Our hire car was from Pama, as part of our holiday package. It's not unusual for basic Group A cars on Kefalonia to be battered and weary, getting one in good shape is luck really, but they are usually road worthy. Ours had tyres that would have failed any test in the UK and while I don't know Greek motoring law, take a look for yourselves. Bear in mind that you have to pay additional (not included in the standard insurance) insurance to cover your tyres - so it would seem fair to supply a car with decent tyres in the first place.

We used this agency for booking an apartment and a car and all the services were very very good. The personal is very kind and efficient. I recommend this nice agency.

Really good service, Elisabeth is very nice and helped us a lot!
They even picked up the car from Pessada Harbour because we had to take the ferry there. Even if the office is in Fiscardo which is on the other end of the island.

Last August we had a wonderful experience in Cephalonia!
We arrived at Fiskardo from Lefkade on the ferry in the afternoon. We had not booked anything. Neither car nor accommodation.
We just dropped in Pama Travel s cosy office, and abracadabra! everything was solved in minute.. I did not want to bring back the car in Fiskardo? A small charge and I was allowed to leave it at the port of Sami, a big saving of time and money for me! I also needed a car in Ithaca? No problem! A phone call to a colleague in Vathi was enough
Smiles and efficiency, that s how I would sum it up.
I ll be back in Fiskardo.

Rented a Nissan Micra last week and everything worked as expected. Car was in good shape and took us all over the island. Staff was very kind and helpful to any of my requests. I recommend their services!

Best car hire company, very friendly and helpful, they also deliver to and from the airport-plus they organize cruises and activities and give you lots of information on the island and the things you can do with maps and everything :)
