters open, everything was mixed up ...
Nice and helpful staff. She helped me with Wi Fi -). Very ugly building. He was prettier on Djerba. The weather is nice
For me a tragedy. The crowd at check-in and it's generally difficult to move. Toilets stinking that you hold your breath in. Outside, also a mess. I like Greece and its islands and the sea but the dirt is terrible. I noticed that items that went through the briefing in Modlin coming back here no longer pass. An example is the umbrella that was attached to checked baggage.
Baggage drop off only 2 hours before flight!
Baggage check in only 2 hours before departure! Luggage cannot be deposited at the airport as there are no lockers.
The airport is not designed for this mass tourism. Infrastructure has completely deteriorated. Duty free overpriced.
It's not Eleftherios Venizelos, but I don't think Chania needs such an airport
Totally overcrowded. There are too many fliers taking off in a short time, the passengers cannot be processed that quickly. Long queues, hardly any distance possible. Toilets catastrophic, too few, not maintained, some do not even have a toilet seat. Worse airport I've ever been to.
Is it really an airport? I have never seen a dirty airport like this before. The toilets are nightmare. How can they manage that it looks like a public toilette everywhere. Unbelievable! Very bad representation for Crete and cretan people.
That's just an airport what you want to expect great. The checkin area was crowded and everything seemed confusing but the staff of the travel companies went out of their way to manage everything. In the end everything went faster than expected.
Regarding the toilets - just take handkerchiefs and disinfectant wipes with you (if you do not have them anyway anyway) you will survive the klogang. After the hand luggage inspection still a big shopping area waits for you
